I converted to Catholicism in 2017. It's hard to imagine people as being "on fire" when they're sitting it stadium seating sipping coffee. But yet, the last protestant service I attended in 2022, that's exactly what was going on. It was the most cringe, unholy thing I have ever seen in a church. As a convert, I get what this woman is saying about "being on fire," however, I would argue that a Catholic who is on the kneeler 30 minutes before mass praying a rosary, or just having adoration with the Blessed Sacrament, is more truly "on fire" than someone sipping coffee after raising their arms for a few praise songs. It's very difficult to transition from Protestantism to Catholicism. You literally have to undo a lifetime of thought processes, expectations, habits, liturgy and theology. You have to be willing to question what you've been taught your whole life, then have the courage of conviction to follow where the theology leads you.
Yes, in other words, undoing worship based on how it makes ME feel. That's the clear difference. For me, I love to raise hands and I get spiritual jars from peotically cadenced and grammatically synchronized sermons. But I am being thought to be humble and hear God speak even in the dull and and not as captivating sermons, that way it's not about my feelings but about whom my heart is supposed to be responding to.
Awesome story! Another “protestant but not for long” here. I too attended one of Dr Hahn’s talks a few weeks ago in Charlotte, NC. He did a similar drawing, and I received what he called the Eucharistic trilogy-“The Lamb’s Supper”, “Consuming the Word”, and “The Fourth Cup”. From a guy who never “wins” any sort of drawing, I was stunned…just another way God has gotten my attention on this journey!
There is tremendous evidence that God works through lot drawing. God is working through Scott Hahn and his lot draws. Proverbs 16:33 - 33 The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the LORD.
How fascinating that you are deaf and blind to all of the protesting of this filthy man Jorge Bergoglio, coming from people that go to Catholic services. You may want to click over to Dr. Marshall et al. Lot's of protestants these days.
Wow… what a conversion. I have been a CATHOLIC all my life and I can’t be more blessed, I thank my LORD JESUS, for being in my life my TRUE GOD. Thank guys for this inspirational story. GOD BLESS YOU ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Catholic from the womb to the tomb. Regarding conversions you're doing great work we need Protestants to become Catholics. The war is upon us and the church is currently under siege.
Loved this talk. I am very thankful to all the converts who go through the difficulties of entering the church. They teach us lifelong Catholics within the beauty of the church and how to submit and follow Gods calling even if it difficult. Keep up the great work.
I always pray that I become a successful Catholic Social Media Influencer to spread the teachings and Revelations of the Catholic Church and the entire Christendom. I hope and pray the Devotion to the Eucharist and the Holy Souls in Purgatory helps me. St. Joseph, pray for us
I always pray that I become a successful Catholic Social Media Influencer to spread the teachings and Revelations of the Catholic Church Are you doing any part of the great commission that Jesus wants you to do and not looking for fame? Are you spreading the gospel or the teachings and revelations of a group calling itself the church? I hope and pray the Devotion to the Eucharist and the Holy Souls in Purgatory helps me. You hope and pray for the eucharist which is done in remembrance of what Christ has done once and never again and then you think that the holy souls in Purgatory help you. Just when did the reality of the complete sacrifice on the cross for all of your sins including the punishment for those sins Coll 2:9-15 get turned aside to believe a fabricated lie called purgatory? When Jesus atones for all of your sins 1 Peter 2:24 there is no stain to be cleaned up in the make believe purgatory. St. Joseph, pray for us Ahh there is another lie that you accepted because someone told you this is what you do. So Romans 15:4 points out that all scripture is an example of how we are to live and what we should believe and here you are asking a dead mortal, alive in the spiritual realm, to do what only God can and does do? 73 books of the bible and not one verse ever hints that you are to pray to anyone else but God !!
I soooo wish Justine could talk to my fiancé. She's so close to becoming Catholic but she's fighting it. She feels she will lose too much. Justine would be so good at explaining what she would be gaining. 😢😢
I do not know. But, you may need to let her come in on her own schedule. Try to show her the beauty of the faith patiently and explain everything the best that you can.
Simply love and adore Jesus. Let the Holy Spirit sanctify how you live, she'll be drawn in by your virtue. My fiance/spouse took 4 years before converting (i said daily rosary, daily chaplet, masses, novenas, green scapular for his conversion until he gradually warmed up and started joining me in all those practices). He converted last month from a starting point of extreme anti-catholicism. Just thought I'd share a message of hope! He now attends daily mass!
Keith nester story sounds like your fiancé. He lost alot but said "delaying God, is delaying his plan for us". My wife lost friends, family but at the end she gained more. She gained Jesus in the most holy eucharist, and that is worth more than family, friends. Will pray for you and your fiancé.
Keep praying for her and offering her to the Blessed Mother. For now, best thing you could do is is practice your faith and be a good example ; and love her whether she decides to push through or not. I will be praying with you 🙏🏻
