I like the way y'all add the music in the background, it's just right, 'cause it ain't to loud and it really goes well when y'all kinda don't talk fer a few seconds, it fills in the quiet. Oh hell, Y'all know what the heck I'm talkin' 'bout, haha. Anyway, that is one nice 38 Buick. Personally, I would love to have something like that to be able to drive. Heck, I'd drive it every day, I mean that's what they were built for, right? Great show. Kinda ass backwards but a great show none the less. Thanks for sharing the amazing things that y'all find.
That old classic has more styling and class than ANYTHING being made today. None of the junk today (I don't like modern whatever they are) would last anywhere near as long as that old Buick. All of the junk today looks so much like each other they should just be sold under one brand name......Toyjunker.
I agree. While the newer ugly junk may be able to get more mileage on them, their life expectancy in years is limited as they are so computerized and sensor controlled that they will never last as long because the electronics and sensors WILL FAIL long before the cars are that old and those parts will not be available or if they are available they won’t be affordable whereas parts for that old Buick will either still be available or can be fabricated by the owner/restorer/mechanic.
I’m not sure where I put them at the moment but SOMEWHERE in my collection of miscellaneous old car parts I have a complete set of replacement door handle springs for that car. (I got a few boxes of replacement GM door handle springs from old inventory they were clearing out at an Oldsmobile dealership that had opened in 1929) Unfortunately I am not even sure where to start to look for them as I have moved 3 times since I got them. I’m Also, there was a restored 38 Buick about 4 blocks from where I grew up and when it’s owner died about 25 years ago at a relatively young age his son who was out of high school for about 10 years got the car and it sat in his driveway for years untouched and not even in his garage so it was deteriorating. Not sure where it is now but I doubt he has done anything with it except maybe (but not sure) finally put it in the garage as it’s no longer sitting in the driveway. (I went to high school with the son and don’t even know if he is still in the area or not.
Cant you Be Honest and tell him ,I m only going to sell it after I get it running and driving, Cause thats all anyone cares about ,is Money, You know that thing That got our country into were its at Greed. LOVE OF MONEY

I have the front and rear seats for the 1939 Buick. I also have the front and rear Bumper if you're interested.
Unless they're pirate reenactors, never trust men with scarves on their heads.
