also, try and learn them in pairs, like sune and antisune, practice them until it feels like a single algorithm, smooth.Don't forget to do solves so you can get used to recognizing them fast.If you haven't learned PLL,I recommend learning it first(it's easier and you can start to speedsolve)
Learn each oll separately by dividing them in parts. Once you've practiced one algorithm alot it will get saved in your muscle memory. After that you will not forget it. Learn 2 or 3 olls in a day and practice for about 2 to 3 days.
For 4:48 you can recognize that the colors almost go around the cube. Like normal, red is to the left of green, which is to the left of orange. And then you look to the right and that edge is the opposite of the front edge and to the right of the right (orange) corners. I’ll dm you a picture of what I mean to clarify. It might be confusing and not better, but that is what I would do.
For the Pi and H cases, you can use PLL recognition patterns. For the H case, you can recognize it as a V Perm with the block on the top left. Do a U2 and instead you have a Y Perm with the block on bottom. Alternatively, you can flip the corners in your head to recognize you have an anti-clockwise u Perm. For the Pi Case, you could recognize it as the E Perm from the wrong angle, or flip the corners and recognize it as clockwise u Perm in the back. The benefit of this is that you can recognize from any angle. It works especially well for T U L S and AS. For Pi and H it can take some getting used to, since all four corners are misoriented.
For H (with the front edge lined up), what I use is the same corner recognition and the left edge being opposite and the right edge being adjacent to their spots
There is a easy way to recognize Pll skip in H case you shown. If that 2*1 bar in left is opposite color of front edge, then it's Pll skip. Just as simple😊 Edited: Yeah but we should make sure that there is only one 2*1 bar.
How to never get an n perm (however I learned the n perm) : when your doing oll when your edges are not oriented then you orient the corners by doing short algorithms or use algorithms for lastlayer in ortega 2x2 for example when you get an t case then put the two yellows facing left and do F R U R' U' F' to orient all corners then you should do only one algorithm to permute the corners is A perm then you only have to do one of the three oll algorithms there are yellow X, yellow H and yellow kite then you get only edge permutation algorithms wait a minute but T perm is my favorite also there's a chance you will get pll skip wait a minute there's a chance you will get y perm or v perm when finishing the orienting the corners so I learned the v pern so I will do the v perm
BrodytheCuber, can you please help. I am a sub 30 solver using the QiYi Warrior and 4LLL. The main reason my times are so bad is because my F2L is like 15 seconds! How can I improve? Please reply.
The usefulness of this video is dependent upon which algs you use, from which angle you have on each case during the solve. It might waste your time spending too much time recognizing etc.
BrodytheCuber Trust me bro if there is one thing you learn in cubing. There is very little “standard”. Everyone has a bit different of a cubing methodology. Also practice time varies per cuber obviously.
Sune OLL it depends on it's cases. For example if the case is easy to recognize also execute, it could be really helpful especially when u were get used to it's case
Sune OLL when you get used to it it doesn't take any more time. A lot of times you are like 50% sure you will skip and then confirm it as you are doing the alg.

But do you really think people who use 2 look OLL should take the time to see if it’s going to skip? There’s no point recognizing CP and edges if the only case you know is the regular OLL in my opinion. It’s still helpful to know, but probably not for people who don’t know full OLL yet.
the idea is that you'll eventually be able to do this in the time that you would normally recognize your OLL, but if you don't think you'll be able to do that, then you're right
That's just another of the 4 H COLL cases. And it's not sufficient: do a U-Perm, your case is still there, but you'll NOT skipp PLL, of course. You need to check the edges, too. Or maybe I misunderstand what you mean by "horizontal bar". Happy cubing!

How to learn all olls in a month without forgetting them!
Nitesh Patel practice them a lot, until you no longer need to remember the moves. Then,it will be harder and harder to forget them.
It's a powerful trick......Thanks!

Geo I know all plls and only 30 olls.
How to predict pll skip: just reverse your oll alg and look for things to recognize
DONE!

I love how he explained everything in the video

Great Tips!
Thanks Brody This helped alot to look ahead for pll skips :)

Nice tutorial :)
Nice video! I was wondering what you use to get the nice lighting you have in your videos?
I have two softbox lights
Nice video
Make more advanced tutorial like that
CP recognition pls
Nice video🤗
It takes me a second to realize I just need to do a U’ to finish the solve lol
Yeeeeeah, new top video)

I got a PLL skip on a big lightning bolt OLL
And I got a sub-10 PB
Thanks brody
Let's see if I get it right. Are you saying that every case in the reduced OLL has its PLL skip?
How to predict pll plssssss
That's pretty difficult but I can teach part of that

All of the algs in this video are very standard. Also, the recognition can be done almost instantly with practice
BrodytheCuber Trust me bro if there is one thing you learn in cubing. There is very little “standard”. Everyone has a bit different of a cubing methodology. Also practice time varies per cuber obviously.
BrodytheCuber Regardless this was an informative video and I appreciate it :)
it’s good to know when it’s pll skip for the sune cases cause you can end your solve suner 😉
Don’t you think that recognizing each one of them like a zbll just to see if you’re going to get a pll skip is a bit slow? Anyways, nice video Brody.
🤔
Sune OLL it depends on it's cases. For example if the case is easy to recognize also execute, it could be really helpful especially when u were get used to it's case
But what is the point of predicting a skip?
Sune OLL when you get used to it it doesn't take any more time. A lot of times you are like 50% sure you will skip and then confirm it as you are doing the alg.
0:35 What about OLLs 2, 44, and 45? Those are the EO OLLs in 2-look.

I was about to do this
Brody Can you please tell the algorithm on top

How to remember the recognition for knight cases?
Please make video on advanced cross
can you do a 2 look pll tutorial?
what is the scramble for the sune part
you dont have to reconize you can just to the a alg except back sune
What cube
nice tips but Don't you think that the recognition time for pll skip would be longer than normal execution for oll.
the idea is that you'll eventually be able to do this in the time that you would normally recognize your OLL, but if you don't think you'll be able to do that, then you're right
What’s the cube
looks like a polymer coated gts2m

For H when you have horizontal bars and opposite headlights on each side, F triple sexy F' should skip PLL

What cube r u using brody?👈

1:27 That #soon will skip pll.
감사합니다~`~

Oops matched pleas
You said no algorithms
I just want to be fast my record is 1.67 but I can't bet the world record
Brody is your hand ok now?
I'm still not doing OH yet, but everything else is fine
Can I get to be sub20 w/o any COLL?
Pelle Snüslöös yes
yes
yes
CrazyBadCuber averages sub-16 and he doesn't even know full OLL.
How many years CrazyBad been cubing?
Hello I subbed to u
I got an f2l skip once
i have 1 skip oll just do this
F + T PERM + F'
Do OLL 45
Or you could just use full 1LLL
as you do
Isn't that Zbll?
IcestrikeGD zbll s just cross