Almost skipped this episode, so happy I didn’t! I know comments are giving slack for “on fire”, the reason the Church has so many fallen away (myself until this year) is because we haven’t been “on fire” for 60 yrs. We need more Paul’s, Peter’s and Joan of Arc’s. I agree, we need brazen & bold, plus silent prayer. It’s not mutually exclusive. God Bless this channel & Justine ❤
That Eucharist book story leading and ending with Dr. Scott Hahn reading your note was awesome! Glory be to God! Thanks for sharing your story Justine! God bless!
Protestant here who is considering the Catholic Church. Her testimony was SO GOOD and something I needed to hear. I'm still confused how Jesus is present in the Eucharist but I am open to being taught because I do want the fullness of Him. I'd love to know the name of the book she is referring to by Dr. Hahn she mentioned (behind her), he has so many on Amazon.
Dr Brant Pitre's bible study class 'Lectio: Eucharist' or his book "Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist" will change your life. I am so grateful for his work.
The biggest thing I remind myself (as a cradle Catholic) whenever doubts try to sneak into my mind about the Eucharist, is that everything in the New Testament must be greater than what came before it in the Old Testament. If the Eucharist is just a symbol, then the manna from heaven in the Old Testament would be superior, a greater miracle, and that's not possible.
Okay imma try my best here, although you may already know some of these, all of them typology. On meat and bread: Abel's offering, Melchizedek's bread, the Passover sacrifice, Bethlehem means house of meat or house of bread, the mana from heaven and the quails in Exodus (note that the mana from heaven is baked into bread and put in the Ark of the Covenant) Egypt: Joseph in the old testament keeps the wheat for all to take during the drought, Moses the lawgiver is kept in Egypt to reveal later on to him by God the method of sacrifice due to Him (the Passover, note blood on the doorposts, the blood on the Cross, and the required consumption of the meat),and St. Joseph keeps Jesus in Egypt during Herod's atrocity On sacrifice: Abel's offering, Abraham's sacrifice, the Passover. Note that the sacrifice is not complete and not valid without eating the thing sacrificed On the priesthood: Priesthood of the first born son (Abel, but note that Abel is not the first born son which is similar to how Isaac is not the first born but the only begotten which makes Cain somehow disowned, also note that Abel makes the more acceptable sacrifice), Melchizedek's priesthood and his bread offering, Jewish priests' Passover offerings. Only priests can offer sacrifices liturgically All of which culminates on the following: Jesus's priesthood is in line with the priesthood of Melchizedek He is the first born Son (note that it doesn't matter if he's the only Son) He's born in Bethlehem (house of meat/bread) His proclamation in John 6, the bread of life and the new mana from heaven (as opposed to the eating of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil in Genesis, also note the required eating) The new Passover sacrifice He teaches during the last super (note that the focus is not on the animal sacrifice but on the bread and wine, and note that only priests can offer the liturgical sacrifice which means He's teaching the Apostles how to do it, also parallel to how God is very specific about how Passover is done in Exodus) His sacrifice of His own life on the Cross (note the parallel with Abraham) The Lamb of God in revalation (note that in Genesis Abraham sacrifices a ram with horns tangled in thorns instead of a lamb when God said its a lamb to be offered which is rather strange until we get to Revalation, and also note the crown of thorns on Jesus' head, and also note that since the sacrifice must be consumed had God not stopped Abraham he'd be obliged to eat Isaac) There's probably more I'm forgetting. To understand these better get the book by Dr. Brant Pitre called Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist May God bless you on your journey
The books she has behind her are all books by Lawrence Feingold from Emmaus Academic, Scott Hahn’s publishing house. The specific book on the Eucharist is called “ The Eucharist - Mystery of Presence, Sacrifice and Communion”. The book others have mentioned by Brant Pitre is a great book, another great book on the Eucharist is “The Eucharist is really Jesus” by Joe Heschmeyer. May our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ lead you in your journey and the Holy Spirit enlighten your path as you consider coming home to Christ’s Church.
Praise Jesus that’s wonderful! The Eucharist is truly a matter of full surrender and trust that Jesus is what He says he is and that He is present in the Eucharist. Do you have a Catholic Church near by with an adoration chapel? An adoration chapel anyone can go to and someone is always there with Jesus present in the Eucharist. He is never left alone . If you find a church near you ask them to show you the adoration chapel and sit with Jesus for an hour. Ask him to reveal himself. It will be the best hour you ever spend. Godbless you on your journey sister in Christ ❤
Hi I’m a cradle Catholic and I just want say that all of you converts are a gift from GOD also. I’ve watched many conversion stories and this one is by far my favorite. Not only that but you guys are also one of the best defender of our faith. Again thank you so much and GOD bless always….
Just a correction on the bearing of fruits, the Catholic Church is the biggest and most generous charitable organization in the world. When I see the Protestant equivalent of Mother Teresa, then I will concede the issue.
Wow how beautiful! I deeply wish i could send this video to my daughter Erika Salgado and husband. they were cradle catholics went to catholics school. they move to Florida and r now Non Demonination. it been so so hard for us, is a wall build beween us. I need a miracle for them to come back home.Thank you for your great testimony. THANK YOU
