When I first seen this body style of the QX 80 back in 2011, I was like blown away with the design, and was thinking, this design is a Masterpiece, and today in 2022, it's still a Masterpiece thats tough to beat in looks, and style. Thanks Nissan/Infiniti for keeping their powerful V8 in this SUV.

I truly hope Infiniti can get through the issues they’re having with the outdated vehicles and lack of redesigns. The QX60 is beautiful and I hope it sells decently because I believe this brand can really turn things around in a short time with more updated designs and technology. Fingers crossed and great review by the way 👍🏽🙅🏽‍♂️.

@@Reesemaxx23 I agree 👍🏽, the QX80 along with much of the Infiniti lineup need serious redesigns. QX60 is promising but they’ll need more than that 🤦🏽‍♂️. I’m optimistic that they can survive if they stop making concepts and actually produce cars that get people excited.

Great refresh on an old car, especially the center infotainment. However, as a Nissan Maxima owner I see a lot of Nissan parts sharing in here. This should prob be a bit cheaper at like $70K-75K to steal sales away from Cadillac, Lincoln, and Lexus.

Looking forward to what the next gen will look like.
My only complaint is the interior, although it still looks good especially with the new infotainment. They need to completely re-haul it and bring a more modern/futuristic look to it.

5.8sec 0-60mph is gnarly for an SUV that is that heavy and big. I've always loved the look of the Nissan and Infinite full sized SUV's...the Armada and the QX80 are like those other alternatives to the much harder to acquire Toyota Landcruiser and the Lexus LX SUV's. The weird issue is that with how expensive these cars are, while they refreshed the interior a bit, they still barely touched the GUI of the infotainment system. It pales incomparison to the Palisade and Santa Fe in terms of usability. The Nissan Pathfinder also falls from grace a bit with a much older and slower interfaces, but the full digital dash is so pleasant in the Pathfinder, but so odd not to see in the Armada or QX.

Same old 10 year version since 2011. Front and rear facia have been revamped and the infotainment center dash is taken from the Nissan Armada this year(2022). They need to refresh this one for sure. I have the 2006 QX56 and 2019 QX80. I hope next year they would make it a big bigger in the rear, add panoramic roof, massaging seats, digital interior dash integrated within the dash with some flare. Also they could update the engine(though this 5.6 is butter) and add some better speakers than Bose. This thing is super reliable except for the Catalytic converters they will go bad around 80K. Plus this version is much cheaper than all the others out there and less to maintain.

Hi buddy , hey I’m surprise you didn’t zonk the back turn signals , me personally it bothers me every time they place turn signals in the lower bumper , it’s impractical, unsafe for low visibility. Anyone else ?

Hey 👋 good morning great video on the INFINITE Qx80 thank you bringing this one to us. I like INFINITE have the Qx60 myself. While the refresh is nice I think 🤔 a redesign would be better for this vehicle to stay competitive with the other brands in the full size category.
However the pricing is good compared to the other luxury brands so that's a plus to be under the 100K price point. Thanks to Lori and yourself once again for this video have a great day.

Is the Luxe trim luxurious enough to compete with Lexus?

Looking good Joe. Love large SUV's, but I'm very interested in seeing the LX600 from Lexus. That one looks great in pics.

85k isn’t a bad price, it’s a dated design but I’ll take it over the competition and save the extra 7k-10k.
