I was Active Duty 54B over 20 years ago !!! I hadn't worked out in over 16 years. Today I stretched, Warmed up, found this Cadence on my phone and ran THREE (3) MILES - Non Stop!!!!! I KID YOU NOT !!!! ARMY STRONG IS FOR LIFE !!! Thank you ❤
This helped me a great deal. It brought back the good old army days. I remembered these same cadences back in the early 90s when I was in. Hoorah!! Field artillery!!!
Remember visiting Ft. Benning with my Dad while he was in Civil Affairs with the Army in the 1980's. I would hear the Rangers running to these cadences. When you have a drill Sgt that has some soul the cadences make you want to run 20 miles.
Thank you for making this track. Since I got out the Army, couldn’t run without the cadence. This track gets me in the mode everyday when I run, for the length of the video. Salute to you sir 💪🏾
Running cadence is much difference than marching cadence. But the point is moving glorious warriors to combat. good job soldier. damn i just realize this is all rangers.
20 years later I still listen to pump up my motivation on a loud sound system I was 75B10 personnel admin specialist and still proud. Try it blasting loud and get pumped up my fellow soldiers!!!
Although the closest thing I come to being military is High School Army JROTC 😅 (so yeah not close at all), the cadences from back then (more than 15 years ago) would still pop in my head when I jogged… After tiring myself out respecting phrases about chick Ings jumping off the table, I listened to this this morning, and though I don’t get all the military jargon, I ❤️ the positive affirmations and humor and was able to jog a whole mile (something I haven’t been able to do in years). Thank you to all who have served and thank you for making this playlist 🙏🏾.
Sometimes I wake up in my condo and hear this in my head. Thanks Ardennes, thanks ft bragg, thanks 82nd, thanks 37th beb for the many mornings of hearing these cadences for hours 🤣
I’m in the National guard and I leave for boot camp March 30th 2020 I’m really not in great shape at all. I couldn’t find any kind of motivation to get up and run (I can barely run a quarter mile without getting gassed.) Well I said this shits not gonna get any easier so we need to get on it ASAP so I’ve been listening to this the past couple days and it has helped me so so much. I have PT in a week in Houston, TX and I know I’m not going to last very long but it’ll definitely be significantly better from last time. I have plenty of core strength but no cardio whatsoever, so we did our core exercises and that went well and then we started doing shuttle runs and I thought I was going to vomit I didn’t even have enough energy to do the mile that we had to do at the end of the exercise. I’m overweight by probably 30-40lbs and it’s a miracle that I got by MEPS. But I’m now devoted I’m eating right and I’m trying my hardest to get up in the morning and run my mile and if not then I do it at night listening to this is my motivation, ARMY STRONG isn’t just a saying, I want that to be my lifestyle.
Good to hear, was hard for me to run at first too but once I figured out a good pace and get my breathing right, running becomes much easier and sort of relaxing now. Good luck at Boot Camp.
@@Old_Demon04 First thing we gotta do is set a base, time your 1mile run and see what it is, if you have to walk that is okay just maintain a constant pace for yourself. Run/jog/walk a mile, do that 3-4 times within a week, and continue that for a week or two. Time yourself now and see what you are at. Now repeat with extended distance, depending what you're at either 1.5mile or 2mile, time it your first and try and gradually improve each day. Some days will be better than others. Building up the stamina for long distance takes some time so don't get discouraged if you don't see immediate progress. Once you get comfortable with distance is when I'd start pushing for speed, 6 60's and 3 120's are great for that. You can do those on your off days if you're able. Pmuch you run for as fast as you can for the allotted time, 60 being 60 seconds & 120 being 120 seconds, you can alter the amount of them you do but those are a good base I'd say. The hardest thing about running imo is the mindset, once you got your own mindset you'll be golden. I like to use these running cadences for my 4mi runs, keeps you at a nice steady pace.
Benning is insane, I qualified expert with m-16 3 shot burst . All the expert shots got a pass to the officers club to see the chicago honey bears( go go wanna be strippers) had to walk about 10 miles there and back way after dark, creepy long dark roads! we could get anything except alcohol. I got 2 chili dogs and a 6 pack of pepsi , told him to leave the ring on them Big mistake, that stuff was pure poison in my clean detoxed wind and water body! Made me sick as hell, good times
This would have been a very cool mix, the percussion didn't do it for me. I more focus on the feet hitting the ground. I feel like I am running with my unit in Germany back in the day. Still, thanks for doing this and putting it online. I still ran with it.
The first one is my favorite. All I got to say is R- Is for Ranger, A- Is for Ranger, N- Is for Ranger, G- Is for Ranger, E- Is for Ranger, R- Is for Ranger! :))