My heart feels for you! I became Catholic some 36 years ago and then my only child decided she wants to convert as well. She did and I was quietly so grateful towards God. Later on in her life she decided to be a non-believer and my three grandchildren as well. Let it not come between you. I have accepted that years back BUT I pray for their return to God, pray the Rosary daily, as our Priest suggested.... NEVER stop praying for them. God has a plan for each one of them, a good plan, the best plan, and that plan I trust. Pray for them and reconcile ... love them and respect their choices... life is too short. I might not be here to witness their conversion, but Mary, our Mother and all the saints are praying for them. I do believe Jesus is the Waymaker! Jesus, we trust in you! God bless you. Love to you. 🕯🕯🕯⚘🌹⚘
Greetings from Singapore 🙋♂️ Thank You Sister for your sincere and honest conversion story to the One Holy True Apostolic Catholic Church , which Christ founded through St Peter ...2,000yrs ago. Welcome Home Sister. May Our Lord and Our Blessed Mother , Bless You and Your Loved Ones 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you for an incredibly enlightening and informative discussion. As an agnostic, I've started to reconsider my beliefs. Your insights inspired me to take a deep dive into my belief system and explore it more profoundly.
Wow. Ms Justine made my heart soar with her final story of her walk. I literally see similar things since I have come back home to His Church. This is beautiful to hear. Jesus does love us.
@@MichElle-zc9tu The rubrics are followed strictly, the preaching is excellent, and vibrant Catholics abound. About 25% of the priestly vocations from the Archdiocese of Detroit over the past 10 years or so have been members of OLGC., confession is available for an hour after each weekday Mass and Saturday afternoons, and it hard to hear at times at the early weekend Masses because of crying children.
Thank you Lord Jesus for Your Divine Work in the heart of your daughter Justine Calais and in the whole world ❤🙏💒❤️ O Mother of God conceived without sin pray for our continuous conversion for us poor sinners who have recourse to your most efficacious prayer ❤⚘️🌷
The entire Bible's message: 'Faith, Discipline, Obedience'. Early Christian Writings and the Saints: 'Faith, Discipline, Obedience'. The Catholic Church: 'Faith, Discipline, Obedience'. Protestantism: "Just accept Jesus into your heart and you're done. Jesus did everything, so you can do nothing. Let's crack open a beer and spend the rest of our life criticizing others, and, in particular, hating on Catholics without even trying to understand why."
Amazing testimony! Something I find when listening to these stories is a certain not quite jealousy, but why does Jesus not show me these things? But then the thought comes back "because you never doubted" even when I slipped away for various reasons I still never doubted.
I know this feeling of jealousy you are describing. What just came to my mind was what our risen lord said to the Apostle Thomas: "(...) blessed are those who don't see but still believe." Also, to whom much was given, much will be asked of. I try to trust God knows what I need.
Love all her Dr Lawrence Feingold texts in the background. I have them and also sat through his online lectures of the Sacramental Economy during Covid . He is fantastic .
Awesome interview, and loved your testimony Justine, please keep working on your ministry! I am cradle Catholic, who had drifted away from the church for many years, last year started again by attending a protestant church and felt so good, got very on fire for God, the Holy spirit, and wanted to keep getting closer to God. My protestant Pastor and friends were very anti-catholic, and trying to drift me away from the catholic church, saying we idolise Mary, pray to the saints and the usual stuff. I really struggled with discernment, I kept praying and learning from testimonies like yours, my heart just felt complete with the Catholic church eventually. It's like my heart shifted from finding it boring to finding a lot of meaning in the mass, the eucharist, the transubstantiation, it all made sense. Even if we think logically, the Lord left us the eucharist, it is in scriptures indeed, why don't other churches take it as serious or even consume it as we Catholics do? I found that the catholic church is so rich, and felt that the protestant churches are great in terms of music, and singing or praising, but then that was about it, which I felt I could also get from Catholic charismatic renewal groups. But the mass and the liturgy is unparalled..We have the sacraments - confession, the eucharist, the intersession of our blessed mother and the saints, anointing of the sick, and so much more. It is beautiful to always discover new things about our faith, and reading about the lives of the saints etc. I have no doubt that we are in the fullness of the truth, and I praise God for that. The only questions I still sometimes think about and ponder (doesn't mean I doubt our faith but just wonder), how come our blessed mother only appears to Catholics, I wish she could just make her apparations to protestants so that they could believe :) The other one is why are there protestants who also had the same discernment Justine or I had, and they are firmly convienced that God talked to them and that he asked that person to join a protestant church instead of the Catholic one? Why would God drive someone away from the fullness of the truth? Or was it really God that told them? I mean it has to be, those pastors also seem to be anointed, they preach and you can see healing and deliverance happening in protestant churches, just wonder why would God not just drive them to the Catholic faith? Obviously, not questioning God, he is infinite wisdom and knows what he is doing, but sometimes I struggle to discern was it God or the enemy speaking? I read or heard somewhere that God does not cause confusion.
