0:34 “Tonight, Latrell Mitchell and Josh Addo-Carr apologize after a deadly torpedo attack.”
🤣
I'm glad you noticed it ;-)
We all noticed it😂
I admire the fact that Rob Brough can be in so many places
The Sunshine Coast edition is broadcast live, and he spends the rest of his day recording the other three billion Queensland local editions 😂
@@cameronc393 in the Mackay intro what is the third group mentioned after the Whitsundays?
@@cameronc393 Yes, that's exactly how it's done.
@@aaronhumes6267 The Coalfields, a collective term for the Central Queensland coal mines.
@@strathruncie Thanks. Aussie accent a little thicker there
The ABC's graphics are very cool!
ABC TV's graphics are always better than the rest of the Aussie television, because it's public, corporate and financial to the australian government!
Those graphics just makes it look more like an european TV than american, in which most of the networks in Australia have based of.
Yeah! I also find it cool that they have an international channel too (along with a separate international version of iView, their catch-up TV service), 'ABC Australia', which happens to be made up mostly of news, but does also have some other interesting stuff. I live in Singapore, where the channel is available on both pay TV providers here.
Sure, they licence a lot of the good entertainment stuff to other companies (the ABC had licenced out various ABC For Kids programmes to Disney for non-Australian broadcasting and streaming for years), but I believe that's for the wider reach, since I think the ABC Australia channel is mainly available across Asia Pacific, however, they do still broadcast some interesting stuff they wouldn't have been able to licence out to other broadcasters.
@@kbhasi Really? I didn't know you could get the ABC in SG? We get CNA is AUS but only via UA-cam. Both are a bit similar in my opinion but also quite different.
@@beachbungalowscarborough1006
Yes, but just their one international channel and only on pay TV.
The version of CNA viewers receive outside Singapore is the international feed, via UA-cam, the CNA website, and it seems to also be available on Fetch TV based on what I saw in another video. That international feed has different ad breaks to hide promos for programming on other Mediacorp TV channels, as well as advertising for local companies, and some programmes are replaced due to licencing restrictions that would only allow them to broadcast them within Singapore, but CNA's own programming should be watchable on the international feed.
To be fair, CNN, Fox News, and Sky News (UK) all do a similar thing with their international feeds, whereas the BBC just has a separate international news channel.
Here in Singapore, I get CNA's domestic feed, which also means I can watch it over the air here without pay TV.
Agree
That little noise when the background appears for the 10 opens is an interesting touch.
Top ten things Australians love:
1. Rob Brough
@AK Gaming Vids wait wheres vegemite
That last anchor. LOL
i just noticed that sbs world news intro sounds like the last part of the abc news intro
as an australian, i recognised all of these and sang them all out loud lmao
These Australian News intros look great.
0:38 HOW TF THEY DIDN'T END UP IN JAIL AFTER SUCH AN ATTACK, LIKE WTF?😂😂😂
Seven News is giving off NBC vibes, from the theme to title sequence!
The Mission remains NBC's chief theme music; the Aussies jazzed up their version
It needs a new theme and a new look
They have been for over 20 years or more
that's because they literally inherited those vibes
I love how you merge the headlines.
“The man who was behind the wheel of Kim Jong Un”
I KNEW IT!! He was created by Jim Henson.
"Latrell Mitchell and Josh Addo Carr apologise after a deadly torpedo attack." Hold up, WHAT!?
Biggest. BRUH. Moment. EVER
best viewed when upside down

