That's not why he left. It was a mutual split according to both parties. They wanted to pursue a more traditional deathcore sound, and Jason wanted to this.
Woah, he actually plays Jacky Vincent's part on Breaking Damnation in this, awesome! Usually when I see guitarists play through a guest solo they just improvise something else, but he actually tried to get as close to the recording as possible, and that is really cool.
played for 20 years kid so that assumption is wrong. Sorry that i triggered you in the basement, make sure to be quiet so mommy doesnt find out you're online again.
MrMisterMan in no way am I saying that Jason Richardson is better, but anything Becker played, I'm positive that Richardson could could play. you may not like his music, but you can not deny his skill. without a doubt, he's one of the best guitarists of this era.
i doubt it. Even marty friedman said becker could learn on the fly. His ability to master a style was uncanny and he could do it in such a small amount of time that he was pretty much a prodigy in the guitar community. Again im not saying jason has no skill or less talent than becker but you cannot deny that jason becker was above and beyond most guitarists, his only real competition was shawn lane who was also able to master styles and techniques easily and also played multiple instruments.
MUSIC MAN JP15-7ST BFR Buckeye Burl Maple LTD that's the guitar Jason's using. And as far as I can tell you can only possibly get your hands on one from a Japanese website. The Music-Man website didn't even carry the color. Maybe it's a custom color that you just have to pay extra for. I don't know. I just thought I'd share the information for anyone who was curious about the guitar he was using.
After seeing some videos of Jason, I would say without hesitation that Jason Richardson and Tosin Abasi are probably the best guitar players in the whole fucking world right now
Bob Larry Tosin is just a beast He can shred the shit out of his 8 strings and suddenly go to clean tone and also tap the shit out of his 8 strings Some can do that but the way Tosin writes the music is amazing
I love how his compositions and riff don't make sense compared to the Mark's compositions with genial chords and arrangements... Mark just don't need to shred to be better in my opinion
TerryMusic haha. well isnt that ironic. just cant get into it. just cant. great tone. great rhythm but the lead stuff is so much uber fret wanking it ruins it for me.
Masters of Non-Xistence Please tell me more about how you have mastered sweep picking and sweep taps and have resorted to slower playing to better express your emotions. I sure as hell cant.... at least not right now but fuck dude. This guy is talented and his arpeggiated sequences and sweeps and shred sections are tasty af. Nothing against you personally but cmon man....
the many notes in a second thing... Jason could do that back when he was in high school with a emo looking haircut... What he does today is on a whole other level; you obviously didn't pay enough attention to this music if this comment is the first thing that came to your mind when you watch him play.
bellmeisterful That's very common among very technical players. Having your guitar hanging lower than your balls is handicapping yourself significantly.
I don't think I've seen another guitarist who can play such insane music so flawlessly, so consistently. Sick.
He can't find a band with the work ethic he has man. He is dedicated to the fullest.
Chaz M no kinda it but not fully.
declairWAR595 I dont mean to be negative, i just feel that for him to commit to a band is going to take some real professionals, understandably so..
ChazOfGod he left Chelsea grin to peruse his own endeavors he can totally be in a band if he wanted to.
Vanish EditZ he left chelsea grin because they suck.
That's not why he left. It was a mutual split according to both parties. They wanted to pursue a more traditional deathcore sound, and Jason wanted to this.
This guy is a genius.
a genius? lol not even
Knosis of boredom.
actually 30 year old half and half from new york. nigga! own appartment too. lemme know when you need that tuition check sent out to the jelly school.
So you're a suburban white kid too misterman
Cuz if I remember clearly
You called me a sand nigga in the other video
How hypocritical xD
And lol
Chris just shit on you
Breaking Damnation is easily my favorite song of the album. I always wanted to see him play it.
Woah, he actually plays Jacky Vincent's part on Breaking Damnation in this, awesome! Usually when I see guitarists play through a guest solo they just improvise something else, but he actually tried to get as close to the recording as possible, and that is really cool.
Watching Jason play guitar gives me high blood pressure he looks so tense!
Steven Wood he said he does have a bad problem of tension when I got VIP with him at a BoO show
Fact: Jason puts more effort and bravado into his chugging than every fraternity that's ever existed combined...get it...chug...tehe
Great looking guitar, wish I could hear him.
Use headphones.
that titan solo part is not for a mortal
Fr tho, that shit will take me years to get down and even then it might not even get remotely easier to do
Splendid!
awesome! Thanks a lot for posting this, Jonathan. much appreciated!
that titan solo is the most badass thing ive ever seen hes GOAT
go watch jason becker and then come back and say that
MrMisterMan lol youre too much idiot kid. you cant even play guuitar. all you know is watch your boyband. so fuck off.
played for 20 years kid so that assumption is wrong. Sorry that i triggered you in the basement, make sure to be quiet so mommy doesnt find out you're online again.

My eyes have carpal tunnel.