Love your sharing! Thank you, sister! Gives me so much goosebumps and joy! He's so alive and really answering us in ways that sometimes will surprise us! Yes, truly phenomenal! God bless you all! Thank you!❤❤❤🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻☝🏻☝🏻☝🏻
What an amazing story of your journey home to the Catholic church. I learned a lot especially your vision. I will share the story of your vision with my daughter. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
It’s a paradox that we find God while searching for ourselves. I was a Catholic, began looking for “myself” and bought into a number of shares of the Protestors philosophy. I found myself looking for what “I” needed to hear. I did that for years. I sought what “I” wanted, what “I” could believe, what “I” saw as truth. It occurred to me on that journey one day that Christ brought Himself here to show us what He wants to see and He suffered death for me to learn this. he left us a Church, it is “My Church” in Chist’s first reference to it. That is where He is building. I had to turn my “I’s” into what do “I” do to be what He wants from me. It’s not about hearing what I want; it’s about making myself adhere to what He wants and He left us one Church. I went back a year ago and it was the very best thing, single greatest thing I have ever done. Hail May, blessed be the Church Jesus left and the fullness of it which makes “I” what He wants me to be.
@@MrDoyle07 That is a beautiful testimony of the faithfulness of Christ Jesus! Thanks for sharing. Our lives take on a noble meaning when we submit to Jesus! I am a convert from protestantism (which I won't put down because it was part of my journey to the Catholic Church) and I found my love of God just keeps growing and deepening as a Catholic Christian.
@@theresiagranados882May your journey continue to reveal its stipends throughout your life! And in His Church I know He will continue to reveal the eternal nature of its profound glory… …and we can know that’s true because Jesus Christ is doing it; even as we speak and hear each other He is doing it 🙏❤️
Of course, it is just exhortation. So much can be twisted - it's why we trust the Magisterium for the Truths of our faith. This doesn't take away from self-study of the Bible, or even Bible study - just be careful, the Bible is not that straightforward, otherwise, we would not have these many churches at each corner
I am getting tired of the "on fire " mindset. All those Catholics in and out of religious orders who pray the offices and rosary in quiet reverence for thousands of years ain't up the Protestant "on fire" mindset. Maybe Catholics have a quiet, steady burn and don't need to prove anything as Protestants do with their jumping, screaming, and waving their hands around to rock music.
Yes. Absolutely. I just left a similar comment and then I found your comment. This Oh, protestants are on fire but Catholic Christians, well they just aren’t on fire. I hear this all the time on this and different shows. It’s just wrong to constantly say it when it’s a myth. I love your quiet, steady burn analogy. Perfect! Thanks for taking the lead Theresa. God bless you.
I am a Catholic priest: you are right about Catholics not grasping at times what it is to be a true missionary disciple of Christ; I am one of them! Thanks Keith and Justine for sharing about your journey of faith!
Je remercie les convertis! Vous me montrez par vos témoignages que ce que je trouve normal sont en fait les plus beaux cadeaux de Jesus. Je vous remercierai jamais assez.
I’m Catholic but I went through a faze where I wanted to see how the other half lived. So I attended a non denominational Christian church. I was very busy at the non denomination church getting involved many ministries. After a while I found it to be very distracting . I think it took me away from prayer time.
Wonderful testimony - the curious protestants still debating the Real Presence in The Eucharist consider why Jesus invited the 3 disciples to Mt. Olivet to witness His Glory - His Real Presence? He not only wanted them to foretaste eternity, he wanted them to be strengthened in the days of persecution to come. They needed to be so firm in the truth of his glory, even unto martyrdom. That's why Staunch Catholics are on fire about The Real Presence - He wanted us to witness this Transfiguration and have physical access anytime we wanted to see him, not just imagine him in our minds. Shalom ✝
I've heard so many conversion stories but what I would like every convert to be asked is a question that comes from my own devotion to the Eucharist. So, after growing up outside of the Catholic Church, how did it feel the first time you received the Eucharist?
As a former Protestant, I can tell you that being one is very easy: nothing is really required of you. Want to go fishing one Sunday, no problem. Want to go on vacation and skip any service, not a problem.
I missed Mass on 10/27 bc I’m visiting Scotland & my friends and I booked a tour. I thought I’d be able to go to Mass before the tour but found out the church was further than first realized. I went today (All Saints Day) but could not receive the Eucharist. I hope to go to confession when I get back 11/2 but may not be possible. In other words, yes, there are consequences to missing Mass on the Lord’s Day. It is not optional
In addition, my Protestant friends who I’m traveling with are completely comfortable with missing their Sunday service. Also, some of the tours we took of formerly Catholic cathedrals, one of the men made a snide comment when the reformation was mentioned. As in, so glad it happened so we don’t have to be papists (my presence didn’t stop the comment).
