    PPG, Juno 60, Korg M1, Alpha Juno & DX7 were mostly used for the big Italian House records from 1990 - 92. Amazing times.

      Didn't realise there were rules for how fast Progressive House should be? In this tutorial, as mentioned in the beginning and in the description we're specifically focussing on the modern sound of Prog - artists like Spray and labels like Kalahari Oyster Cult where you often find tracks 135bpm - 140bpm.

      @@keplermusic2991 well its not a rule, just saying that 126 to 130 is the most common bpm, can go down to 120bpm to 130,

    With the typical teaching style of "start with an 8 bar loop" its usually the chorus and I had no idea how to not give it all away early on. Tip #2 is really eye opening; avoid boredom by keeping the simpler version of the element and adding complexity as you go

      I've been producing music for about 15 years, I have a degree in music production, a teaching qualification including over 8 years of teaching experience (including colleges, universities and my own online music school).
