This guys fix everything, there’s nothing impossible for them to work on, my respects for all of them.
This is a professional at work.
When you see that we can operate a lathe here in our Sunday best and what they do there with very old lathes, I take my hat off to you.
I have a lot of respect for these types of professionals because that's what they are, really old professionals.
Putting a lathe in a small space and doing this kind of work is craftsmanship at its best. Much respect for this man.
True Craftsman working with what he has.
Looks like a genius cobbled it once before
That boom was pushed beyond its SWL and that figure is even less now. Same again next week lads?.
Nothing better than rusted salvaged ship steel lol
Nothing CHEAPER, actually. "Good enough", rust can be removed, it doesn't affect the steel underneath, right? Remember, they're doing all this on a shoestring, and a rather short one in fact. So...
Brilliant job .
Phenomenal work! all in a backyard metal shop, but obviously aware of the importance of accurate measurements (without any digital tools), as the frequent use of calibers shows. Well Done sir
thanks for appreciating
they are caliPers.
Very good video. Very beautiful machine. A thank you to you. It's great that everything is fixed. Great channel I like it very much.very good mechanic, Thank you very much for that💐🤘🌆🎉❤
Thank you too!
Great work lads , next time put a rag in the Boss holes to stop weld spatter getting in . good repair .
Good tip!
Excelente trabalho.
thanks
U like it..
Super jest to skrzdło żurawia odrestaurowane pozdrawiam serdecznie 👍👍👍👍
thanks
This man has great skill
Look at the machine and material he has to work with. WOW.😊
Keren banget
A vederlo fare sembra tutto facile. Invece è difficilissimo. Siete dei maestri. Complimenti. Amen
thats the work i do ... you are right it was not an easy job but i have done with my skills and aim to the work hard
Keren banget mesinnya 5:02
They must roll the parts around in the sand so that the grease sticks better!! They may be poor but can't they afford a bench or two, just to keep their work up off the ground?
The final installation of the base plate should have longer, where the new plate goes beyond the repair basically the load on the stick with the bucket will be right where the base plate joins and will be its weakest point. Has it failed since?
You guys are AMAZING...nice work
thanks
Have to say for some people criticising on this repair. You got everything in your country. Very fortunate. These boys are doing good work with what they got. There's a lot of people doing the same to keep shit running all over the world.😁❤
thanks alot for support
VERY IMPRESSIVE 👍
Belo trabalho, saudações, Brasil
Brilliant work!!!
Thanks a lot!
Amazing!!!
Excellent travail 👍👍👍

Augúri billlissimi lavouro 👏👏👏👏👍🤝💖🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇮🇹🇮🇹
Cover it in some paint and send it back out!!!
In America, we could learn alot from your resourcefulness & team work
yeah then viral my videos in america😝
Just great work
so called nice work
thanks for appreciating
Like goodjob
máy này chính hãng không shop
juxt imagine if the workshop may also at the europion standerd
You didn’t use the zig zag joint to join the repair part to the old arm. Mistake.
ho would u weld that part with damage an too many welded stick
good job
Can we see the hour meter on that machine?
You want it bad. You'll get it bad.
The worse you want it, the worse you'll get it.
cheep, cheep, mister...
big like
well they got thier monies worth out of that pin didnt they
thats right
What gets me is who would wear a joint so bad that it tore out like it did..no grease, nothing
No ..the pin got their money's worth
😊😊😊😊
@interestingmechanics00 😮😊😊😊😊

No bushings? Do they fit?
we have placed the bushing in it and also done the paint but could not capture the video...
Amazing work! :o)
we can do it ...
Pakistan gitu loo....
Nice! Great crafts work. Open shoes and a ruler. Stay safe.
would you like my work
Open shoes and a ruler. And?
Brilliant work! Would love to be able to weld like that.👍☘️
we live in 2023 just for lake of resources we do this type of work ... in 1st world countries this type of repairs may not occur
they must have a shortage of Portland cement in India as well as work boots
¿ Y el refuerzo al brazo ?