@@sueseelie I will be going solo back to Italy leaving on the 12th. I’ve been scouting out churches in the Cinque Terra region for a Sunday morning Mass. Most Catholics I know go to the effort.
I agree with your statement. I have witnessed this countless times within my own protestant family. I just quietly go to mass every Sunday and love every second of it.
@@DarlowMaxwelloh yes. I travel a lot and have pretty much attended mass on every continent. I plan my flights around mass, it's that important 😅 and I Iove love love that there is a Catholic church in almost every corner of the world. The true mega church!
I would like to add that there are plenty of Protestants as well who say they are Christians but don’t live it out. Most believe in all sorts of mortal sins like using contraception, living with someone else, getting “re-married”. So, it’s not just only bad Catholics
Yeah I think sometimea we conflate fire and fruits with raising hands, being emotional during worship, attending all the prayer conferences, speaking in tongues, serving in all the ministries, ... But if I have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal ... I have nothing ... I gain nothing.
If Protestants are disciples full of the Holy Ghost, what are they lacking? What is more? I saw in my protestant years that we were severely lacking! I wasn't a very good disciple for disregarding Christ's church and believing many protestant doctrines that are opposite catholic teaching and authority.
Here I'm 72 listening to changing our Catholic Church to be more protestant. My advice to you is sit in front at church and be with Jesus. The Church has been thru many, many attacks, why do you think so? Because we have the Eucharist, the devil has tried to damage the church since Peter. You, as a new Catholic should just be your best and grow deeper in your Catholic faith, and know you are during the Mass among the Angels, Saints, Souls in Purgatory. Welcome Home, God bless you.
Eastern Syrian Orthodox or Malankara Orthodox Church. Started 52 AD before most of the NT Scriptures were written and long before Catholicism 👍@@essafats5728
Plenty of people digging Catholic church teaching not to find the truth but instead finding false teaching but they end up amaze and found the truth in Catholic christian
A very beautiful testimony, however I feel that it is more than just being able to partake in the “fullness of faith.” In John 6:53 Jesus said, “ unless you eat my body and drink my blood there is no life within you.” in John 6:54-55, He said, “ He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink, indeed. These scriptural quotes are not to be taken lightly . Having said that, I do rightly. Thank you for a great listen!
At 4:22, Justine says, “We’re not anything, we just love Jesus…” That’s her view of Christians, but I think it’s worth taking a moment to reflect on what she’s implying. Justine, that is the very essence of what matters-our love for Jesus. Unfortunately, Catholicism has, in some ways, become a “country club” version of Christianity, where the title or affiliation often overshadows the message itself. All these channels and content posts ultimately mean little when they contribute to dividing Christians and Catholics against one another, and that’s exactly what’s happening here. Jesus Himself said He comes as a sword, but His purpose was never to divide Catholics from Christians; that’s what you are doing. When the focus shifts from the message of Christ to the labels we wear, you’ve lost sight of the heart of our faith.
From my experience of attending a few Protestants church mass I never felt the holy Spirit _ i just felt the joy of having alot of people in one room . It was loud and felt unholy. For me Jesus is precious he is holy he is sanctified _ he is the son of God we must go to church with redemption and repentance _we need to bow our heads and kneel down and worship the only true Son of God. Worshiping Supposed to be quiet ,peaceful and sacred holy . I get that experience in the Catholic Church. I always felt the holy spirit in the Catholic church every time I go whatever versus they speak it feels like those are the verses I needed to hear, just like if God was speaking straight to me. I don't attend every Sunday but when God calls me to go I go. I love being around my Catholic brothers and sisters when i do . i read my bible everyday also pray everything. Catholic love Jesus with all our heart because of his sacrifice of the cross for us and our sin - and gave us the way to be with him threw that . Jesus was always going to be Resurrected . Whether he chose to let us see it or not.
Keith: Consider the Change Agent role of that 1st marriage therapist you went to and the job he was tasked with. 1. A marriage vocation needs to be maintained and strengthened. 2. The wife needs to become supportive of her husband in all holiness enriching activities. If the therapist took your side it would be a battle of 2 against 1 and the wife would become defensive. If the therapist took the wife’s side, then your role as spiritual head of your family would be undercut. What I suspect is he used the technique where the wife would be motivated to come to your assistance. He could not let either of you in on the process because it needed to play out in normal ways. You felt attacked [and were being attacked]. Your description indicated the method of attack was to use a strong but somewhat respectful Protestant projection that included biased hostility to anything Catholic. Bottom line: He did his job well and both you and your wife came out of it with a stronger bond than when you went in. This is just my little student chair view ... and I might be wrong ... but a 'Good' Therapist would not harbor such bias intentionally ... and I believe you said he had been highly recommended. A few prayers of thanksgiving for his work might be appropriate sometime.

