A bit of info about scientific names! They put “sp.” to indicate awareness that the specimen is of the given Genus (e.g., Philodendron) but the distinct species is unknown (or is irrelevant)
TBH: of the ways someone could read that nomenclature, the \sp\ sound seems the least knowledgeable (though I haven’t heard anyone say it before this video)
I have a green chiapense, and a gorgeous hybrid called "Thai Red Anthurium" it is a hybrid of dark crystallin and a magnificent. The Red Crystallinum Anthurium is one I aspire to, but the Thai Red was in my budget, and I got a philodendron snowdrift baby.
Definitely want a red crystallin in the future. It's gorgeous. Your anthurium dark boy I live that too. I just found a gorgeous orchid I am buying tomorrow
Thank you for showing the Delta Force! I was desperately hoping to see one at the Aroid Society show in Miami this year but no such luck. Truly a stunning hybrid. I hope some of the seeds produce true Delta Force offspring.
Chiapense is one of my all time favorite syngonium. It’s just so unique. I love my frosted heart but I’m very excited about the variegated version. Hopefully they become more common and affordable.
They’re starting to appear on Etsy. It’s hard to wait for the price to come down, nut my normal is growing like mad already. There should be some available reasonably this summer. Fingers crossed.
I just wanna say you look adorable in this video !! Your head beside the forgettii is a super cool comparison too!! I’ve never seen the allure UNTIL I saw them this big!!
Kaylee we NEED that video on pruning to maintain or increase variegation. PLEASE. And also a video on crossing philodendrons if you do that? How to collect and save pollen. How to pollinate a female flower. How to encourage blooming. I’d go down that rabbit hole for days with you. 💚💚💚
@@whiskybrush3219 finally someone shares my taste 😅 To me all variegated plants seem "defective". The beauty of the plants of this kind (in my view) in a homogeneous "greenness" and that bright/white pigmentation looks like ugly albino penguin (No offense to penguins).
The new leaf of the Crystallinum is stunning, but i couldn't help but notice the redness of the vains on the older leafs seems all disappeared, which looks no different to a regular Crystallinum. Is that the nature of the Crystallinum Red?
I just ordered 2 seeds of a Red Chrystal X, if they will look half as gorgeous as yours i will be happy ! This will be my second try at growing seeds, my first try a Pappi X was a success. I have now 2 seedlings and one i was able to move into an aroid mix. I can't wait to play more with seeds, i also ordered some Sweet Love(Clarinervium+Pterodactyl) and a Veitchii hybrid. Maybe your shop could also offer seeds in the future, i imagine they might be easier to ship too :D
I want a red crystal sooooo bad!!! It’s soo gorgeoussss! My top wishlist plant easily!! And the one you have there is beautiful!!! It’s going to get so huge and beautiful! It’s so dark and velvety😻
9:33 Kaylee, pp. stands for "species" and it comes with plants for which the genus is known (e.g. monstera) but the exact species is not known, named pr specified (e.g. monstera sp. peru - means it's known it's a monstera from Peru but the exact name was not given yet)
Hello Kaylee great update, love those anthoriums got my first one Sunday last reasonably sized also thanks for all you've done and still doing educating the plant lovers and collectors
Which one do you guys think would do best? The Burle Marx varigated, Florida Beauty varigated or Golden Dragon varigated, they are in the same look but I can only maintain about 55% humidity in Alaska before totally icing my windows
I always thought the dark form of forgetii was a hybrid and true forgetii is round, with no dip for a sinus. My ‘pure’ forgetii is unusually dark and has a small dip in the sinus like yours. I think by that size they should be fully round and yours looks like some sort of complex hybrid with Crystallinum. I might be wrong but most ‘pure’ Anthurium in cultivation are hybrids. You can’t even get a pure Crystallinum anymore
Bonjour !
So happy to see the syngonium chiapense in the video! one of my favorite plants, I only have the green version but someday I would love both the yellow and white variegated ones as well.
I love your videos!!!! I never comment but I really like your videos and all the work you put on them!!! Just one big question… ARE WE GOONG TO BE ABLE TO BUY YOUR FERTILIZER in the USA?! Tell me the answer is yes!!!! Please! 😊
I would really like to know if the philodendron dragon variegata is stable. Right now, there are So many cuttings flooded on etsy, i am wondering if this white occurs by some chemical treatment...
Aah! Wow, what a beautiful plants. That crystallinum. The philodendron golden dragon. What is the coldest temperature that the studio goes down to ? Just curious what you keep them at generally. Thanks Kayleigh 🪴❤️
Maybe the last forgetti could be a hybrid called anthurium velvet mask? it is a cross between a forgetti and i believe a papillilaminum so that might explain the veins and the colour.
Hey Kaylee I was wondering what do you do for pest control? My collection has had a huge infestation of thrips and now spider mites… idk what to do it is literally out of control ??

