I agree with most of these, but in regards to Sannyo it's incorrect that she does the deed with people just because she's a courtesan. She's specifically the type of courtasan who DOESN'T do the deed traditionally. Courtasans were basically just female entertainers or even business women/managers if they were high ranking enough. It wasn't exclusively sexual (but men would rape women for any reason so a lot of the time they'd do sexual things unwillingly and get fired if they discussed it as rape). Women in Gensokyo seem powerful enough that they'd not be forced into sex even if they're courtasans.
She's not even a courtesan at all. She's a gambling booker, though she likes people to call her Madame Komakusa or Komakusa-dayuu because she's an accommodating host. (Lotus Eaters CH29 and CH30 actually feature her gambling den) An additional bit of flavor, a Komakusa, is not only her name, but the queen of Japan's alpine flowers. She's even shaped her logo like it. So Madame Komakusa, is a pretty cool name.
Sorry as a bug nerd I need to note that the Wriggle part is just blatantly false. While yes, some species of firefly do have larviform females that can't fly, there are also plenty of firefly species where male and females look the same, or even some where females are larger than males. One firefly species females even use bioluminescence to attract and hunt firefly males of another species. If anything, Wriggles appearance just indicates that of a fully matured firefly, but doesn't tell us much else.
Also, just because LW is officially licensed doesn't really mean much. I fucking love terumoko, but LW absolutely cannot be used for any basis of canon because ZUN doesn't play any hand in LWs development. He only gave it licensing, that's all.
As for Mike, it's a very interesting case. You can interpret it in a number of ways. Factually speaking, you hardly ever see male calico cats as the calico gene is on the double X chromosomes, which means unless there is a gene mutation or the cat is intersex, the calico trait is very unlikely to appear in male cats. That being said, you can take Miko's paw raise to be a sign of how she's not a very good manekineko, or you could hc her as transmasc. Or something else I fail to consider.
As for Sannyo, this is an incredibly misunderstood aspect of her character. For starters, if she *is* a courtesan, she's specifically an oiran, someone who is not involved in sex work. But the most important thing is that the canon seems to imply she's not a courtesan at all and simply recieves the nickname "komakusa-dayuu" from the way she dresses.
I think that's about all I have to say in regards to this. There's definitely a conversation to be had about Touhou and it's impact on the yuri scene, but aside from a lot of subtle queer references, the Hifuu club, Hisami, and Miko, there aren't a lot of outright queer characters. Only tons and tons of subtext.
