So I had this thought... There was recently found to be an ocean under the sea bed. The newly discovered waters are 3 times the volume of all the surface oceans put together. Which is insane. It seems to be that the deeper you go into the sea, the stranger and larger the creatures you find. I have little doubt that the same is true going into the hidden depths. I mean what if all of these monster sightings over the centuries actually have a basis - Things that escaped from under the earth?

When I was on a tour boat in Cornwall, I spotted a fin in the water, so I pointed it out to the tour guide and he said it was a gigantic sunfish just as we saw a HUGE/TERRIFYING round circle immerge out of the water and I dreampt about it last night *shivers*
'Terrifying' is a very vilifying word, our prejudice towards animals that look 'intimidating' or 'ugly' are the main reasons a lot of these predators and other species are endangered, people don't give them the empathy and attention they deserve. All of nature is equal parts ugly and beautiful so don't judge by appearance if you claim to care for it.
Eric J Perhaps but that wouldn't change my perspective on them. Humanity can be just as repulsive and aggressive so we are equal parts terrified of animals as nature is likely terrified of us.

They used interchangeable footage that isnt interchangeable. The first picture was an actual megamouth, while the ones with the gaping jaw were basking

If you want to say how scary these are you should tell them the size of them and you got some of the photos wrong like the basking shark for a mega mouth but cool video