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Good job.
And of course this repair comes with backlight-warranty for only a handfull rupees more.
👏 for you this is not an actual repir may be in others openion but this is done for the only low coat budjet and i charged only 120$ for it... thats it
I give it 6 weeks before the welds break, 😊
i have repaired it before 6 months and it is in working since then
You're very generous, Sir... ;-)
No Paint?
thats the painter's job .
OlhNa errado vc esqueceu faltando ferro dentro soldado ué kkk
the proper work has done here some clips of work are missing in video due to editing..
it works properly and perfectly in running machine if possible i will snd u a video of it in working condition
That's a good pin I need the company name the pin did not fail the boss did lol
e6013 electrods
no no not at all electrodes have been used at it for welding purposes
This is all old ship steel and junk foundry steel. It hasn’t the strength of new steel, using junk to fix junk.
👍
Ha yahshi jamoa
You can see these people wear sandals to work for this job, very unsafe, no sense for safety at all
I’m sure these people are doing the best with what they can afford. Maybe you could bring some sense and safety to them by donating a pair of steel toe work boots and proper safety equipment?
Probably the owner might be saying it is the mechanic fault and the mechanic might be saying it is something else !!!!!!!🤫but the truck knows the true !!!!!!🔴🫢🤫
As a retired welder and fabricator, this is NOT how to repair a worn pin and a torn bushing. By cutting off the end, you have created a weak area in the boom
that will break. This type of repair comes from the lack of training and common sense. It's pitiful.
u may a retired welder but i m in service we know our job very well and do guranted work for client we created inside supports for weak area just not shown in the videos ... in our country we have good worth in our field
if u don't appreciate plz don't criticise 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@interestingmechanics00
It still is a weak part no matter how you want to talk your way around it. Steel for the construction industry, especially batched for its application. The steel you used came from a scrapped tanker from India. You have no idea where it came from or how it is alloyed. We have a saying in the USA, 'you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink'.
You are a perfect example.
Totally agree with you. It will break again. Asked my uncle who is a professional in this field and he also said it will not hold.
These guys are retrained donkey surgeons.
First thought they had, was to give this boom the coup de grace, but it failed.
look at all the experts
Who have to do your best with what you have to work with, not everyone has the money or resources.
Genius at work there ain't none here remove and replace how bout that???
how u say it that was not an easy job
this is the team work may b in your opinion i m not a genius...
Can you imagine someone operating that machine to wind up looking like that? Shame, Shame!!
Wow the one who don that has no bussines to be near machinery...
it may possible in your opinion
3:16 this stick was already repaired like this before?? They don't have grease there??
yeah it was repaired already but was too much bad work done there
Paint it yellow….
yeah thats was the painter's job so i don't
Pisbakken staal!
jxt shut up
Wow that pin is wore out and the pivot point is wow..Looks like the has been bad for a long time.. Sad operator just used it so long that it broke..Operator should be fired for just wreaking expensive equipment.. But lucky you have a great machinist here.. Very good a restoration. As this piece of beyond repair.. nive to see this man work.. great at what he does too. Nice video..
_"Operator should be fired for just wreaking expensive equipment"_ - I guess the operator (a waged worker) was told by the boss/ supervisor to "work this horse till he dies", and so he did. Sadly, it's a common practice, or attitude there - for instance, a truck is not "overloaded" as long as its axles don't break...
use of wrong tools
what kind of tools should i use tell me
You never cut it straight , it should of been cut of like a Z so there is more weld and less chance of it cracking in the weld with all the force, I thought you knew better than that,
you are right it will b more reliable if i cut it in z shape
but i have welded supports in it thats not showen in the video clips
"Most Satisfying a Genius Man Can Do it Easily" is a dumb name.
Says telephone bill?
suggest a title for this video
@@interestingmechanics00 boss chipmunks save the day
Damn chipmunks invaded this otherwise interesting video! Thumbs down and I'm gone...
Typical American’s 🤦♂️ only can hide behind the computer or phone and comment negative comments 😢
