  • Come and join us on this video of flowers I'm sowing in April to get colour and all the pollinators in the allotment. It is going to be a very exciting year, and now that the weather is starting to warm up, there will be a lot of hard work to be done. It will all be worth it! Hope you enjoy :)

Zinnias are wonderful cut flowers and they come in lots of bright colors. They're the flower I really fell in love with growing. Thank you for this nice video!

Happy happy bees are rubbing their hands together in anticipation of beautiful flowers 💐. I try doing in starters and direct too. Some fab choices. Have a wonderful weekend and hope it dry 🙏. Stay well all of the family and thank you for sharing, Ali 🌦️🇨🇦

Dahlias make good cut flowers, plus you can overwinter the tubers.

    Fab video as always 😊
Loved the older gentleman in the background, I hope I am still gardening when I get to his age, he did seem a bit baffled by you talking to yourself though 😂😂

I always seem to leave sowing flower seeds a little late but they invariably catch up.
French marigolds are great for attracting hover flies & they love eating aphids.
Best thing of all; you're clearly enjoying this.
    Happy growing.

Hi, they generally do! I love French marigolds especially around the tomato's. Lupin's are beautiful also. Yes, I am enjoying the whole process thankfully! Hope you are too! Thanks for watching and commenting 😀

@@LifeAtTheHamids A couple of years ago, I found an unopened packet of lupin seeds from 1996.
I sowed them out of curiosity & 27 of 30 germinated!
They now grow in my late mother's garden.

@@GARDENER42 that's amazing! I find they don't like being disturbed. I tried moving one of mine to another location and it died shortly after. Tried with another and the same thing. Now I leave them where I want them.
