Agreed. That swung it for me - the expressiveness and the joy in her movement. but I guess the judges are looking at criteria that I just can't see, technical stuff that I just don't notice, because I know nothing about body-popping.

Just looked at this video both dancers tore it up! I love to see how people come together regardless of genders, skin colors, and ethnic backgrounds. Having a great awesome time with each other. Without any violence, gender profiling, and racial slurs. More videos needs to be done through this 2020! Music always brings people together as ONE!

He was the clear winner.... his execution was smoother, pops/locks more snappy, and generally the slicker dancer. She was mad nice though.. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Love it.
I've always felt at these things that they should have a policy to stop all of the time wasting at the start. Dancers walking back and forth for ages, not wanting to go first because they know that whoever goes last usually (but not always) wins. Flip a coin, do rock-paper-scissors or something. Or possibly, give whoever goes out first the option to do an extra round. If they feel their performance was good enough to win, they pass on it. If not, they get to go out once more so they're last. Would add a bit more strategy to the battles.
poptastic y'all.. I spotted that classic double feint in round 1.. that should've been a KO right there... but round 2 saw the southpaw coming back with a couple of well placed uppercuts.. a good solid fight there, and well matched, but the applause must go to the winner