Wow!! That Anthurium Crystallinum Red looks like a Futuristic Plant. Im Drooling 😱🤩🤤

I’ve always seen Crystallinum Red for sale but I did not know it could get that red! Now I feel that that is a NEED 😳
Why is everyone so obsessed with variegated plants?
I dont get it either. Why would i want variegation to pull away from that spectacular veining that displays best in green?
@@whiskybrush3219 finally someone shares my taste 😅 To me all variegated plants seem "defective". The beauty of the plants of this kind (in my view) in a homogeneous "greenness" and that bright/white pigmentation looks like ugly albino penguin (No offense to penguins).
That forgetii is bloody gorgeous 😍 they are my absolute favs. In fact all of these are just absolutely breathtaking... That red crystal 😯
Ahh that eyeshadow color is it omg!! ❤❤❤

Oooh these plants! 😍 great video, love your makeup! Also I think you would look awesome with your septum pierced!

The last plant sp velvet is absolutely glorious.
Ahhh the burle marx mint looks so good! Thanks for the update- I’ve been wondering how it’s been growing for you! ❤️
The lighting is honestly soooo good! I was wondering what was different 😂

I've had random pink foliage on some of my philodendrons before, I believe it's due to sun stressing and it generally goes away
Yes , I have a couple Red Crystals and the new leaves are gorgeous red but they do change to green 🫣could be I'm doing something wrong though
@@rmarvel169 as long as it's healthy, you're doing just fine!
Ugh girl love the red eye shadow. Thank you for the updates!!! Much love ❤
I love that burle Marx “mint”! I love the variegation of a paraíso verde but hate the growth pattern. Much prefer that BM - def on the wishlist 😍
Oh that forgettii is sooo gorgeous, I want one the same size!!! and that syngonium chiapense variegata is just so lovely! Wishlist sorted!
The last plant looks a lot like my forgetti x ace of spades. Very, very similar.

Aah! Wow, what a beautiful plants. That crystallinum. The philodendron golden dragon.
What is the coldest temperature that the studio goes down to ? Just curious what you keep them at generally. Thanks Kayleigh 🪴❤️
The unknown looks identical to my philodendron jacquinii! Though obviously mine is the plain green form. That is GORGEOUS!
Maybe the last forgetti could be a hybrid called anthurium velvet mask? it is a cross between a forgetti and i believe a papillilaminum so that might explain the veins and the colour.
I was thinking that, too 🙂
Honestly the Philodendron Burle Marx 'Mint' reminds me a lottttt of Philodendron 'Paraiso Verde'!!
that was awesome, i love that last black Anthurium
Great vid!
Beautiful collection, Kaylee Ellen! ❤️
Amazing update! Obsessed with your forgettiii !!! 😍
I think Sp Velvet could be a hybrid of dark forgetii and dressleri or Papillilaminum. 🤔
So many amazing plants 😊😍
Do you still have the variegated vittarifolium? Update?
My philodendron brasil comes in pink ...makes sense to me:)
I love what you share with us .
Gorgeous!! What do you use to feed them?
