About Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory:
Despite the fabulous chocolates being sold all over the world, no one has seen the reclusive chocolatier Willy Wonka for decades. But to everyone's surprised, a contest is announced: five golden tickets are randomly hidden worldwide in Wonka candy bars. I just came back from seeing the movie and I did too.
At first didn’t want to see the 2023 Version … There’s nothing like the first one, a classic back the days… Mr. Wonk, Gene… Blue eyes, singing that song in that time as a kid… Wow! A factory, with all that candy to eat…🍭🍬🍫 It was something special - A beautiful song

No one else noticed that he has obsessive-compulsive disorder with stairs. He also does that stairs gesture in 2023.
It always bothered me that he did that with the steps but then I had a realization. He was easing them into this world he was unveiling. He was easing them into the world they once knew as a little child. A world of pure imagination. Most will not be able to meet themselves as a child anymore, as the world has hardened them and allowed disappointment to take over leaving wonder and creativity behind. That’s why Charlie won. He was the only one that didn’t leave those important things behind, rather he carried them with him. Hope, wonder and imagination can get you far if you don’t allow the world to take it from you.
this master piece is better than any new one
I had a dream the other night that instead of Gene Wilder in this singing part of the movie, it was Steve Perry! I think, considering my age (in my 60s), that it made sense, really. Can't some of you see "The Voice" of the 70s/80s in a top hat, holding that cane and singing this song? Or maybe it's just me...

Fun fact: All the actors and actresses except for Gene Wilder saw this set before the cameras started rolling. So, the reaction of the cast is a LEGIT first reaction. Makes me love this scene 100 times more, in my opinion.
