Everyone in the comments is talking about the drummer. But nobody is talking about that delicious bass tone.
So right mate :-) The bass lines are awesome!
such commets from diiots so relax. As ex-orchesta player i can say if 1 musical instrument is bad all musical composition is bad. So they all perfect. Dont listen idiots.
Yeah huh. Yeah huh.
It's chocolatey with a hint of mint, mmmmmmm.......
Scrumptious
Dang, Brian's bass tone is a hammer blow of truth.
I just LOVED watched Brian play live last time I saw them: he was playing the bass, and somehow managing to extend the pinkie finger of his fretting hand to trigger a sampler at the same time. Talk about multitasking!
From Buenos Aires, Argentina. Incredible band. Wonderful sound. Full metal power. Atmospheric, dense, dark. Great performance on every track. I'm fan since I've listened to them for the very first time.
Hearing him drum I get instant MOIST! God hes amazing. Russian Circles have the their own genre!!!!
Dedicated fan for years now, these guys are just unrivaled. I'm even seeing them later tonight!
Dave, you are a sick drummer dude, one of my favorites. Nobody rocks the bass effects like Brian Cook, definitely helps make the 3 member group sound like 4, and Mike...you just straight up rock man.
An unrivaled trio.
Never heard of these guy's before. Until they opened up for Mastodon at the Hollywood Palladium. I became a fan Instantly.
MrAmigo82 Same. One of the best light shows I've ever seen. I was sucked in for the whole set.
Same :-) in Boston. They were Amazing!!!
MrAmigo82 i think I was there that night. I got to have a guitar lesson with Bill Kelliher earlier in the day. Was Eagles of Death metal also opening?
Same for me but at a Gojira concert. These three bands are on whole other level than anyone. The world needs more of this.
Good thinking - right there brother 🤘
I'd love to see a live studio session of Deficit. That would be killer.
OMG Deficit
Russian Circle is just over the top, All three are great musician...and their drummer is probably the best Drummer of this generation...exceptional. I love how the guitar and bass guitar provides the harmonic backdrop to the groove
They are awesome, I love how their sound!!
Just got this link from my little brother, which i use to be in band with. He was the singer i was the drummer. We still push music to each other, and this link i got today. He knows i´m crazy for Isis & Pelican, and i must say....i´m all IN!
These guys opened for Mastodon at Hard Rock. Amazing live band. Instant fan.
Mastodon was the coolin down after...
This is one of those songs where it ends and I'm just like "....YEAH!"
This metal is tripped out.....very brutal n deep!
Heavy. Aggressive. Hard. Motivating.
Well done men.
and has some dark feeling
Chicks dig that !
I saw these guys supporting Mastodon a couple months ago and this was the song they opened with. The bass tone alone felt like it could shift mountains.
This drummer must have an amazing right leg
theArchive1O he actually does. He told us the story how he got a leg that strong
and that's why he always walks in a curve.
Better than studio version. And why do I keep picturing a skeleton dancing
How are so many of my favorite bands on Sargent House? How can one label be so amazing?
8 years later and a UA-cam rabbit hole has graced me with this. One of those moments you realise how incomplete your life has been until that moment.
Saw these guys with Coheed and I have to admit I didn't like them at first...
But now I can't get enough of these dudes!!! I started digging them after like the 2nd song at the concert. Reminds me of newer Mastodon stuff.
in my opinion. russian circles is a saving grace for all us music nerds.
By any chance are you a neurosis fan?
that drummer...
Arno Burtner Dave Turncrantz is a fucking B E A S T
Easily one of the best alive.
i particularly like the drumms on these sessions, does this cat play Vistalites live? they sound amazing
I am a stoner-psychedelica singer songwriter looking for bands to groove with !! Share the love...!! dani bandolier - i am available worldwide
look for me in UA-cam - dani bandolier

peace and love my brothers and sisters
@@paulstanley2194 extremely old comment, but he usually plays stainless steel Ludwigs on tour nowadays.
just saw them in San Francisco tonight for the first AND NOT last time! One of the best live bands I've ever seen. These guys are incredible \m/
This band is like 3 masters coming together. Respect, confidence, telepathy and skil.
Thats 4 tho
lmao
This is such a deep, moving, powerful and hauntingly beautiful song.
Une énergie que j'aime beaucoup, surtout celle du batteur, dingue! Ça nettoie les oreilles et bravo à votre trio de cette belle composition!
This is a great band ! Incredible sound really amazing
This performance is ridiculous. They have to be one of the most powerful 3 pieces ever!
Wow just knew them...i should have listened it ....extremly kick ass
Наши глаза от слез ослепли
One of the greatest performances I've heard... because my eyes were closed the entire time. That feel.
this calls music.
Yes, they are sick live. 💜
5:33
Seen them twice, and that's too few. Never closed my eyes in a concert before, not even with Gojira, Ne Obliviscaris, Megadeth, Jinjer... No one. You guys are something else.
agreed man, when that drum hits in right there it's brutal
This is like....If Adam, Justin, and Danny from TOOL never discovered Maynard and just decided to go and make music anyways without a singer. I am in love.