"welcome to 7 news for the first time in a month
Good to see Tassie on the list as 7 news Tasmania is one of the most watched news there. Oddly enough John hunt who is in the spencer gulf one actually is a reporter for 7 news tas now
ABC News and 9 News intros brings back childhood memories
3:13 gold haahhahahhahah
Australia news looks like a mix of American and Europe style.
@Java Caffeine Asian is not that style, especially with the music melody. And Asia TV not using announcement voice to present program that much.
American from 7's NBC theme, "The Mission," and 9's "Cool Hand Luke/Eyewitness News."
@@JayJayFilmbox Well, the majority of Asian TV has a different style of intro and music melody like Malaysia, Philippines or Indonesia but not Japan, the japanese always know how to make news in a very stylish, charming and futuristic vibe to it, but the music... meh, it's not that "newsy" and urgent kind of style we all accept the most, but it still has an anime-like and videogame feel to it, in which I love so much since as a kid!
Sadly, we don't have music and intros like these in my country, Brazil... :(
@@k2playpedroariel481 Japan always keeps unique on everything. Actually, Japanese television has more interesting things than that.
@@gregsells8549 Not just the theme, the way they present the news, studio set, graphics and everything between too.
Lots of Love for ABC News, very stylish and modern intro's.10 news is also quite sleek, 7 and 9 news look very American and a bit tacky.
I’m an American and for some reason the News Seven soundtracks sounds familiar to our NBC Nightly News Soundtrack . Is it only me?
It's the same theme called The Mission by John Williams. NBC commissioned it in the 1980s and soon after Seven News bought the rights to use it.
ABC News is stately and the theme is lovely, very modern and European looking. I don't like Seven and Nine, seem extremely over the top, local ambulance-chasing American news (yes, I know, NBC and Eyewitness, but still, they're national channels).
Rob Brough must be the most wanted man in Queensland.
to be honest, seven really is a bit over the top. Nine is actually quite good. The channel that really is over the top is current affair.
channel Seven is kinda very American channel
SBS sounds so good
Hybrid Commercial-Publicly funding. Also it's made mainly for people, who moved into Australia, but anyone can watch it.
1:33 WITH GEORGIA GOD
Sky news is like the Australian Fox News
Very much so
Because they have the same owner.
Thank you so much for making this!
I never thought I'd see this! I live in Singapore and sometimes get to travel to Perth to stay with some family members for the holidays (not during the pandemic 🙃), so I'm accustomed to seeing the Perth news bulletins and their openings, but I never thought I'd get to see the other regional openings!
(5:33) I imagine they say 'Queensland' instead of 'Brisbane' in order to compensate for the Gold Coast.
Each state's capital city bulletin is usually played to the whole state, so you can be in the middle of nowhere NSW and see the "Sydney" bulletin (delayed until after the local news). Just seems to be a weird matter of convention that they always label Brisbane's differently to the others. All the networks have done it for ages. Maybe because Queensland is relatively decentralised??
Yes and no - identity is a bit different up there... because of how large and populous Brisbane city is... which is an unusual thing in Australian local government... and the rich history of all the separate areas... those on the outskirts of Brisbane city itself (like Ipswich, Redcliffe, the Redlands) can and do call themselves staunchly "not Brisbane".
And that's without talking about the Gold and Sunshine Coasts too as you say, which are both signal overlap areas and get two sets of stations (however redundant that has been since the 1990s).
The unifying thread of identity instead is that they're Queenslanders, and thus the term "South-East Queensland" came to be used instead of "Greater Brisbane". Identifying as a "Brisbane" bulletin may well end up a turn-off to some.
@@Spi-AU
Ah. Thanks for the explanation!
The abc evening news one is the best
Oh damn you have the old ABC News Victoria set. If you can track the new one down I think it's the best ABC News presentation in the country now...
3:48 ABC News Mornings
2 NRL Stars apologize...AFTER A DEADLY TORPEDO ATTACK??? 😂😂😂 BAD editing, that! 🤣🤣🤣
never liked channel 9 intro. i mute whenever it's on.
IKR?
Keep up the good work!
Love your channel ! 👏 Will you do France at all ? I stayed in Paris for a week just before the Covid 19 situation and their news look absolutely stunning, probably the best I’ve seen in Europe ! would be curious to see a compilation 😉 (I’ve seen some great stuff in northern Belgium too, think it was in dutch though...)
Thank you very much. Yes I am planning to do France but it might be a couple of weeks. France 2 and France 3 changed a lot of their news output due to you-know-what (e.g. "Edition spéciale" instead of normal openers) and I would like to show the normal versions whenever possible. So as soon as they return, I will start recording. Also, Belgium, the Netherlands and the UK are in the works.
They uploaded it 4 months later:

0:11: “COVIDSafe success, easing its strict lockdown”
Wow, already? x)
I like 10 news first
Canadian and Australian News intro seem veeery American to me...
The 7 News is especially so because their graphics and music are slightly different versions of NBC Nightly News here in the states
Love 7 News would you upload American news ? I’m missing the NBC News
Rob Brough is enslaved by the broadcaster
great video, any chance to have an updated as most networks have changed their openings recently. Thanks
NBN NEWS , SUNRISE, THE MORNING SHOW, Today & Today Extra are missing
The morning show is not added because it's on Apple TV in every country not only Australia
@NintendoAndDanTheManGamer5674 There is 2 of them, the apple TV one and the one hosted by Larry Edmur & Kylie Gilles
ABC News music and visuals are so cool!!!
You've done all the ABC News ones wrong.. it doesn't start on the date slide
I always omit the headlines to put the focus on the actual intros.
@@tevebits But you didn't with Seven, Nine, etc?
1:30
Would you be able to provide
Seven News needs a refresh …. getting old and stale!
Nah, it still looks good, since it’s from 2016. Give it a few more years.
Your wish was granted lol
Make an updated varient (plz)

Okay, never expect Australia.
Why? Many Australian channels always have great design, especialy ABC with it's iconic news theme.
@@audiaudi873 But I do love the 9 News theme which is "Cool Hand Luke: The Tar Sequence/Eyewitness News" from Lalo Schifrin, such a classic theme (the true definition of news) and Seven News theme which is "NBC's The Mission" by John Williams, one beast of an american film composer and maestro!
Anyone else hear 'Where in the World? PC World" when the 10 News music comes on?
ua-cam.com/video/h3wssarFnHU/v-deo.html
Yoo! Coming!
australian news style looks like using usa format, compared to uk news
a mix of europe and american to be exact.
I find 7news and 9news sooooo american, mostly 7news tho
@@rodexproduction8369 yeah getting sick and tired of it

Great idea! The Netherlands is coming up after the UK, which is next.
tevebits Try to Malaysia News Compilation
@@jaylando5508 And cheap-like MIDI music? Yes, I know that as well, especially in Indonesia which it is the worst of them all, I hate it to watch.
They all look like they've used stock templates and they sound like the music has made out of imagination without thinking it's urgent, it's important and it's epic as their news itself.
