HMMM... now I'm even more confused, especially after reading the comments. Usually I find some explaination in the comments but, this time.... just more confusion. I thought that " Sons of God" in the Old Testament always referred to Angels and "Sons of God" in the New Testament, depending on the phrasing could also include man/Christians. I don't have a lot of Biblical knowledge but, I have listened to many of Pastor Doug messages and generally find them to be right on with the Bible (KJV) although I have noticed as with this sermon, he misquoted several verses, because (why I like video) I pause and look up every verse and, I most always read several verses before and after the quoted verse (sometimes, even the whole chapter) just to get a full understanding of what is being said. . But, this message was very confusing to me, tends to lead me to believe that it is not fully accurate.

God speaks to us through his Holy Spirit and it is this part of the God head that gives us discernment concerning the Prophecies of the word .. but sometimes even those without a knowledge of the sanctuary or typology can be reached by heart or by circumstances we are thrust into and this in turn gives us a hunger to know more which leads us to reading the word more literally.. when you see these things how long ago they were wrote and how accurate they are there is no equal in all of human history .. so much so that these Godless higher critics say that the book of Daniel must have been forged as the info in it is too accurate lol go figure
Angels are considered many times the sons of God....they rejoice when man was created , they must have look at Adam and Eve with awe and doting and caring for both like babies....angels ascend and descend in the Garden ministering and having fun in the new creation..earth and man..The bible have clues ,why suddenly iniquity was found in some of them...The instruction not to eat from the other tree was not secret or whispered to Adam..but everybody heard and know,including snakes and other animals..how did Lucifer know that eating from the Tree ..one will not die,instead become like Gods..unless he ate ..

zantiagoshock : Jesus is not called GOD . But we believe he is GOD . Your view of Angels is narrow . Angel is also a messenger . Jesus is called the Word . He is the chief messenger ergo Arch Angel . Michael is not a name but a title . Pastors are also called Angels .

Jesus is not Michael the archangel. The Bible nowhere identifies Jesus as Michael (or any other angel, for that matter). Hebrews 1:5-8 draws a clear distinction between Jesus and the angels: “For to which of the angels did God ever say, ‘You are my Son; today I have become your Father’? Or again, ‘I will be His Father, and He will be my Son’? The angels are called sons of God (Genesis 6:2-4; Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:7), but Jesus is THE Son of God (Hebrews 1:8; Matthew 4:3-6).
Michael the archangel is perhaps the highest of all the angels. Michael is the only angel in the Bible who is designated “the archangel” (Jude verse 9). Michael the archangel, though, is only an angel. He is not God. The clear distinction in the power and authority of Michael and Jesus can be seen in comparing Matthew 4:10 where Jesus rebukes Satan, and Jude verse 9, where Michael the archangel “dared not bring a judgment of blasphemy” against Satan and calls on the Lord to rebuke him. Jesus is God incarnate (John 1:1, 14). Michael the archangel is a powerful angel, but still only an angel.
This dude only tells you what the Bible says. The rest is his opinion. Angels don't have wings. We cannot see Angels, they are invisible. They can move thru walls and move solid objects but if An Angel wants to drag a car into a house, an opening has to be made. Angels can move thru walls, yet any object they hold cannot move thru solid walls.
He is a Hebrew Israelite they believe in the lost books of the Bible. Study to show thou self approved.

In Jude 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil etc.1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout , with the voice of an archangel , and with the trumpet of God and the dead in Christ ,will rise first . The verse itself refer to Jesus. Jesus is the head of all the angels but He is not an angel.John 5:39 says you search the scripture for in them you think you have eternal life etc .At the time of Jesus the New Testaments was not written yet , Jesus was referring to the Old Testaments . My point is this ; just because Michael is not in Matthew , Mark ,Luke and John it is an evidence that Jesus is not Michael . May God open your eyes to the truth because God loves you desperately . There isn't any confusion in pastor Doug Bachelor's sermon. He is revealing God's holy truth what is hard to understand about that. If you find it hard to comprehend then you should pray to God for the Holy Spirit to give you understanding in Jesus Christ's name. Then listen to this sermon of pastor Doug Bachelor's again, you will then find it easier to understand.

Angels were not made in the image of God. Only humans were created in His image. But angels did come down to earth and they were recognized as men. That's why they were made a little higher then humans. They can even show themselves as angels of light. White washed containers but with dead mens bones on the inside.

The term sons of god is always referred to angels, in the hebrew. Who are created but Adam was also a direct creation of God.
In Jude it says that the angels 'left their first estate' or habitation in order to take part in these things.
And the decendants of them were giants, we are talking about 15 - 20 feet.

The Bible says in HEAVEN they dont marry and or given to marriage . But it absolutely does not say they cant reproduce. They did in Genesis 6 when they fell from heaven and took wives of whom they chose and bear Nephilim. The bible makes it clear to give these offspring names because of the particular size and abominable looks. Not because they were just good people mixed with bad people.

I didn't get the same interpretation from my Bible. What part is leading you to believe Angels reproduced with humans. I feel like my Bible must have a page missing or something....I have read through my Bible many times and am lost as to what you are referring too.

He has said before that he places his sermon notes in the front cover of his Bible, so that is what he keeps looking at. He has all the scriptures written down on those notes too.

It was not the sons of Seth. It was fallen angels that mated with women. The sons of God are mentioned in the Book of Job directly. How does Doug forget this? Angels who are the sons of God go to meet him omce a week to give him glory and praise. And even Satan was able to still go. The fallen were those that decided to give up their estates and birthrights to explore the lusts of the flesh and they absolutely had children with women, as to the proof of the legends of old that at 100% similiar all around the world. Red hair, 6 fingers on each limb and 2 rows of teeth and being giants. It is absolutely absurd to assume bad people of Cain when mixed with good people of Seth that they created these monsters. Its impossible and if were true that good people mixed with bad people created monsters and giants the. We would see this today. But it doesmt because it doesnt. All scriptures point to the fact that the sons of God are Angels and that when we die we will be as the angels in Heaven.

Elijah did not go to the 3rd heaven. Earth is heaven and the sky is heaven. No man in this generation have seen an angel. The book of Ezekiel and revelation gives you a clear description of angels. Also there is no God the holy spirit, that's a false teaching
