So what I'm thinking is, cars like the Leaf take forever to charge and rapid charging can ruin the battery life. If you're on a road trip what harm is it to just plug in and put a sign in your window that says "Charging in progress, slow charge"? Esp since charging stations can be few and far between and for the Leaf, for example, a degraded battery might only last 60miles. I use the Leaf as my example because it's the most affordable EV when bought used but it's also the most innefficient in terms of battery life
That's not the fault of the guy charging his car, it's the fault of the manufacturer for making the charging process so inefficient. If he could charge to 80% in 15-20min without degrading the battery life he would charge up and then stealth someplace else. I know this because I car camp full time and the last thing stealth car campers want to do is put themselves in a position where they will get 'the knock'. A lot of EVs that are affordable to 'normal' people (aka not the Tesla) can take 6+hrs to fully charge, whereas filling a gasoline tank takes 5 minutes. If we want to avoid these inconveniences we need to demand better designs from manufacturers. This is why non-plug-in hybrids are the best choice right now with the lack of charging stations and inefficient charging technology.
Cool! Man with a plan!! Keep rockin' that 🥷⚡ (stealth bolt) 👍😎
Appreciate the support!

I see no harm in that as long as it's a public charger/outlet and not some random plug lol
It's been a month is everything still good
Everything is good! Working too much lol thanks for checking up on me
no one else can charge the car because some idiot is sleeping in the car.😢
Hey I'm charging my car too come on now. You'd have to sit here for 7 hours to get a full charge
