Although I love that ‘lush, orchestral, Big Band’ Sound on his Albums-I’ve always thought-for Live Performances-his Vocals are sooooo much better-when there isn’t a lot going in the background. Whenever the Music gets loud-he has to sing in a way that makes his voice louder; The problem is-that’s the exact opposite-of how he naturally sings. And, although it might seem counterintuitive-Your voice often has _’less power/volume’_ when you try to sing with more power/volume. He’s basically screaming these notes… yet he can barely be heard… 1:49:10 But, for _these_ notes-He’s singing with very little effort… yet, listen to how much fuller they sound 1:41:25
