I forgot how atmospheric the first season of this game is. During this episode, when you're inside the drug store, you really do feel like you're in that situation. Zombies are outside the door, it's dark outside, everyone is whispering their lines to avoid alerting the walkers...It's a shame telltale is gone.

Games are generally better than shows/movies because A) your actions have consequences and B) the interaction with the world is something that just can't be achieved with movies. That's why I believe that video games having a movie adaptation is a bad idea. Movies can't capture the essence that video games can.

The thing is nobody knew what was happening. At that time it was something on the scale of 9/11 or the aftermath of a storm but more dangerous. No one really thought it was the apocalypse.
Revisiting this episode cause I remember when I was 13 years old, I used to watch this like 2-3 times whenever I was bored.

That’s funny- I remember watching these when I was 21 back when I first got into UA-cam & now I’m… Jesus- a whole decade older. Back then, before streaming services were so mainstream & I wasn’t going to spend my whole paycheck on cable, these videos were a lifesaver.

Just played that episode. Life would’ve went better if Lee had never fallen asleep after telling Clementine they can’t stop to find her parents.
I wish Lee apologized to Clementine when he yelled at her when she simply told him that she had to pee; speaking of which, I think she peed her pants when that walker came out of the lavatory.

She is. But the people who live in NZ, I've noticed, seem way smarter than American kids. Or maybe that's just in the movies, because NZ kids are pretty smart and not stuck up like most teenage girls, or that nerdy emo thing.

First of all, the game and the show are two separate continuities. Second, FTWD has plenty of interesting characters. They're just not quite as memorable

I remember watching this in Oct 2012. This video was my introduction to the Telltale Walking Dead characters and I was instantly hooked. It was such a great walkthrough and it honestly left a deep impact on me.
Does anyone else realize that Shawn was in Hersels barn in the TVshow. And that Lee and them probably showed up before rick and the others. That's why Hershel was so hesitant to let them on his land at first after what happened to Shawn.
Yeah I saw that when I saw the series....I was hoping I could save shawn but I couldn't, I saved duck instead and Kenny and his family consider me a friend.

Yeah I do know that too, course I never liked her. I also recently bought season two of this game series. LIlly if I remember correctly is saved by that sword wielding woman later in the series. I think shes no different than her own father a selfish and arrogant person. I like Glenn though I think hes cool. Course I never cared for Herschel....that bastard keeping his son in his barn after he turned....That little girl was in there too....how could he do that, I never saw the purpose of keeping zombies in a friggin barn. Its not like he could reverse what had happened to Shawn and the others. When I saw that girl in the barn I was like wtf? They were all looking for her and she had evidently been bitten and turned. What Rick and the others did I applaude, Herschel definitely went off the deep end..

I don't know what your talking about but I still think this game is ok but man that lilly....Also I never knew what actually happened in the beginning of the series. Its kinda neat to see how it all went down up until rick and the others showed up. Overall the game play is complicated but it is fun and does make me shiver when I play it.

I made a bet with my girlfriend. She doesn't play video games, but I convinced her to play this since it's more about story telling. I bet her $40 that she wouldn't get through this without crying. She cried during the blindside so I think I'm gonna win.

I was absolutely HOOKED to this game! I'd play for hours a day, and I can't put into words how amazing it is. You get so attached to the characters, so attached to Lee, to Clementine, and I was literally in tears during the ending.
This is so good. We finally get to see what happened behind the Sheriff's side of the story.

This game is so good! I love it. It gives me nightmares sometimes because of the zombies ( I get scared easily) but still one of my favorite games
Oh okay now I understand why people hate that idiot Duck. Its because he ran over Shawns foot with the tractor which obviously had an effect. Shawn obviously started screaming in pain which began to draw the attention of nearby and hidden walkers. Then Shawn got bit and brutally eaten and died... only for a couple of moments of course. Stupid Duck. Poor Shawn :/
Yeah, well when you think about it, it's kind of Shawn's fault. He's the one who let the kid on the tractor.

Gloria Kohli Yeah, exactly. If it had been Clementine on that tractor, no one would've really blamed her. People only blame Duck because he was "annoying" where as I thought he was just funny. So, yeah. He's just a kid, you can't blame him. If you want to blame someone (besides Shawn) blame Hershel for not having that fence put up faster, or the walkers that suddenly came out of freaking no way and ate poor Shawn. Anyway I think I'm getting myself too worked up over a game... Oh and about Ben..uh.. nah. I can't think of anything nice to say about him. At the start where he first came in, I was like, "Alright! New characters! He's not exactly tough looking, but it's okay. He's just a boy and he's scared." Yep, and then when we (me and my cousin) found out he was the one who was giving supplies to the bandits, we were like, "god dammit, Ben!" But we weren't exactly hating his character. However, when he and Clem were surrounded by walkers, and he just left her there to save his own skin. That's when I knew Ben wasn't a trustworthy person. Scared or not, he's a stupid teenager. And all my liking's to Ben drifted away. Sorry, but I don't like no one in this game that puts my Clementine in danger. Bell tower, jumping over a fence to get to the other house, he had to die sometime. Although, when I saw his death it did make me sad a little because I chose to save him. (I'm no dick) yet it didn't matter in the end, he died anyway. So It kind of got me angry that my choice meant nothing. And not only that, but Kenny had to freaking go down there and save him! *sigh* Not that this matters, he would have either gone to save Ben or Christa. Well... so, yeah. When Ben died, I didn't stay sad for long. I had to focus on the mission. Save my girl! Besides, I was more sobbing over the fact that I lost Kenny. Ah well, I had to look on the bright side. Two less mouths to feed.

You cant just expect her to be brave enough to run up towards zombies to hand ammo she didnt even know existed. Yes she does get allot more brave and adapt a hell of allot quicker than most children her age *COUGHCOUGHDUCKCOUGHCOUGH*, but in that scene the outbreak had just /barely/ happened
