Hi, I am really enjoying your channel!! I especially love that I can understand what you are saying...the sound is so clear! Also, I love your content and everything you cover for us!! I am looking forward to your adventures...
Good info. I leave on this Thursday (Jun 8). Just a suggestion on the audio, check your levels, they seemed all over the place from way too loud to barely audible.
Joe, thank you for watching. The reason sometimes our audio is all over the place is sometimes I have to cover up copyright music in the background, which takes away our voices. A lot of times we try to do our day-to-day talking in the cabin to help with this problem enjoy the carnival luminosa and Happy Sailing!
Everyone wants to go to The Steakhouse on the first night because of the free bottle of wine, but it's very cheap wine you get, maybe cost them $5.00 a bottle for the most..Not worth all the stress...On my first night,i am usually in bed by 10 pm,it can be very stressful on embarkation day.I seldom do much on the ships now,i have been on 47 cruises and only do Alaska cruises now for the scenery..The European river cruises is also one of my favorite.
Hello, glad to see your content….is the Luminosa as bad as the review? this is going to be my aunts first carnival cruise…and would like for her to have a good experience
Not at all. You make your cruise the way you want to make it this ship is beautiful and never seemed crowded and you could always find a seat by the window to enjoy all of those beautiful views in Alaska. Thank you for watching our videos and supporting our channel.
I will be on The Luminosa in June,my last Alaska cruise was in May of 2019 before covid,I usually spend a cpl nights in downtown before the cruise, but hotel prices are 4 times what i paid then,so i am flying in one day before staying at a hotel very close to SEA,with free airport shuttle pick up..I could not believe what Uber cost now to Pier 91...it's over $60,00 for the smallest car.I have done all the tours on previous cruises,so no need to go again, will be doing The Chef's table,my favorite meal every time i cruise, and i do get a lot of perks as a Diamond member..I think i will sail out of San Francisco on my next Alaska cruise,Seattle has gotten too expensive ,and it's a horrible drug/homeless city..
im so glad i found this video me and my parents are going next summer on this ship!!! when we go it will have been a little over ten years since our last cruise so we can't wait. glad you warned about the SEE event because that is definitely something we would have been into :)
We stayed at the Hotel 1000 LXR (luxury hilton brand) we had great service, amenities, and great food at this hotel. We highly recommend this place. You can average between $250 to $300 per night which is very worth the price. Always check third-party reservations and you might get a discount rate. We were able to go on off-season before school was let out so we did get an awesome rate. Thank you for watching.
I am sure the Salmon served on the ship is farmed raised...although it's in Alaska,The restaurants in ports are a complete rip off $80.00/lb for King crab?I get the same crab in Florida for $17.00/lb on sale...I will only visit the brew houses to try their beers..or walk away from the tourist area and look for a restaurant that cater to locals..I also walk with a lot of snacks, everything is very expensive, all that elk/deer/Game meats can be bought cheaper on Amazon and comes from there, don't waste your time with all that extra weight to fly back home..
Yes the cabins have had minimal upgrades at best. . They did make some nice lobby and Lido updates and the sunset. Bar and serenity area are very nice.
Your video is the 1st one I have seen where you tell us about the Naturalist show and the See Alaska show. Thank you for the information!

So much fun! Food looked good! Thanks!
Food is horrible on all the mega ships now..I have been cruising for 50 years and has seen the decline.
Awesome video from a beautiful couple! Thank you for the inspiration.

Which hotel did you stay in and if you don’t mind what was the price? This is our first cruise and we don’t want to get ripped off 😊

You never book a group table, you only get one bottle of wine per table..book tables for 2..and each table get a bottle...
Geeze, Carnival hasn't updated anything in 25 years.
