@@BASIN_NATION Im just happy to see this so all the people that were talking crap about some weird falling out between you guys can finally shut up! LOL
Love seeing the customized Knapheide bed. I work at an install center near the main manufacturing plant installing similar electrical components that you guys did but on crane steel body’s! Sick build!
When I was at Sparks Motors we bought trucks from I drive to give away… I wouldn’t really call those builds. They were cheap wheels and tires with a leveling kit… this is a 100% custom build. Stay tuned
For moving large equipment you need to locate small dollies that they called gators. At least in Ohio that’s what we call them. Low profile rotate 360 and can handle the weight. Make sure that you leave your pressbrake off the wall minimum 3 feet you’ll need that room to go behind and be able to work. A four-way die for the bottom is also useful that way you’re not replacing or changing dies all the time.
Certainly looks like you guys have got your hands full with this build. I don’t know if you know this or not but if you put a little WD 40 on your sanding disc they won’t load up so much with aluminum. Just a little money saver for the grinding discs.
Excellent video Kole! It's great to see everything coming together and I'm glad you've still got a good relationship with Dave. I've still got to catch up on the Wizards episode that you feature in! How's Bud doing with his commercial licence?
Bud is so dang busy now we hardly see him. Super happy for him and the moves he has made in life. We have a great relationship with Dave and the rest of the crew… we have a bunch of stuff planned with them. Can’t wait to show you
From my experience with aluminum boats - you want to isolate that fuel cell from the steel cradle. Dissimilar metals. The fuel cell will pit/corrode really badly in short order, especially if HeavyD uses it in any kind of salt rich environment like the Salt Lake (or road salt).
5:35 It shouldn’t bother me as much as it does but here goes: To dampen means to wet. To damp is to decrease the amplitude of an oscillation by resistive forces. The correct terminology as it applies to shock absorber technology is damping, not dampening.

On your plasma cutter, you should cut the inner shapes and holes before the exterior contour. You will have a better precision and finish on your cutting.
Aaron built most of the cool stuff you’d see on diesel brothers. They have a long relationship of building together… it’s going to keep happening!! Stay tuned
Thanks!! We have spent a lot of time making content. Aaron was on diesel brothers, I produced the Sparks Motors channel for a long time and out camera guy is very experienced… expect great content :)
Sam looks different then his first time to the Jack knife /Sparks Group. Or? Is he not the one who got polish all over his face from polishing the John Wayne Tribute Truck's bumper?
@@philiphill5454 you are aware that there are a myriad of options between overbearing music and complete silence………right? 🤯 Don’t be dense😑. The music was very aggressive as well as being unbearably LOUD during some of the transitions and non narrated work sequences. The purpose for background music is for it to be IN THE BACKGROUND. It should be complimentary to the video, but it certainly shouldn’t be so loud that it’s drawing attention away from what’s important….the video. It should be a little something so that there isn’t silence, but it should blend in so well that it almost isn’t noticeable. It shouldn’t be drawing attention to itself nor should it be the same volume as the actual dialogue during parts of narration.
The D man too busy flying his toy copters around and butchering recoveries to make his own videos and build his own trucks now? Subbing out the work LOL....plz start subbing out the recoveries
Hmmmm I wonder who’s truck your building???? Oh well you have to wait til later n you’ll tell us…..ummm duhhhh already knew before I watched the video.. cause ummm duh the title to video is building a truck for heavyDsparks. I dont understand how it was a mystery til the end a you said who’s it was for. Next time you wanna wait til you tell us later in the video do put it as the thumbnail lmao
Glad to see this is NOT a heavy d video. I had to unsubscribe after years of following them. It only became about how rich he was and how much money he could spend on himself. I don't f-cking care about HIM. Keep up the good content and don't go Hollywood. This is my first time to see you guys. I will sub. and watch...... until...
Always nice to have an overhead crane in shop.
Makes things pretty slick
Great seeing PPE used, Good example for those watching (kids)
Those welds on the fuel sell are amazingly beautiful and perfect
I will pass this along to Aaron.
Man I wish that was my service truck!
Very nice job on Heavy D's truck will look great when you are done.
Last video Sunday!! Hopefully we can get it done
great job again.
Thanks for watching!!

Awesome that Heavy D using Carli best suspension out there. Got it on my ram Cummins 3500 guys at CJC top notch. Great build from you guys .
Beautiful truck. I know iDrive Utah Trucks has done some builds for Dave in the past. Glad he brought this build to you guys instead.

I don’t ever comment, nor care too. But this build is way too cool not too! Awesome work guys! I always wanted something like this!
Thanks for watching!! We love this truck
Hunter sent me your way!
I'm pretty sure on that press play you can get an updated version of control panel that's more friendly
We will look into it! Thanks for watching
I like to see you and Matt off road recovery team up in one of your shows
We would love to build with Matt’s off road. King of Hammers Collaboration??
Sweet ride
It’s going to be a great truck for Dave

Nice

This is sick. Sell that Basin merch!
Coming in hot!! Stay tuned Mr. Kingbee
Next on JACKKNIFE MOTORS, @HeavyDSparks needs a race truck so they buy a matching rebel and run the Carli Unchained kit
We have a matching Rebel🙋🏻♂️

Heavy needs another truck
have to put fuel in the back because if I remember right only has a 28gal tank.

They are separated with a rubber lining
If you think that rides well. Try out the 2024 GMC Serria 2500 AT4 X

Good point.
Spill the beans? His name is in the video tittle lol. Nice truck
Sorry I ruined the surprise.
Why isn't heavy D doing his own build? Isn't that what he is known for!
Aaron built most of the cool stuff you’d see on diesel brothers. They have a long relationship of building together… it’s going to keep happening!! Stay tuned
Is their any reason to not use the titan spare tire tank that just bolts in.
The titan tank is an auxiliary fuel tank, not a transfer tank
We have 44 gallons with this tank. Ground clearance is better for departure angle with this tank and we wanted a custom tank.
👍👍
I appreciate the thumbs
It took Dave less than 3 seconds to say why Jackknife was building the truck.
Thanks for watching. Next EP we really get into the build with Sparks

Why are the tires so small tho
I’m shock Heavy D is not the one fixing it
Aaron and Heavy D have built a lot together.

Sounds like you have some drama 🤷🏻♂️
Sounds like a bad blank truck build.
Hardly… just wait