Dude, you REALLY need to abbreviate your input ... the interview is NOT about YOU ... Look at your Guest... sometimes she's visibly treading water... and slightly annoyed at having her presentation interrupted. What's WRONG with you? But hay ... her last story was fantastic and my wife teared up as much as you did. What a gift to Ms Callis. Not everyone gets such a great input from the Lord. Outstanding ! Thank You
Yes you’re right, You should know them by their fruits and we do see it in the Catholic Church all the of holy saints who served their god and master and were put to death 🙏❤️ so be holy and follow the one who can transform our lives in the holy Eucharist and unfortunately most so called Catholics they try to serve two masters and our Eucharistic lord Jesus Christ was very clear that you can only serve one master and unfortunately we see this happening inside the true church of Christ and we shouldn’t be surprised because when I see the last supper of the lord I see the Catholic Church and who were them? Disciples of Christ and did all of them were faithful to our lord? No, we had one trader Judas then we had one who dined our lord Jesus 3 times who became the first stone from the church of Christ and we had the others who they left our lord as well accept for jhon who stayed at the foot of the cross with our mother church our heavenly mother Mary the mother of our lord Jesus, well these disciples represents all of us Catholics, some denying our lord over and over, some became traders who left his church and we have the faithful ones who truly served him and now we see them in all the altars of the Catholic churches our beloved saints 🙏❤️😊
two words: epistemological humility (you are NOT entitled to have your 'opinion' against the Church teaching, as witnessed by the Fathers and the Magisterium, because you are not the source of God's revelation)
@@TheCordialCatholic I’m saying that I believe that will bring someone to the faith. Not here to argue…??? I’m so confused. Born and raised catholic bud. I know my faith and church history.