Sterling ball made that only for Jason.
the audio quality is beyond amazing
i see hands on fire!! such a incredible performance Jason!
This dude is really good.
this guy is super clean, it almost sounds fake, even on a camera recording audio from other sources around the room it seems.
Is this the guy that Tosin Abasi said is "annoyingly good"?
yes it is
After seeing some videos of Jason, I would say without hesitation that Jason Richardson and Tosin Abasi are probably the best guitar players in the whole fucking world right now
+Luis Calvo Tosin definitely is. Some have mixed emtions about Jason though. Im a drummer but I appreciate the talent .
Bob Larry Tosin is just a beast
He can shred the shit out of his 8 strings and suddenly go to clean tone and also tap the shit out of his 8 strings

+Luis Calvo Yeah was just watching Tosins NAMM videos from last year.
awesome richard !!!!!
Its so genius..
And good player guitar i like.
uhhhh....life goals....
Anddddd I quit guitar this dude is insane
Make me feels like im in a story of a world with dragons and nights
This is tighter than the G-string.
This guy kicks ass! I've never heard of him but this stuff is cool :D Too bad the mix is kinda muddy :/
Mika Tarkela you can find his album Jason Richardson "I" on iTunes and google play. it's also available for streaming on UA-cam.
Robot-like precision
Good right hand technique.
ever heard takayoshi ohmura?
@@mkzvl8081 ??
here i see how a jp signature sounds like in heavy metal ... and it does djent!
This isn't a JP. It's a cutlass that became his signature
@@The_Crooked_Path Noo...it is a JP 15 with similar finish to his signature guitar.
@@The_Crooked_Path it’s a jp15 with a similar finish
Ohhh man...
is what he played on Spotify?
nah he said in a quote fuck spotify
awe like seriously I wanted this so badly
hi ya just buy his solo album, its worth it 100%, spotify fucks over smaller artists
PvTNuclear thx didn't know I could get it on play store
It is now
This should be a drum video. It very faintly sounds awesome though.
they need to seal off those demo areas at namm, or schedule times or something.
fuck so good
guessing he was the best guitarist there lol
steve vai and john petrucci were there too, as well as jeff loomis.
yeah there where a ton of incredible guitarists there, didn't even realize that lol, Jason is still a fucking monster though!
I've got one of the black and red Syn Customs too, definitely my favorite guitar.
Raymond Solorio also Paul Gilbert
HE WAS THERE? fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck i must have missed him :c
I almost don't hear his guitar
Look other lives
God
Someone please tell me which guitar that is!
Ernie Ball JP 15
and the name of the colour?
Ties Jehoul i think thats his gustom colour of that jp guitar
Ties Jehoul not sure about the color, but the wood used is buckeye burl
Music Man JP15-7St BFR buckeye Burl maple. It's Jason Richardson's custom model, non production
BANG YOUR FOOKIN HEADS!! \m/
I love how he plays Mark Holcombs solo as if Mark Holcomb is a pathetic infant child trying to play guitar.
I love how his compositions and riff don't make sense compared to the Mark's compositions with genial chords and arrangements... Mark just don't need to shred to be better in my opinion
i love Jason but he didn't nail that Mark solo at all...
what kind of guitar is that? that neck looks so thin for a seven! I want one
Brad Ernie Ball JP-15. you won't be able to find it in that finish though. it's his own.
What's that noise? Sounds like someone left their snow chains on.
muhamad suicmez with tattoos....and younger
vilez anne claire You forgot to mention that Jason is way better
Johnny Soto I think it’s just a matter of taste. Muhammad is very good BTW
Muhammad can actually write music though
ehat
i can barely hear it
what guitar is it? i know its john petrucci series musicman but i cannot find any guitars like this online..
Bejl just his custom jp15 i think
Music Man jp15-7st bfr. It's Jason's custom model
His drum tracks are always too loud and I don't know why. Wish I could just hear it better.
Probably the backing tracks were too loud.
Can't hear the guitar sound
Bollocks!!
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Drums and sweeps. Shame.
13:55 lmao if you're going to write music, make sure you can play it first
pretty sure dude's just tired.
Non si capisce un cazzo....non è musica è casino
its not 2008. the measure of a good guitarist is not how many notes a second you can play. im sorry. i dont like it.
Masters of Non-Xistence funny cause he actually originally wrote the first song in 2008 lol
TerryMusic haha. well isnt that ironic. just cant get into it. just cant. great tone. great rhythm but the lead stuff is so much uber fret wanking it ruins it for me.
Such an edgy comment.

guitar is way too high. he wants it to be like hes sitting down all the time. 😂
bellmeisterful
That's very common among very technical players.
Having your guitar hanging lower than your balls is handicapping yourself significantly.
Dr. Florence this guy probably plays bass
cringe with what his doing after he played the song. he feels like he's too strong.
Rmd Son huh?
