When thinking of a Harley, this bike, the 100th Anniversary, represents the epitome of what a Harley is. A very nice specimen indeed. Very Clean aesthetically pleasing.
AWESOME video! Got my first ever motorcycle recently! Its a rare pearl white 2003 Wide Glide! Its a monster of a first bike, but im so glad i got my dream ride first and learned on it the right way. It had 17K miles for $4800. 6000 miles of riding later, its the best vehicle decision ive ever made! Long live the FXDWG!
I recently bought a clean low mileage 04 fxdwg , its my first Dyna , ive always had soft tails. I really dig it. To me the wide glide is one of rhe best looking HDs ever made. USA #1 👍
Ive always been a softail guy. Love my 92 FLSTB and Crossbones. Even put a 76 shovel in a softie frame. But i just bought my first FXDWG. May look and sound like a softail, hell does it ride different. Itll be an awesome addition to the garage.
My first Harley was a 2000 WideGilde.Loved that bike.I put 44000 miles on it before I traded it for My current 2015 Street Glide Special. If I would have had a good place to keep both of them inside I would have kept my Wide glide. That was a decision I agonizing over to trade My Wide glide for The Street Glide but the Street Glide had everything I wanted on it the Wide glide didn't.The Older Wide Glides will always be one of My Favorite Harleys.👍👍👍😁
My dyna wide glide was the 2003 anniversary edition when I got it, but it is now customised. People said I should leave it as standard as it was worth more, but I'm never going to sell it. Great bike and great video.
I bought a new 97 Wide Glide. I've had several Harley's and even though it didn't have much power compared to today's M8 motors, despite an S&S E Carb, Andrew EV 27 cam and Cycle Shack mufflers and Dyno tuning. It's still one of my favorites.
CT's own BADASS 😎😎😎. The 03 Dyna WG is what it's all about. Absolutely beautiful. I'm in New Haven (🤮) I gotta get up there to the museum and check it out.
Have the ‘03 Superglide , 80 something thousand miles on it . Mines not polished or cleaned , drove in the rain a lot , Real leather seat and saddlebags, heavy leather tool bag full of partly rusted tools mounted to the bottom of the sissy bar over the back fender. It is now the same shape as the back fender. A handlebar mounted heavy leather bag I made myself with my hand crank leather sewing machine . Far front highway pegs I made with Boeing 737 stow bin arms . A commercially available high sissy bar in the back . Made a nine inch CROSS with a Bridgeport and mounted it in the sissy bar. Has never seen a windshield and never will ( might as well just ride in a car) . Never could figure the guys who could spend massive bucks on a bike but never bother to buy( or bother to wear ) a solid pair of boots. Seventy five now and still ride sometimes……… A lot of different riding styles , I have mine other people have theirs. I have always been thankful when I got home in one piece and God gave me the gift of being able to ride another day !
Hi from Australia similar age as You and good to be in shape and USA must be nice to have all those Bikes there as here there are now so many Harley bikes and just got My first one last Christmas Fat Boy S 2016.Even have Grand Mother's commenting on it.Have a nice day.
Im an oldschool harley guy. Love the evo bikes.... especially softail customs and heritage softails but i gotta admit that the new street glide st's have caught my eye.
I’ve watched this video a bunch, my fav of this particular bike, ur passion shows my friend n I’m sharing n telling my buddies. Keep it up your the best at these reviews
my first harley 1999 fxdwg. I bought it in 2010. I bought the second Harley Softail FXSTC in 2016 and the model I really wanted was the FXSTC model, so I had to sell it on 4.06.2024 😢
Beautiful Harley and paintjob. That's one Harley that I could see myself owning and riding. Looks like it would be real comfortable for a passenger to ride on too. That Harley looks pristine and brand new, as all of yall's bikes do, when your men get finished with them. My favorite Harley is a Trike, but they're so damn expensive. I'm still in awe of my RZ 350, as are some relatives and friends of mine..Very sick powerband on it, when you get her up in the high rpm's....Everybody asks me how I was able to get one that is so nice, and That's when I turn them on to your two You Tube channels that they love.
That’s the tone we like men….I sense a trailer or 5 has cut a gash or 3 makin that approach up the driveway….lol. Man needs to ease that slope especially now havin a friggin rig to hual em..lol..wish me n my cousin could drive up and see the place we’ve both loved bikes and had a few our whole lives…he lost a bagger you would die for all murdered out over $50k in the flood in Fleming neon Ky..still got a built 883 1200 kit…mikuni…buel heads..ignition..round 100hp..friggin rrriippp a couple houses off foundations I’m tellin ya..hardest pullin bike I’ve rode..I miss my 90s 2 smokers…
I was aware of the Vivid Black 2003 Wide Glide , ( I still own one ) , and also the incorrectly 50 year anniversary black/silver posing as 100 years old . 100 years old is Gold , 50 is silver .So either Harley owes me some cash on not getting Gold , or Harley owes the Silver/Black models . Either way , I Love my Wide Glide . That one looks blue ?
I'm with ya, I like a bare bones motorcycle. If I had to tour w/ bags I'd go Gold Wing.. But that's a beauty there, didn't know you sold youres. You can get another later after you've made you're 10 mil.!!!
I ride a 99 FXDWG. Just put 900 on it to Sturgis one way with just gas stops. Honestly this bike I will probably keep. Its my eptimode of HD. Bare bones, chrome, carb potato sound, knucks up in the air with a lil rake to it. I still get flack for it being a "chick bike" from the bagger crowd but who cares.
I want to get an 883L and install the hooligan kit, 1in renthal bars, stunt crash bars and stiffer rear suspension this summer. Build a harley wheelie machine!
I have an opportunity to buy this bike at a really good deal, but don’t have a lot of experience. I’ve been riding a Honda Navi for a few months actually - lol. I’m 5’9” 200 … ready for more power, but is this too much too soon?
I had an 03 Lowrider with the silver and black paint with the 100 year badges and the leather saddle bags w/badges, but I sold it to a retired Marine/ police officer cheap because he didn’t have a lot of money and I knew he would take good care of it. My favorite bike.
I love this guy… I want to be like this guy when I’m 58… Muscles… Tank top… Knife on your belt. This guy is living the dream.
Just do it man! 💪
dont forget the sideburns ;)
forgot the mullet ! mostly all party tho not much business up front !! lol
Just got my first real bike. Grew up riding Yamaha dt175's. So pulled the trigger on a 2002 wide glide 48k miles. Super clean and gave $2900 for it.
When I was a kid, the Dyna Wide Glides and the FXSTs were the epitome of a Harley Davidson to me, still to this day! I love that classic raw look!
Gotta agree.
Same here
Agree 100%

