Thanks for posting the full review of the 860v14. I’m 60+ miles into my pair now and they have bedded down nicely. I have one slight criticism and that is the tongue of this shoe isn’t as good as the ones in Saucony shoes. It seems a bit shorter and is a bit less padded, but I wear slightly thicker socks to negate this. I would recommend this shoe to runners, whether they needed stability or not.
Got fitted for these and then bought another pair for rotation. Great stability. Put about 100 miles in each pair. Felt like they took a good 30 miles to break the foam in
I picked up the 860 v14 even though I'm a neutral runner. It's the best shoe I've used for true recovery paces. At every pace I've tried to run it is easy to lock in and roll through the strides. Midsole feel is firm at all paces and it's surprisingly good at running strides - the midsole has just the right stiffness to dig into your power down toward 3 min / km pace. It is much better for me than the Triumph 20, which feels.harsh underfoot at many paces and I can't run more than 10k in.
This! I have been a NB 880 fan since the version 7. I just received a v14 880 last week and just trying them on I was a little underwhelmed compared to past versions. Yesterday I tried on a pair of the 860 v14 and they were more comfortable than the 880’s, even felt like they had more cushion. I wonder if I would be doing my feet a disservice by wearing a stability sneaker even though I don’t require one.
I have the rebel v4 in size US 10 Wide 2E but it feels a bit short in length should i go half a size up in this 860v14 ? Should i get the wide in this shoe?
how does this compare to the kayano as to cushion? i am convinced i always need at least some amount of stability but i cant stand firm stability shoes.
I got the New Balance Vongo v6 and it is a bit snug fit and it seems it is not as wide as this 860 v14. It took me around 50k to soften up the Vongo and adapt myself with the shoes and I wonder if the 860 also requires sometime to get used to the plastic plate and the two different densities of the fresh foam .
@@vanvihung8982 I don't have the 860 v14. But I do have the Vongo v6 with a bit more then 100 miles so far. The Vongo required about 35 miles or so to soften up a bit. But still it is one of the more firm high cushioning shoes I ever had. A GT 2000 12, Gel-Kayano 29 and Structure 25 were way softer then the Vongo v6. But still I'm liking a lot the New Balance high stability shoes. But I prefer the competition ...

Vs the Guide 17?

860 runs a little short, yes
If you need the Rebel in wide, you should definitely get this shoe in a wide fit.

Hey, so 860v14 needs break in? So it’s quite hard on feet in the beginning?
