How To Create An Italo House Inspired Loop - With Kepler (Tutorial)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 18 вер 2024
- In this tutorial we take a look into the underground Italian House style of the early 1990s, with reference to artists like Don Carlos and labels such as UMM and Interactive Test. In the 45 minute video, we break down a pre-made loop and then we build something from scratch using the percussive synth sounds of Rob Papen's Blue, some old school AKAI drum samples and the bass from the Roland SH-101 VST.

PPG, Juno 60, Korg M1, Alpha Juno & DX7 were mostly used for the big Italian House records from 1990 - 92. Amazing times.
Italo House has to be the most underrated genre of house ever. After years of experimenting with different genres I think I've found my sound! I love it so much I've even started producing it myself, having so much fun with it. I've learnt so much about the history of the genre from the famous Lately Bass patch found on the Yamaha tx81z and the loon bird sample found on the E-mu Emulator II.
The loon bird !❤
I’m glad you enjoyed the content mate!
Masterpiece❤
These vids are game changing man, ur a ledge
Thank you!
So many great Italian releases just got drowned in a sea of Strictly Rhythm.
Really nice feel, the example is a real anthem in house
Alone is a goated track
agreed!
Sorry to sound a bit silly but, does goated mean samples were taken from a goat? Or inspiration came from a goat? I’m 71 so I’m not really up to date with the lingo
Bless you for this video bro fucking insane! I just needed someone to go through a track like that all along feel like something clicked!
Glad we could help mate! A lot more tutorials over on our website!
Man, check out Sasha's stuff from that time period. The Italian Sasha, not the famous Dj Sasha. Anyway, his releases are soooo good.
Have you realeased your track i wanna buy!
Spacer Woman, Take a Chance, etc is Italo. This is closer to old school house, lately bass etc.
you are incorrect, hes talking about italo house (balearic sounding house with lush pads etc) - not italo disco / eurodance with the arps that youre thinking of. thanks for playing though
@@thomasrussell2812this comment is spot on. this is definitely balearic house.
