Hey, Deanna! Back in the ‘90’s (dang, we’ve aged gracefully!), I was playing keys for Great Train Robbery at some room in Frederick, and you & your crew were playing just downstairs from us. When we went on break, we came down to listen and you called me up to do some four-handed piano. When I thanked you at the end & told you how much fun that was, you said “Hey, that’s the whole reason we got into this thing in the first place!”. I never forgot that. Anyway, thank you so much for all the great music over the years.
Never heard about her before. This is the 4th video I now have listened to (the other ones were from SF Boogie Woogie festivals): Entertaining to watch and creative playing. What a super talent! (apology for my linguistic limitations - don't have enough of relevant words). Greetings from Sweden also.
Hi,Deanna, many years ago we saw us and spoke together in Freiburg,Germany in Jazzhouse...Have a nice time!!!

Oh yeah Deanna!
Whew! Great stuff. I'm so glad I met you at Rick Jones' on Sunday.
Pat Furness and other commentators, you have to be correct as I have been a Deanna Bogart fan for years and love her performance here. How my comment wound up on this page is a mystery to me. My glitch? UA-cam's? Who knows? But, I sincerely love Ms. Bogart's music. Sorry, Deanna, my comment certainly wasn't directed toward you.
You need to know the person you are talking about, this lady has more CD's that are great and she is an accomplished artist maybe not your typical blues singer, but plays a mean keyboard and sax.
Count me in as a newbie fan. I'm just coming to the party. Something very familiar here?
Who is the bass player?
Looks like Charlie Wooten
Pretty girl, pretty dress, and some prettty darn good musicians. But, her voice and demeanor need maturity before she can qualify as a mainstream blues singer. I think it was David Bromberg who sang "...you've gotta suffer to sing the blues..." My take is that she has been a protected little girl up until now and needs something or somethings to happen in her life before she can do an honest job as a blues singer. Also some whiskey and tobacco in her voice could accomplish lots. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see her make it as a blues singer, but something tells me she is going to go Pop before that. These young people today want it NOW without having to work for it.
Don, I think you might've accidentally left your comment under the wrong video. This is a Deanna Bogart video. Maybe you were watching something on the Disney channel.
Here's hoping that someday-- o glorious day!-- poor Deanna will professionally make good. Until then, we'll just have to put up with her amateur sorority-girl attempts at nowhere gigging, busking with other wannabe's... but hope springs eternal! ; )

Cheers!
Pretty girl mentioned twice, a whiskey and tobacco recommendation (to come up to your own personal tastes?), and the insightful prediction she will go pop. On the other hand a woman who has played with an incredibly long list of blues artists, young and old, who love having her on stage, who know she will provide a perfect compliment, but always willing to step forward with some powerful piano or sax solos at any second, or lead a creative charge as necessary. Hmm ... let's see ... Blowhard or Bogart? That's a tough one.
@@nuthineatholl6434 you never know who someone is and what their early life was...I would've loved to have been protected. I take nothing personally and I hope all the best for you.
@@DeannaBogartmusic very cordial reply, you could have said he sounds like an obnoxious dick, but you didn't.😉
