As new Sabbath keepers, but long-time Christians, my husband and I are growing so much deeper in the Lord, as we listen to you and as we read other materials regarding the Sabbath and other things we had not been aware of before. Thank you. Your humbleness and gentleness as you teach God's Word shines through. I have always been turned off by boasting, prideful, loud, 'preachers'. And usually those kind of 'preachers' end up in some kind of scandal down the road. It is evident that you truly live what you teach and what you teach always lines up with the the Scriptures. Thank you so much and may God bless you greatly.

Having a solid foundation in trusting the Lord is important (I learned that in this sermon). If I don't have a solid foundation in my trust in God, I will eventually crumble to the ground when "things get shaky in life". Pastor Doug is anointed to teach the Word of God. He is my favorite pastor right now. God bless and always keep God first place.

May God continue to bless you Pastor Doug. You are right on the button. I felt that God was speaking to me through this message. I heard the truth years ago, believed in the true Sabbath and procrastinated up until recently. Raised knowing who God is and believed that I loved Him in my own 'ignorant' state. God gave me a wake up call recently, not by the horrendous tragedy that occurred but by the swift events that followed. I have been watching your sermons and 'studying' thinking I need to to be 'skilled' enough to share God's beautiful truths with my children, family and those who having opposing views. I've been so excited and have watched and read so many parts of the Scripture all at once - all of it have been beautiful! There is just so much material that I wish that I could read all at once! I realized this morning, after praying, watching your sermon, that I don't even have the fundamentals cemented in my mind - verses for references. I know which book it's found in but not the verses of by heart. I bought 10 notebooks the other day with one that has a different cover from the rest- to compile one for each topic of study for my own learning. Now I know what I'm going to use that for. I know in my excitement and over zealousness to learn and share the truth that I need to have my foundation of the truths cemented first. Praise God Almighty for answering my prayers and for His long suffering that I have found Him again and for giving me this time to prepare myself and others for the tribulations ahead and His coming!

Child of God he already speaks in a low monotone voice. when they post his videos they need to pump up the volume. besides that a lot of people out here are hearing challenged. oh by the way do me a favor and tell that person with the weird name that the collard greens are ready

everyone is sinner. do you think Abraham also did not made sin after God claim him as rightous one? EGW's writing to lead us to the Bible and Jesus. you need to test everything. if you see the teaching of EGW contradict to the bible, then you can say she is using her interpretation only and did not lead by God.

@Brighton Moyo, your endeavor is honorable and a bless from God. It's His manifestation of will to make you acquainted with His Love, His Son and His Life. It sounds big, as I capital letter these last words. Nevertheless it is about something big and honorable to which God seems to bring you and draw you near.
Ellen White, the source that seems to encourage you on such path cannot but be a bless and the prove itself, in the action of bringing you near to God, through the message of her writings that she actually doesn't talk for herself but through the Holy Spirit about God.
I am very critical and resistant at paying much value than we ought to give her, so a refuse much credit to her than she ought to get from us who read from her writings.
Nonetheless, I find no writer to put through words such depiction of the beauty of Christ, His character and fervent Love. No one has ever been able to portray such beauty of God's Love as you can read, see and live through White's writings. She never wanted but to speak and bring about always God.
The phrase, the structure of them, the construction, the vocabulary thereof flow like a swift brook of sound waters to entice the heart and spirit of the reader with joy. You can see it and leave such beauty as God is depicted while He lived amongst us "Full of Grace and Truth".
That Love that inspired Jesus can be apprehended easily as you read and go deeper through her writings. None, no such writer of God was able to speak this simple, fluid, yet overwhelming to our hearts to such extent that entices the reader to further know God, take His Word and read from the Bible than Ellen White's inspired writings.
The reason of such work is because it doesn't belong to her rather to God inspired through the Holy Spirit.
I would discourage the hailing of Ellen White anyway, because she is a human. Nevertheless, her writings do not speak of herself but of God only. Thus, if you are drawn near to God, her job is well done, even today, after her lving away so long time ago.
If you make it to know God and feel blessed with such knowledge, than you have not wasted your time by reding from Ellen White's works. If you feel happy at reading the Gospels, God's Word, the Bible, than you are on the right path and once on it, you will not be lost no more.
Because that is the Light "that shines in the darkness and the darkness did not overcome it. "

Pls answer my questions: 1) Ellen White linking the seal of God with sabbath keeping but Bible said otherwise, Ephesians 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption, so Holy Spirit is the seal of God, not the sabbath keeping. 2) Ellen White said that Satan is the sin bearer but Bible said otherwise, Hebrews 9:28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin... 3) Ellen White said that Jesus’s work is not completed at the cross, she preached the “Investigative Judgement” (how dare u?! This is the central of our salvation! Whoever believes in this is not saved!) but Bible said otherwise, John 19:30 When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” Salvation is completed at the cross. 4) Ellen White said obedience to the Ten Commandments is a requirement of salvation but Bible said otherwise, Hebrews 7:12 For when there is a change of the priesthood, there must also be a change of the law. Hebrews 7:18 The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless. So is there no more commandments under the new covenant? There is. Hebrews 8:10 ...I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts.. Hebrews 8:11 No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, (Ten Commandments need to be taught). So what law or command that’s put in our minds and written on our hearts? The answer is: John 13:34 A new command I give you: Love one another. Romans 13:9 The commandments, “Do not commit adultery,” “Do not murder,” “Do not steal,” “Do not covet,” and WHATEVER OTHER COMMANDMENT there may be, are summed up in this one rule: Love your neighbour as yourself.” 13:10 Love does no harm to its neighbor. CarlaJoy this is something i question when i look at the many denominations of Christians. This doesnt necessarily mean that his teachings are false, but it brings to mind what Jesus said about how hard it is for a rich man to enter heaven.
