So cool! Before we bought our 1989 34’ Marine Trader, Elliot did extensive research on electric boats for the loop. He also found this same boat! So great to see more solar powered boats 👌🏼

Awesome. Wish the lady talking in the background would have had some common decency to be quiet for a couple of minutes during the interview so I could have better understood the conversation. I will definitely follow this product

I agree. Didn’t realize how much we were picking up of her until it was too late.

I’d love to see a build video on this boat, with highlights of the systems used.
Loop is bucket list trip. By the time I get to do it there might be more electric boats capably.

Met the man who built STEVI electric boat in Pensacola years ago. Amazing technology!

Very interesting. It looks like the Solar Sal people are scoping out getting into the cruiser market, they have a 38' and a 45' (in prototype stage apparently) on their website. Personally, I'd be inclined to go with a hybrid like the Greenline 40 or 45. With a little planning, you can do most of the days cruising on battery, yet still have the diesel if you need to hurry for some reason.

First, I love that you are from Michigan…second, this has potential and issues. Like most things new. Pretty excited about the possibilities in whatever format works!

@@ohbuoy4570 Born and raised here, and except for 20 years (Navy) I've lived here all my life. A couple of the big yacht makers are going with hybrids, although I _think_ Sunreef has a fully renewable (solar+wind generators) for their Eco sailing cats.