Do u know about Isis & Pelican? Otherwise, check em´out :-)
If these trees could talk is good, explosions in the sky too. A lot sadder and less satanic sounding at times though on both counts.
such a band man
Great atmosphere.
I can't believe I'm going to go see Coheed, BTBAM, and these guys.
Gonna some great stuff.
i just came back from their live in Hong Kong, it was so fucking great, their transitions between songs are tremendous, US$30 tic but worth well over $100 like other big names bands. couldnt talk to them though
Saw these guys open for coheed in Minneapolis, freakin awesome, much better fit than between the buried and me
Very floydian and black..................................awesome !
good god this is awesome. bow before this band, all ye who are in bands.
bass drum sounds incredible. holy
1:43 When shit gets real :D
Extreme coolness...
Oh god!! What an awesome concert they did in Barcelona last weekend! If you want to check the review you will find it in our site ;)
Cant wait to see them opening for the SOAD/KORN/ Faith No More show in May!!!!
That fucking bass drum part is a good kick drum practice routine
"I knew all of their lyrics"
I see what you did there.
This piece of music is ridiculously important
Fucking awesome!!!!
how much I love this band I can't tell
seen them with btbam in toronto last week, for haveing only 3 people this band they have one massive sound and they know how to command the stage
SUPER CHINGONSISIMA LA BANDA.. BUENA ROLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
well played!
Top!
No words….
Between the Buried and Me is Prog Metal royalty. Show some fucking respect.
Fucking GREAT.
Dave's kit is a beauty.
SICKKKK !!!!
I've seen them three times. Worth every penny.
If you see one of the guys, talk to them. They are great in every aspect.
Makes me want to play drums... I tried to choose one of their albums to purchase but I couldn't decide which one... Hmm...
I cannot believe how good they sound live. I also love the fact that I feel like because I know who they are and others dont, It makes me feel part of something special. However I do want them to be successful.
seen them twice can confirm
Went to see mastodon in 2018 or something, there was them The Eagles Of Death Metal (They Blew got bood offstage, sounded like a fucking band practice tbh) and Russian circles comes out, blew my goddamm mind we were hype, best shit ever been listening ever since.
All that sound from 3 dudes? WOW AF!
We need the other two parts!!
Usually there is a band and the drummer does the background job. For this band it's the other way around. Drummer is the band and the other guys do the background job for him.
You should check a band called Don Caballero. They took that idea to a whole new level ( I'd put my hand in the fire and say that this drummer is a huge Don Cab head )
I see what you’re saying, but the bass and guitar are amazing.
Brian's base line at 1:49 is fuckin nastayy
It's Brian's bass cab feedback. It's the best fucking thing.
DAMN I love those guys. Seen them 3 time so far and they've never disappointed.
Greetings from a Thrice fan!
Fuck yeah
breathless
Soundtrack for the next Doom game ? Reminds me of what I imagined Doom 2 and D3BFG should have sounded like.
+10100rsn I would kill to hear them cover some Doom tracks.
This video does not do justice to their live sound! I wish every person on this planet could see them live!
I love the use of feedback by the bass player @ 3:43. These guys show intelligence and intensity along with fat, dirty tone. Love it!
That fuckin meat smoke is amazing sounding ... Shredders
Crazy how this version sounds better than the LP.
i like to say it plows the universe
🤘😎
what an amazing hard post rock atmosphere, simply amazing how they combine instruments to make such a profound sound.
Turncrantz is a fuckin savage!!
oh god, this has a HUGE potential to become as big as Mastodon,...
breathtaking
maybe the best post metal song ever written...
that guitar sounds massive!
Pedal Tapdancing at it’s absolute best.
Where's part 2 and 3?
my fucking favourite song.
This is the piece that got me interested in this band. The entire album is great. Any band that names themselves after a hockey drill has got to be great.
fucking art
this band will forever be in the circle of my music influence. Glad to have such great experience watching them live few years ago.
That Purdie Shuffle man. Breaks my neck every time I hear it. I can't wait to see you guys in Des Moines. Bring the shuffle because Ill be bringing my neck.
Sick purdie shuffle
i lol'd at that guys comment. i feel more sorry for that dude than angry, unless he was having a laugh, then i would love his comment. I've seen Russian Circles three times, two of which was the same tour, and I travelled by airplane to the second show, thats how fuckin good they are.
I wouldn't attend the shows with coheed as headliners. for that reason precisely.
5:14 onward, I nominate this to be the new Zerg theme, it sounds exactly like something they'd dominate the universe over.
5:22 Brian is like "Shit i forgot to feed the Cat!"
Dude Deluxe that is the perfect description for that face
From Turkey I Love Russian Circles
delgada POWER
WOW!
This guys are so good!
