He gets to work with creators that he respects and appreciates, like Guillermo Del Toro and Nicholas Winding Refn, and put more of himself into his work. Hopefully this works out the same way. For example, if Capcom wanted a sequel to Okami, they can get one because Kamiya has been wanting to make a sequel for a very long time. Plus isn’t Kirby and Smash Bros. creator Sakurai not actually a long-term Nintendo employee, instead he's an independent who signs on whenever he feels like it. Japan's music industry works a bit like that. There's a massive number of clubs doing live shows, so bands that tour often end up friends with each other regardless of which company they work for. A lot of bands last about 7 years before they split up, and members then form other bands or work freelance. Some musicians end up being in multiple bands at the same time and even rejoin their old bands if there weren't any hard feelings.

He heard the controversy over Langdon, but unlike others, he actually investigated the situation and concluded it was nothing, thus we got our Dante back. Anyways, I wish Itsuno all the best. Meanwhile, there are still good talent in Capcom, but I am still worried.
Guess the struggle sessions are infecting the Eastern developers now. I remember that GDC slide show of Kim Belair hoping they could influence Capcom and change Megaman to be more inclusive. I am legit frightened for RE9 and the RE: CV Remake.
I think capcom will be fine. Monster Hunter, Resident Evil, and now Street Fighter are all in pretty good hands and those are their money maker IPs. Unfortunately Devil May Cry is my favorite franchise, and now that might be all we get from capcom for a while. Hopefully Itsuno, Kamiya, and Mikami could come together to make a new studio or a project of some sort. And if you are a person who is actually passionate about creating games instead of looking at it as a normal 9-5 job, that is one of the worst things you can do to a person like that. That's why i think the future of gaming or at least good games will be either smaller studios with recognizable names like Itsuno or something new all together. But the current AAA industry with your main guys like EA, Activision, Square, Capcom etc is more than likely done.
