Thanks so much Russ. I had seen Valeria’s products promoted on other channels but as usual Path Less Pedalled found a way to go that extra mile and interview her in person. I think this second era of Brompton under Will Butler Adams has some serious philosophical insights that matches Russ’s worldview. WBA identified that Brompton’s major competition was bikeshare and e-bikes and Brompton’s competitive advantage was that their product complemented the discerning city and utilitarian cyclist who wanted a product they could treasure rather than app enabled subscription service where the hardware was throwaway. Bravo Russ, Valeria and WBA!
What I like most about PLP is that over the years Russ and Laura have exposed me to different aspects of cycling that isn't carbon fiber competition racing oriented. I have learned so much about Brompton bicycles from videos like this one. I love it. I also love that Valeria stores and displays inventory in an antique China Closet!
All this brompton coverage and I'm starting to wonder if I'm being left out of something. Cool little shop and lady here. We'll keep it in mind should I ever accidentally come home with a brompton. Cheers. 👍

Must be a good ‘fad’ since 1975. I bought my H6R, B-spoke, in 2012. Easily the best bike I’ve ever bought and ridden the most: 11,685 miles and counting.

I like that collapsable travel case for the brompton. Looks like it solves the leave the airport by bike issue like you mention.

The simworks mowmow bar is super nice for the brompton. It’s just 25.4 clamp size so lots of options from nitto

I have JK handlebars. Much better than the stock ones. As stated they sweep in slightly and are wider.