Ok I am sending this to all of my Protestant friends! Thank you so much and welcome home xoxo
Please do!

You guys were open to the calling of God but pray for others who don't want to even listen 🙏 may God bless them and humble their heart ❤
The Catholic Church is the True Mega Church.
Great conclusion 👏 💯

You shouldn't pray to be successful. It will happen if it's meant to. Look up the Litany of Humility.

Are you doing any part of the great commission that Jesus wants you to do and not looking for fame?
St. Joseph, pray for us
Ahh there is another lie that you accepted because someone told you this is what you do. So Romans 15:4 points out that all scripture is an example of how we are to live and what we should believe and here you are asking a dead mortal, alive in the spiritual realm, to do what only God can and does do? 73 books of the bible and not one verse ever hints that you are to pray to anyone else but God !!
Thumbs up just for the Scott Hahn story!!! Amazing story
Thanks for listening!
Nice. About to see the video. God bless. And God bless the HOLY CATHOLIC APOSTOLIC CHURCH. 🔑⛪️🍷🍞🔥📖🕊
Thanks for watching!
Scott Hahn is a former Protestant minister. And a biblical scholar and theologian. He teaches university and is an excellent teacher
I will be praying with you 🙏🏻
Pray the rosary. The mother will help you😊
Almost skipped this episode, so happy I didn’t!
Thank you!
🤎
Very inspirational story. Happy All Saints Day! Welcome home Justine.
That Eucharist book story leading and ending with Dr. Scott Hahn reading your note was awesome! Glory be to God! Thanks for sharing your story Justine! God bless!
I just translated that story into Spanish for a friend of mine in Peru!! I thought it was a story worth passing on!!
On meat and bread:
Abel's offering, Melchizedek's bread, the Passover sacrifice, Bethlehem means house of meat or house of bread, the mana from heaven and the quails in Exodus (note that the mana from heaven is baked into bread and put in the Ark of the Covenant)
Egypt:
Joseph in the old testament keeps the wheat for all to take during the drought, Moses the lawgiver is kept in Egypt to reveal later on to him by God the method of sacrifice due to Him (the Passover, note blood on the doorposts, the blood on the Cross, and the required consumption of the meat),and St. Joseph keeps Jesus in Egypt during Herod's atrocity
On sacrifice:
Abel's offering, Abraham's sacrifice, the Passover. Note that the sacrifice is not complete and not valid without eating the thing sacrificed
On the priesthood:
Priesthood of the first born son (Abel, but note that Abel is not the first born son which is similar to how Isaac is not the first born but the only begotten which makes Cain somehow disowned, also note that Abel makes the more acceptable sacrifice), Melchizedek's priesthood and his bread offering, Jewish priests' Passover offerings. Only priests can offer sacrifices liturgically
All of which culminates on the following:
Jesus's priesthood is in line with the priesthood of Melchizedek
He is the first born Son (note that it doesn't matter if he's the only Son)
He's born in Bethlehem (house of meat/bread)
His proclamation in John 6, the bread of life and the new mana from heaven (as opposed to the eating of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil in Genesis, also note the required eating)
The new Passover sacrifice He teaches during the last super (note that the focus is not on the animal sacrifice but on the bread and wine, and note that only priests can offer the liturgical sacrifice which means He's teaching the Apostles how to do it, also parallel to how God is very specific about how Passover is done in Exodus)
His sacrifice of His own life on the Cross (note the parallel with Abraham)
The Lamb of God in revalation (note that in Genesis Abraham sacrifices a ram with horns tangled in thorns instead of a lamb when God said its a lamb to be offered which is rather strange until we get to Revalation, and also note the crown of thorns on Jesus' head, and also note that since the sacrifice must be consumed had God not stopped Abraham he'd be obliged to eat Isaac)
There's probably more I'm forgetting. To understand these better get the book by Dr. Brant Pitre called Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist
May God bless you on your journey
Wonderful testimony! Getting THAT book from Dr. Hahn was so much something the Lord would and did do.
Just a correction on the bearing of fruits, the Catholic Church is the biggest and most generous charitable organization in the world. When I see the Protestant equivalent of Mother Teresa, then I will concede the issue.
I have only ever been Catholic. I love hearing a convert's point of view. It really wakes us up
Wow how beautiful! THANK YOU
Pray for the intercession from St. Monica. 🙏

