  • Can opening to the Divine be an erotic process? Oftentimes, the aridness of the spiritual life is contrasted with the allure of the worldly life. Such comparisons often come from a very superficial understanding of the spiritual life. The sensuous poetry of Bhakti and Sufi poets hints at the rich eroticism inherent to the experience of true devotion. In this excerpt from the Living "Outrageous Openness" Forum, Tosha invites you to a taste of the inner riches of true surrender.

Haha You described & worded this very well, and I know exactly what you're talking about. The first time I saw somebody else reference this, I was like.....what a relief...it isn't just me!! haha When you meditate with the intention to commune with love, rather than to just still the mind, I think this erotic leaning perspective is much more likely to arise within you. Love has its way with you. haha That feeling actually grows stronger the more you commune, and that love becomes more & more accesible rather you're in active meditation/communion, or not. Well done on this video, Tosha, and much love to you❤
