I only saw one of your videos for the first time a few days ago. I subscribed and now am hooked on your channel. Your camera work, pace and narration are all so well done. You're a man after my own heart, keep up the good work.
Thank you so much!! We appreciate your support and we look forward to releasing many more videos of the same caliber. You're feedback helps a great deal and means a lot to us. We're so happy you found us. Welcome aboard! 😁😁
holy cow your reviews are SO GOOD!! you add in prices, you mention specials and deals, and review so many dishes!! thank you for your wonderful channel!
Started watching you guys for a while now..... LOVE your videos!! Looking forward to our next trip to Vegas to we can visit these restaurants!! Had to watch it twice so we could take notes! Looking forward to your next vlog!!
Oh! Thank you so much! It means so much to us when people use our reviews to plan a trip, 😁😁. You're going to love these places, 😋😋. Our next review will be out Friday late afternoon as usual. It's definitely one to watch as we're reviewing a very unique place very close to the strip!
The pastor in the Al Pastor tacos refers to shepherd, as this was the Lebanese shepherd's way of cooking the meat on a spit, but they cook it vertically, not horizontal. The spit is called a trompo, or spinning top, referring to the shape of the spit being narrow at the bottom and wider at the top.
Thanks for the video! We're new in Vegas and thanks to you, we already found our new Chinese restaurant - we had Pork Chop w/ Salt+Pepper, Beef Chow Fun, and Beef w/ Oyster sauce and everything was delicious. Btw, even though we went there on Sunday, we were able to order from their lunch special menu.
Well that's fantastic! So glad you enjoyed SK, it's makes our day, 💖, when we can help out our viewers! Funny you should mention the S+P pork chops. We were going to include that just as an aside because it's one of their best dishes! And, that's great they have expanded their lunch special menu. Great comments!!
SK’s lunch special is (now after this video, was) the best kept secret! I’d order several dishes and take the rest of it home for dinner! Best Chinese restaurant in Vegas.
Can you do the review on roast pork/ roast duck as well as clay pot restaurants in Las Vegas, since they are some of my favorites .. Visiting Vegas for the first time in September.. Thanks!
@@LetsEatVegasWhile expensive, the Resorts World food hall has many Asian quick serve restaurants, one even sells clay pot dishes, plus Malaysian, Korean, Thai- more than just Chinese and Japanese dishes. Parking at Circus Circus is free next door, 5-10 minute walk to RW.
Thanks for reviewing The Rustic House/John Cutter. This is only the second video I've seen that mentions The Rustic House/John Cutter. Their Sunday all-day steak special looks to be not only one of the best value steak specials, but from what you and the other reviewer said, it might be one of the best steak meals in town, period.
You're welcome! You know, we had never heard of RH/JC, but found them online in a random search. Decided to give them a try at the JC out by Red Rock for the Sunday Steak Special. Wow, we were blown away at the quality and for 1/2 off...a no brainer. We've been back several times but now at the RH on Charleston/Rampart. Really great food all around...fries, CAESAR salad...love RH/JC. Thanks for watching and commenting!!
@@LetsEatVegas When I posted above, I didn't realize that the "other" video that mentions RH/JC is also yours. So, your two videos are the only ones I've seen that mention RH/JC. Great find!
