Great idea. But I would take half or even 1/4 the liquid detergent and dilute it in the bottle. The fragrance and detergent would be still work the same and this way you can stretch the use of the product..,esp today as prices for detergents are rising!

I clean my toilet after every use but I've done this with toilet cleaner exactly the same method and I weight it down with a few marble pebbles that just fit in the top opening

I love Fabuloso but I worried about ruining the tank works, so I just add a few drops on a paper towel or wadded tissue and drop it in the bathroom trash bin.

I put pine sol or whatever I want at the time on a maxi pad and stick it in the bottom of my trash cans. Can use any size pads each pads last well after few bag changes
I added essential oils on a cotton ball and put in under my garbage bag in the can.

Nice idea, but I would try to strap the bottle somehow. When we flush the toilet, the bottle moves around and gets out of place, sometimes disturbing the flapper or tubes.

Fabuloso floor cleaner, it smells amazing. It’s purple like the one in the video. Pine sol would be my second choice.

I've tried this but it doesn't work, because there are holes in the bottom of the bottle and the water doesn't come out while the bottle is floating in the water tank. Water can come out of the bottle only when the tank is empty but I think the period of flushing and filling the water tank is a few seconds or 1 minute.
How long would this bottle last . How many days you get from the time the bottle is empty ?
My understanding is that chemicals could damage the parts inside the tank.
Yes, many toilets were damaged by doing this and plumbers recommend not doing it.

By adding this bottle you are lessening the water volume needed to flush and now you wonder why you have to flush twice.

A bar of soap in a mesh bag with a tie strung works well.
I did mesh bag using Irish Spring bar soap, but still have no fresh smell--keeps toilet clean though, just using toilet brush every day or so

We do not have these toilets anymore in the Netherlands. The waterreservoirs are all behind walls.

No this isn't good at all. Should only be water in the cistern. Chemicals can destroy inner components. Also if you have septic tank this could be a disaster. Also it's going to reduce the amount of water that flushes. Plumbers will tell you that's why they have to replace so many.

Ok but in california we have water regulation. So my toilet bowl tank ..is going to release less water in my acrual toilet bowl. Bc my tank is going to think it's more fulled bc of the space the fabulouso cleaner bottle takes up.
We used to put a brick or bottle filled with water in the tank to save water when flushing. Now they make smaller tanks

This would definitely interfere with the flapper mechanism.
Just know that any time you put any kind of cleaner in the tank, the manufacturer's warranty is void at that point.
Does it really matter? I’ve never heard of anyone depending on the manufacturer’s warranty on toilets. 🤷♂️
@@pauldeanda4985 it matters though right, if you have a brand new toilet you only have it installed for a couple of weeks and you put a cleaner in it and something internally goes wrong with the toilet you go back to where you bought it if they send somebody to your home to check it out and they realize that there's cleaners inside it, the manufacturer will not help you out. I've seen it many times I'm a licensed plumber in California and I see it all the time

It may smell fresh. But is it clean? There's a difference.
Well just clean it 🙄.What I mean is the idea isn't about cleaning the toilet, it's about having a fragrant toilet. You can clean it and still use the idea.
I would assume the cleaning ingredients will help clean the toilet somewhat or keep it clean longer

This will degrade the toilet guts in the tank over time. So if you don't mind replacing them, go for it. There are other ways of keeping your bathroom smelling good. Regular cleaning is one of them.
I've done this for years, my bathrooms are spotless and I live in a 121 year old barn. Never replaced the guts as well.

It has to do with hydraulic physics but i can't get It
it does not overflow because it does not have time because of the small hole made with a water, it does not give it time to equalize the level between the liquid in the bottle and the tank

She's referring to the back where water comes in. It's clean water from the main supply and drinkable in case water shuts down and you don't have any water saved somewhere...just an emergency option
