Also folks ideally, you would have twenty terror essences saved up by the time you activate your buff on Sunday. Then do 10 oblivion pillars or hell slayers bounties for double legendary drops. (Best Legendries in the game come from there). Then do 10 more on Monday. It will be hard to have 16 on Sunday so when you activate the buff get in a party of 4 go do 3 terror rifts for double daily gems. Get the final 4 essence's from those terror rifts. then oblivion pillars solo, then weekly gem in Erebban.
It's also good to save up daily gems for up to 3 days (daily gems counter isn't affected by the double effect as opposed to the weekly one). That way instead of 48 gems (3 days worth that u saved up until Sunday as. The gems u get on Monday) u get 96! That's huge for my fellow f2p players.
It takes you 4 hours to do gems? Why don't you just run Erebban? You do that about 20 times and each run you do Alert level 6+ and you can get all your weekly amount done in about an hour or a little over an hour.

last time i did the same,it workd NOT as half-the-time,but as double-drop x2 event
