Salah greenteck and mtpop have a similar trayectory where they took over the scene out of nowhere and got in a league of their own in terms of originality. I believe they are the most impactful poppers in terms of creativity all time in their peak.
Salah had a big influence on Mt Pop, so makes sense

I don't know if he had a specific influence on MT Pop but every single thing you said is false.
MT Pop truly came out of nowhere but there is actual video of the others dancing before their dancing strength "jumped".
It's similar to Doyah, Le-K, even Kefton and Paradox (all hip-hop). Before they went viral, they were in competitions.
What it means "I DO POP?? it means MT POP not do POP??!!! I love both. I love Nelson so much, Nelson Pop Hard and high level musicality but MT POP So FRESH..!!! And His Pop is Clean. With the Most isolation and every Moves and creativity mostly surprise.... Respect Both 🙏🏽❤

MT Pop plays to his strengths, which is creativity. That is normal.

@@KiiroSagi I'm just an audience member looking in lol. Only Nelson can say how he really felt. Neither you or me can say that for him.
But here's Nelson himself talking about his "I don't care" attitude:
It wasn't so hard for me at a certain level or experience. That it'll be easy for me to say, yeah, I don't care - whatever If I win or I lose. But I think it's also in my DNA. I always felt like, I always take everything for fun. This life is quite short. We see people all around who lost their lives quickly. Dancing, to me, is a gift. I can live from this and share my knowledge and the joy that dance gave me. A way for me to be disconnected from all the games that are waiting like "I want to be the best", "I want to win today", "I want to judge" I didn't really imagine all these things. It came to me because my peers recognized my quality; in my specialty. My status today is a chance. I'm here; I'm going to live this and give my joy to everyone I can meet on this journey.
I cannot wrap my head around the idea of people hatin on mtpop...

Its not that 😂 yeah he's way creative than most of us but his pops are not that noticeable. At least in video. I know some poppers that has their pops visible in person but not as much on videos. That's normal. You dont have to explode like prince all of the time 😂

Just enjoy the dance. Watch the movement. Listen to the music. This is a battle between them - not them and us.
MT Pop is in my opinion the best popper of his generation and best on the scene currently. As someone said earlier this does come down to preference, MT Pop relies heavily on concepts and tutting, whereas the other style lean more into groove or footwork. I think it's going to be a long time before we see someone with enough groove or dedication to the elements of popping (I mean like Jaygee who primarily leans into boogaloo) to beat him

Great battle! As good as Nelson is MT just continues to prove he's on another level. You can definitely see Nelson having trouble to keep up MT got so much stamina he never looks lazy. On another note who the hell picked the track list for this battle it was horrible 🤦🏻♂️ why do Comps continue to pick the worst tracks for battles like this ?

There are so many factors that weigh into the outcome when it's between dancers at this level.
Like Kite Vs Hoan. Hoan might win Monday and lose Wednesday you just can't say at this level.

I've seen Nelson perform mutch better. I feel he kind of gave up after round two. Crowd was ass, MTPop was on fire.

I had Nelson winning first two rounds and MT Pop winning the final round. I think Nelson talking competitively and some trash to MT doesn’t help get the crowd vote. MT is a crowd favorite and amazing…but lacks funk at times…and as Nelson pointed out he repeats a lot of his concepts. He’s a little less free than Nelson. MT knows how to get free and let go like he did in the third round and at times throughout his first two rounds. But Nelson lives in the funky and free zone. His musicality and timing changes combined with his Pop variations (muscle control) and footwork put him just on a higher tier as a dancer and Popper. He can’t win every time, and he didn’t play the game smart this time…you need the crowd in your corner to win. It’s dope to see MT Pop win this level of battle, and really be recognized as this generations best. His creativity and cleanliness is top tier and he’ll only get better he’s still young. This is prime Nelson.

What do you call a choreographer who can sync with music in real time? Or just because MT executes his pop with concepts perfectly, you can't accept the fact that he is superior to others in popping battles.
@@phunguyen8021He definitely has a lot of sets/choreographed routines that he incorporates into his dance. If you watch him enough it's quite easy to recognize the all repeated sequences but his flow is so elite it's hard to hold that against him.
Very creative, but definitely worked at.