Whew! I can't tell you how beyond relieved I am that you didn't mention Ocean One, Tacos El Gordo and/or Village Pub in your ranking! I feel many mistake something being cheap with value, and they're simply not the same thing as I feel you understand all too well yourself based off of this great, informative video! Plus those three aforementioned places are mediocre at best, cockroach-infested trash at worst! 🙂 Le Thai is legit! I just dined there for the third time to date a couple of weeks ago the day after EDC and I had equally as overwhelmingly positive an experience as my first two dining experiences there. What I also love about Le Thai beyond what you've already mentioned, is that the spice and heat of their cuisine is legit. Usually when I dine at Thai restaurants in the United States and I request 5/5 spice level, the end result is something quite underwhelming and watered-down. Not here! They never skimp on the spice which is sooooooooo refreshing! I'm admittedly nervous regarding their plans to add yet another location to their portfolio: which usually there's a positive correlation between expansion and a decline in food quality. I certainly hope that doesn't wind up being the case but at least as of right now, Le Thai retains excellent food quality! 🥰 SK Seafoods is also an excellent choice! I will openly acknowledge I follow a plant-based diet so I have to be careful when placing orders at some places like this to avoid shrimp paste and fish sauce, but the previous time I have dined there they were very responsive and attentive to my needs and had a great dining experience! Another thing I find really cool about SK Seafoods is their variety of vegetable dishes including bitter melon, black fungus and luffa, as well as a Canadian wild rice substitute for white and brown rice. I don't see either all that often at most other restaurants of this sort: which makes it all the more authentic and unique. So I wholeheartedly agree with this pick too! 😇
Thank you so much for the great comment! Interesting what you say about Le Thai's new place. I hadn't heard that so I'll have to look into it. Yes, expansion can mean poorer food quality. We used to have a restaurant and had the chance to expand. We thought long and hard about what it would mean for the quality of the experience for our guests and ultimately decided against expansion for this reason. Well, let's hope they can pull it off! Also, thanks for the info about SK. We're omnivores and so haven't looked into some of the plant based alternatives at SK. That's great to know for future reference! Thanks for watching and commenting. We greatly appreciate it and love to get this type of feedback. 😁😁
Thanks! Yes, we usually get 9 or 10 different dishes when we review a single restaurant. It's important to go deep into the menu to give everyone a real feel for the place. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I think it's fair to say that chorizo does not have to consist of stuff like lymph nodes and salivary glands, that's just the budget chorizo at the grocery store. It's great fried up with eggs, but I was happier when I didn't know what was in it. Keep up the great content, I look forward to your videos.
I'm not sure I can always tell the difference. I do know they clarified their own butter at The Palms Lobster buffet but otherwise I suspect the finer places make their own and the lesser places buy it. Thanks for watching and commenting!
wow, 50 off50 at 1941...hot but only on wednes..the LEAST busiest day lol... what time does it start the 50off and can u do takeout for the 50off or its only dine in? thx
The offer is available from 6AM to 10PM. I'm not sure about the to-go issue. I don't see anything on the web site about it. I suspect you have to dine there but you would need to call to find out for sure. Thanks for watching and commenting!!
We've been thinking of doing a review including a number of diners. My hesitance is my experiences at Blueberry Hill. First time it was great. Next two times it was NOT. Next time it was very good. Thanks for the comment...has me reconsidering, 😁
Good video. So, where is your cooking video? An SK here in Reno, too, has good food and not-so-friendly service unless, of course, we have our Asian friend Swan with us.
Hi! Here is the link to the cooking video: ua-cam.com/video/Rj12MSfxtmU/v-deo.html That's funny about your friend Swan...when we did a review of Taiwan Deli (our last review), we met a woman named Swan. She was sitting next to us. Possibly the same person??
I’m a native of Vegas and know my city very well but have no idea where Rustic Steakhouse or the Mexican place is. Your video is appreciated but perhaps you could start including the address’s and areas of town the places you are showing are located at.
Thanks for watching! All the names, addresses, phone, web site info is listed for every place we review in the description portion of the video. Rustic House has two locations. We went to the one on Charleston near Rampart. La Vecindad is on East Sahara about three block East of the strip in the old Commercial Center District.
Just started watching your vids Very nice indeed I’ll be there soon for 10 days I get comped cause I play too much 🙄 and have a gambling issue but is what it is but still enjoy watching you You should do show reviews as well as casino reviews for rooms price food gambling etc Looking forward to the hot weather pools and keep myself amused as I don’t have a lotta money but I can bet 3 bucks and win 11 million ha who knows

Well, you can't really tell too much from the video on this issue as it's usually difficult to cut food due to the odd angles you and the food need to take to get the proper lighting. It's the same with chopsticks...very difficult to use while recording a video. Anyway, there's one way to find out for sure, 😉. Thanks for watching and commenting!
That sounds about right. I remember that period well. It went through the business world as well soon after. My first job in 1990 was suit and tie only...then...by the end of the 90s it was business casual every day! Now, you don't even go in to the office at all, lol
It's incorrect @ 7:48. It says Cerveza(he pronounced it Ker-Vay-Sa instead of Ser-Vay-Sa) which mean beer in Spanish when it's actually called Cabeza(pronounced Ka-Bay-Sa) which means head.
Yes, you're the second person to point this out. We got mixed up on that one. We were a little rushed to get this out this week which is when you make stupid mistakes. Thanks for letting us know!

That's funny you should mention the clay pot. If you look closely in one of the clips you can see me eating the beef curry clay pot! It's delicious, but not a lunch special so we don't talk about it in the video but did show it. Yummm! Love duck. I'll look them up. Thanks for the comments!!
