Review is well put up Sir. I bought Xpulse 2 weeks ago and I will go with all you said. This is has nothing to complain about being a 1 lakh rupee motorcycle. I wish Hero added a bit more juice to the engine. 21 or 22 bhp, 4 valve engine with a price bump of 10k will be a good move.
@@thedreamer935 are bhai aapko pata nahi hoga lekin har hero ke bike ke video me hamesha iska comment hota hai ki kaise hero ki bike best hai sala pakka ye hero ke liye kaam karta hai
I do enjoy your reviews. Very comprehensive. A shame this bike is not available in the UK. With regard to the short seat it wouldn't be difficult for Hero to make clip on seat pad for the luggage rack. Perhaps you should suggest it to them.
I ride Impulse. If cruising speed for the Xpulse is between 80-90 km/h then I don't think it's really that much of an upgrade over the older sibling. Essentially an Impulse with ABS. Moreover, I just don't trust those Hero Motocorp guys to deliver after sales support. Had a horrible time finding spares for the Impulse. Of course, those who don't have an Impulse should simply not mind me. I have had a great time on the Impulse. This one won't disappoint. But, I was looking for an upgrade. This doesn't seem to be much of that. Appreciate your review.
Do you have the review of Dominar 400 bs6? If not, please do it. Because personally I find your reviews very honest and to the point. And last, but not in the list, Vikrant Singh's voice and calm way of presentation is like the cherry on the cake. Keep it up. Thank you.
Should I go for this or Should I wait for Yamaha XSR 155.. I love the riding posture of XSR-155! also feel that Xpulse is odd for an dual purpose.. All the pictures of people jumping in the air looks terrible. May he handle bar raisers? Idk for a more upright.. I see the shoulders are still reaching forward as opposed to XSR seems way more relaxed. Perhaps the Xpulse needa a headlamp from an XSR
Sorry its not a beginners bike.. It is tall and so its not for new rider. Only small bike which you can stand with both your feet without seating are good for beginners
I wish somebody to make a bloody brilliant content: On some serious owner reviews on off-road capabilities of Crf250L vs Xpulse. Just fyi as "The CRF" indeed is a benchmark bike from which Hero team built the XPulse for Indian condition. I wonder why or how i landed here. ;) Sorry on my little intrusion anyways !! Good luck on what you are presenting. Thx n Cheers ;)
I own an FI variant. The ABS locks your brake lever, leaving you completely unknown about its functioning. This might lead one to crash. During the 1st service, I asked them about the ECU update so that it could be fixed, but the staff was not sure of what I was asking for, and mentioned that it was done. ( But it was not ) Iv done close to 1200 kms, and now the handle vibrates on top speeds. ( Bad bearings) The side stand could have been better. Hero has done a good job, but there are flaws in it. Their service staff needs more understanding in this regard. The service center where my 1st service was commenced was Fort Point Mahim, Mumbai. Can you folks recommend a better service center in Mumbai.
I think Our India bike company would make their bike like that which is under 1 lakh price bike to competition with other bike company. At least make their bike like that dual purpose ride on off-road n on road, long travel front suspension 200mm n 180mm back suspension, make comfort sit, attractive design, front tyre at least 21 inch, back Tyre 17 to 18 inch, better fuel economy 35 to 40,better service, part available, make reliable bike, at 1 lake price at least give 200 to 250 CC segment bike n if that bike build for off-road then their bhp minimum 20 n give minimum NM 24 to 25 , bike weight minimum 130 to 150 kg ,fit space back Tyre size option 130 to 160,fit space front tyre size option 110 to 130. N if that segment price bike build for on road bike then their bhp minimum 25 n NM minimum 20 n bike weight minimum 150 to 160 kg,fit space back Tyre size options 140 to 160 n fit space front tyre size options 120 to 130 .Then I think no one bike company should competition n compare with this types of features bike company.....
The drawback is the cooling system and the lack of 6th gear. Xpulse should atleast get oil cooling and a 6th gear (6th gear for highway cruising) which would really unlock its potential.
By the way, Xpulse is a Dual Sport Vehicle and not an Adventure Motorcycle. I have seen many videos about Xpulse where they are saying Xpulse is an ADV. ADV bikes are heavy, can carry great loads and can travel easily on highways and off roads alike in a ratio of 60:40
you are right.but that's the traditional outlook. going forward even scooters will overlap into the ADV category. it's all a coming together of purpose, ability, and some smart marketing.
Brother I have taken a test ride and it's pretty much comfortable..I am 6 ft tall and 90 kilos in weight.. this beauty can give you a very comfortable ride if the roads are bad.. like really bad ...
That would also increase the cost. and with higher costs come lower volumes (particularly for Hero). and lower volumes mean, the product becomes insignificant in the overall company's scheme of things. but there will be a 250 KTM ADV... so there's still hope!
@@vikrantsingh6916 yeah still if hero goes to 250 cc they can manage cost around 1:30 which is still a superb deal and only enthusiast in india will understand this segment it's not a daily commuter Or a bike which middle class with use to commute to office or household chores

Surya Vardhan If you are not going to go ride off-road often enough, the Apache is a much nicer product on the road. Handles better, brakes better, and is easier to ride in the city. But, if like going offroad often enough, the Xpulse is the clear choice, no two ways about it.

I brought one black carburetor ,, love it as normal average person I like this, nice suspension, better riding position
And even I get 53 KM/L mileage
53kmpl .. if it is true then hero has made an excellent bike at this price point
How is the power delivery of the carb model at low rpm as compared to the fuel injected model?
At what speeds you ride bro ? Iam getting 42kmpl from my FI version.
Super bro I need to buy carbator model but what the mileage is coming
