Travelling for a week to grief a base in minecraft - now that is some next level of no-life

And it sucks if that happens to your base, but it is to be expected on an anarchy server. It would be quite naive to assume that people would leave you alone by pure dint of your base.

I think builders of 2b2t are the most "civilized", if griefers want to destroy something and replace a majestic build by a primitive lava cast, just do it on villages in solo, idk.

The thing that makes Mu's demise all the more precious is the fact that the real Mu from mythology is theorized to have become Atlantis after it sunk in the Pacific Ocean, which makes the watercube method of preservation into the most perfect coincidence possible.
i feel like if they knew enough about the continent to build a copy, they chose that method on purpose.

Truth be told, if you can do something massive enough to warrant a visit from someone who's practically god in the server, you can hardly get mad about the resource being lost, they likely gather the remaining materials and continue working once the awe was over, only remembering "God has arrived" rather than "Our supplies are gone"

Really like how they griefed the hell out of the land just to build something so impressive, then flooded it just to spite the griefer that was coming to grief the base. Also fitting for it to be damaged only a little to have a weathered look too, looking like an ancient place that had been abandoned for ages. Fits the server it was built in.

The thing is that they didn't want a World Download, at least that is what I assume. In 2B2T, all things must eventually go and you cannot remain too attached to anything so, they flooded the base to keep it there and Moved On to probably even greater projects. It's the just bizarre nature of 2B2T and why it's such an amazing place.

Damn, im so happy and impressed at the survival of Mu. The precautions taken at the start of the build and the end allows it to live on and be the greatest thing achieved on 2b2t. There are so many amazing bases that get destroyed, im glad this one managed to mostly avoid it

I have never-ever played on 2bt2. But I have such mad respect for all the historical bases that have been created there that we have seen through your videos! These bases are so special. Kinda gives you a love-hate relationship for 2b2t knowing you could make something so special and then someone on a whim will just blow it to hell
i hate griefers as much as the next person. but something about griefing just makes 2b2t so much more interesting. it documents the phases of 2b2t, and the many different bases that have risen and fallen. without the destruction of them we wouldn't be able to fully appreciate them. something like how we as humans we love visiting ancient ruins because that's what makes it fascinating, not everything being prim and proper. bases being griefed is like the natural life cycle of bases and should not be seen as a waste of the builders' hard work, but instead, as a permanent memorialisation of it, as the ruins and coordinates are now freely available to all to finally see it in person.

DocMeta is right, duped items make it no different than a creative project. The dupes being present in survival is not a valid argument to legitimize it.

The fact that he used an exploit to purposely to get into well known good builders accounts just to grief is sad
it's part of the server and its the risks people know they're taking when playing the server, probably makes it feel more rewarding when you can build something of this scale because you always are having to worry about griefers

Also people aren't just sad to see the base get destroyed, rather it is sad to see someone's only means of gratification is by destroying, in a game that rewards building.

Theres nothing sad about the destruction of this base, because it hasn't actually been destroyed it's been memorialized
The effort that went into building this base is not even a noticeable fraction of a percentage of all the effort that minecrafters have ever put into making creations that went completely unnoticed by anyone else. Maybe on a server that shut down, or locked away on a hard drive never to be opened again
This is the story of a base which could have been lost to time instead making it's way into the public eye and memory
That being said, there is something sad about the minds of griefers lol, or lackthereof