Justine, what marvels the Lord has done for you. Indeed, l am glad. Gid bless you abundantly.
Amen, well said!!

"will i let the determination of truth be determined by the behavior of people?" - brilliant
Amazing testimony! Something I find when listening to these stories is a certain not quite jealousy, but why does Jesus not show me these things? But then the thought comes back "because you never doubted" even when I slipped away for various reasons I still never doubted.
I know this feeling of jealousy you are describing. What just came to my mind was what our risen lord said to the Apostle Thomas: "(...) blessed are those who don't see but still believe."
Also, to whom much was given, much will be asked of. I try to trust God knows what I need.

Welcome home Sister. Thank you for sharing your beautiful testimony.😍🤩😇

And in His Church I know He will continue to reveal the eternal nature of its profound glory… …and we can know that’s true because Jesus Christ is doing it; even as we speak and hear each other He is doing it 🙏❤️
Beautiful testimony 🙌 🙏
Thanks for watching!
I'm a Catholic but I do listen to Protestant Preaching , I find God speaks to me in both.
Heartwarming testimony. God really does have a sense of humor, I found out.
This is beautiful at about minute 25-29! Thank you ❤
You're welcome 😊
I am getting tired of the "on fire " mindset. All those Catholics in and out of religious orders who pray the offices and rosary in quiet reverence for thousands of years ain't up the Protestant "on fire" mindset. Maybe Catholics have a quiet, steady burn and don't need to prove anything as Protestants do with their jumping, screaming, and waving their hands around to rock music.
Let's all live consecrated to Our Lady of Humility ❤
There are different ways to be on fire. Deep love for God is what's important.
Yes.
Not all protestant churches have jumping and screaming and rock music. That is incorrect thinking.
We all have different charisms gifted to us by the Holy Spirt. Pray to have yours revealed to you.
I can relate to story so much thanks for sharing Justine
Being protestant is the dating process. Being catholic is the marriage.

I was very busy at the non denomination church getting involved many ministries. After a while I found it to be very distracting . I think it took me away from prayer time.

This interview is very insightful, who is the author of the book mentioned “The Eucharist” I am trying to find it on amazon. Thank you kindly.
Dr. Lawrence Feingold. The book is incredible.
Shalom

Did she mention "Blessed is She" the TMIY (That Man is You) spinoff for women?
Great talk
Yeah I think sometimea we conflate fire and fruits with raising hands, being emotional during worship, attending all the prayer conferences, speaking in tongues, serving in all the ministries,
25:28 right!!!
Amen! Front of the church, always! 👊
That stack of Emmaus Academic books though 👀

Our missing Catholics 🙏

Singing and dancing is not worship. Worship is a sacrifice, it’s the Eucharist.
I fully agree.

But hay ... her last story was fantastic and my wife teared up as much as you did. What a gift to Ms Callis. Not everyone gets such a great input from the Lord. Outstanding ! Thank You
The reformation was not an accident. The church had strayed and is still astray. The church still needs to get back to its first love.
From one institution to another...