Still riding my 2000 Wide Glide. Been across the country a couple times on it. Mostly stock. I love it.
I just got my 2012 Dyna Wide Glide. It is awesome! What a fabulous smooth ride! Love my new ride!
I recently bought a clean low mileage 04 fxdwg , its my first Dyna , ive always had soft tails. I really dig it. To me the wide glide is one of rhe best looking HDs ever made. USA #1 👍

This is how a Harley-Davidson should look. Love my 2011 WG.
Sun's out Harley's out !🤘

Just bought a 2004 wide glide with 6200 miles on it looks new I love it 👍🤠
Looking at a low rider until now, you make it look fun to be on a wide glide, good Salesman!! I hate that the new line up is basically 50k
Love those older FXDWGs

I saw a 2002 model, but it caught my attention that the clutch is further back, I think at the height of the crankcase. Is this normal?

Is this bike sold?.
Just picked up a one owner 03 dyna lowrider with 11k on the clock for 4k. Did I do good?
Damn good! Was that from ray in ct?
@KAPLAN AMERICA no sir! I'm from VA, but mad my way down to NC.
Looks sick. With the twin cams that come through your dealership do you run into problems with the cam plate tensioners?
No we do the easy fix
@@KaplanCycles The easy fix is ?? Just replace the stock tensioners ?
@@chrisponter4739I’d probably replace the whole thing with a gear drive cam
Ken💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
hey could you tell me how tall you are? I'm bit afraid of my height on a wide glide, im 6'2
6'2"!
