@@TimTamSlam2 I would say it’s close. Country ham just has a sweet spot for me. Any batch like Ham and this 23-04 I usually get 3/4 of them to enjoy over time.
New subscriber. Booker’s 2023-03 just hit the shelves in IL and I just picked one up. Have not cracked it open yet. I have all 3 of 2023 releases and will pick up 2023-04 when I see it. Loved Little Book Chapter 7. I also have all 3 Hardin’s Creek releases this year and think they are all fantastic. What’s not to love about 17 year old Beam? 🥃
Heck yeah, Beam knows how to bring the flavor. I feel like some of the allocated stuff from other distilleries that generates all the hype gets all the attention these days while Beam keeps delivering under the radar

Picked up this bottle today, my first Bookers find. Was looking for a review to listen to while I played some Assassin's Creed II. I thought, man, I know that voice... Booker's is so good at the price point. Only $80 for that much flavor when some craft distilleries are putting worse products out there for $120. It's a no brainer for me.
Bought my first Booker's today 2023-04. Had to hold my breath paying for it, sure wasn't $80 😮 it was $107 here in Texas 😢 looking forward to trying it.
Love a good Booker’s. 2023-04 batch might be best batch for the year but definitely need to compare it to the rest. Also that Hardins Creek release I saw early on in the camera roll, is a real hitter of a bottle.

I agree - Charlie’s Batch is top on 2023 by just a smidge over Storyteller’s. Both are the most balanced of the year. I don’t dislike Mighty Fine, but it’s a bit more of an uneven ride on the palate. Overall, glad to have all three.

The Beam distillery wasn't one we hit when we started the bourbon trail last year but definitely going to go next year when we go back.
Just picked this up and cracked it yesterday. My fav batch in years!
Someone in my local group even said it beat out Country Ham and Beaten Biscuits for him. Can’t wait to get my hands on it.

Heck yeah man! Batch 4 was such a nice surprise, really loved it and have poured it multiple times since this video.
It's a more rugged version of Jim Beam Single Barrel to me, with very similar noses and palates.

This is my first Bookers so i guess I'll need to get another batch to know what it typically tastes like.

This was my first bookers I was able to get. I must say this is currently my favorite bourbon now and will be trying to get all future releases
