The person's genetic makeup must be similar to his own, which is why Shadaloo's science division builds or clones his future bodies rather than pulling strangers off the street or possessing his opponents in the ring. This doesn't mean he can't possess other people through hard work and experimentation (one of his evil goals is to possess Ryu) but Shao Khan's alien body, not to mention his experience with EATING souls, would make on-the-spot possession practically impossible. Yeah, I think a saw a Death Battle Analysis blog on ScrewAttack, talking about Shao Khan's 10,000 year lifespan, and the fact he's been devouring souls that whole time. So, after seeing that, I figured M. Bison was pretty much screwed.
I agree with them saying Bison couldn't take control of Shao Kahn. My knowledge on Street Fighter isn't great but if I am recalling correctly he can't just control anyone he wants, he has to make them suitable hosts. Cammy and the Shadaloo dolls were made to be possible hosts for him, Seth (the lifeless robot body M-Bison was holding with the ying yang in his belly) was specifically made to be a new body for him as well. Either way everyone in his universe is mostly human with I think a very small list of exceptions, Shao Kahn is not human so he would have different biology and all that. Even if Bison could take him over I am sure he'd have a harder time doing it because it'd be a whole new entity to him. Also, if I am remembering correctly (I have poor memory..) you said that Shao Kahn absorbs souls without any trouble so Bison should have no trouble controlling him if given the chance, well Kahn is literally just eating a soul. He is not letting it take over his body, he is eating it and absorbing its power, mean while Bison is doing a more evil version of trying on new clothes, some clothes are harder to put on and some you just can't wear at all...bad analogy. Anyway, sorry for this useless rant, I am sick and awake at 5 in the morning and that is the only thing I thought to comment on. Nice video as always, can't wait to see Ivy vs Orchid.
The battle might have something to do with the sprites they used from their games. Shao Khan is actually pretty damn fast for his size. M. Bison seemed pretty accurate. However, lore wise, I am really on the fence who would win because Shao Khan really gets hammered with tons of plot induced stupidity. And this is due to Midway overpowering him and coming up with last minute ways to make him lose. If I were to disregard the plot induced stupidity, then I would definitely say Bison is toast. On another note, if you were to compare these 2 fighters based on video game performance, a giant spatula will be needed to scrape M. Bison off of the pavement. M. Bison is the nicest guy in the world compared to Shao Khan, you should look up some of his videos from various Mortal Kombat games to compare. I guarantee you will be horrified on just how cheap that bastard is when you see it. lol

For some reason people think he and the god tier MK characters are capable of planet busting and in a fan Death Battle, apparently a battle where Kahn fought Raiden shook the entire Earth. I haven't seen evidence to back this up but god damn, if that is the case then Raiden vs Thor doesn't seem TOO one sided then and Bison seems more one sided but I'd like to see why people think he is a planet buster and where he shook the Earth because I know his powers are restrained in the tournaments but do we ever see his full power?

But bison cant beat him?? the fight makes no sense at all and there is a difference from taking ones soul compared to some one using theres to steal yours.
