The new Hero Xpulse 200 4V, with its updated engine and gear ratios, promises better mid-range and top-end performance. Do you think these changes make it a better highway performer? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
Looks like they still can't decide whether to make it a touring bike or just offroading adventure bike... Damn ..our market expects everything from one single package..
I would buy one and make it a supermoto. Put 17inch wheels front and back, reduce the weight by removing all the bits that are used offroad or for touring. I think it would make a good supermoto. But For now, I am stuck with the Apache rtr 160 4v that I bought recently. How is the build quality of hero, is it better than tvs?

Just changing the downtube chassis with a Steel twin-tube will make a whole different experience to riding this motorcycle. The use of high-strength steel gives the bike extremely high strength, making it three times as stable as aluminum. As a result, the use of a much thinner chassis can produce the weight difference between the two materials steel and aluminum will below and can be compensated. it's a KTM secret by the way...
I was lucky to try this bike on our way to tezpur... 120 kms i was literally cursing this bike for i could hardly catch up with my friends who were riding apaches (200) But the rest 60 kms was the other way round (the roads were terrible infact most places there were no roads just loose gravel)...i have never seen a bike with just a robust shocks...i was hardly closing the throttle at some instances yet she took everything without any issues.. I think the Xpulse is fantastic for commuting. It’s fuel efficient when ridden with a light throttle. You can out your feet down easily if you are five feet seven inches and above. And no matter what the road is like, it always remains comfortable. It’s not the best commute tool if you like filtering like a Ninja, but otherwise, it’s pretty spot on.

No it's not happy at that speed on 3rd. You'll have to be on 2nd gear at most. On 1st it would be even better, so you can quickly shift to 2nd and get the acceleration
