Maybe the driver didn’t expect that there was ice under a foot of snow!!! ??? Could have used the blade to push the snow and break the ice on the first run. Then reversed out and reversed back down and then extended the blade (left or right) to clear the road. Also noticed a good neighbour had cleared his driveway with a humble shovel. Bravo there! Shovel Wins - Grader Failed!
All you people judging this person and have no idea about the situation make yourselves look like the idiot. It's obvious that the driver is new ( like we all were or gonna be at some point in our lives) or ther is a problem with the diff lock and he or she is making the best of a bad sitution. I'm 45 yrs old and gonna learn how to drive a grader this year. Never stop learning.
hill billy. FIRST MISTAKE : it is OPERATE . . . NOT DRIVE !!!!!!!!!! This guy is trying to "drive" this equipment like he is "driving " a car. He us tearing up machine. This is why companies do not want to train ppl on their equipment.
Wouldn’t matter what pressure was in those tires they are for dirt or gravel not heavy packing snow I feel bad for the operator to be sent out in those conditions with that thing
I don’t think this machine sees very much winter action or they would have proper winter tires or chains ,I am guessing they got caught in heavy snow and some smart boss thought this would be the answer graders work much better in culdesacs then trucks because of visibility been there done that feel bad for operator a lot of coffee shop wizards know more than he does
A few observations from a long time plower. A spinning tire(s) just glazes the snow into a polished icey surface. Ya can't spin the wheels and get much progress. The main issue with a center bladed snow plow, is that you have driven over the snow with the front wheels and packed it down, unlike a front bladed plow on a pick up or dump truck. If you have a diff lock or separate right and left brakes you should use them. They don't call them "road graders" because they are good at snow plowing. NOPE. That grade should really be running chains in the winter.
How embarassing.
I've never heard of a road grader getting stuck in a couple inches of snow.
O yea poor tires, mild day, down slope of street and diff lock not on and Grader is useless !
Union operators. They get paid by the hour and don't have to work hard.
Needs a front plow instead of just the belly blade. Chains would not hurt.
If you don't know where the diff lock is....stay out of the grader.....And buy some chains...
OHJUSTFORKU exactly what I was thinking. it's not a 6x6 but if he locked the diffs he'd be all set. dumbass.
that and the moron can't even figure out how to pull himself out with the mowboard
Wrong tires for that job get some Bridgestone snow edges and never look back
OHJUSTFORKU goo hubs

Got to have tire chains! tires are useless!!!!!!
heres a tip. don't turn your steering wheels if your drive wheels are spinning. Dont leave your grader where an 8 year old can steal it
Yes, he should have chains, but this guy doesn't know how to run his machine! Maybe he's a last minute substitute, nubbie?
Were is the snow plow I just see a road grader
Yes they are meant for hard packed gravel roads at least give the poor bastard a set of winter tires
Why would you plow a cul de sac with a grader ? And why no chains ?

Snow turn to ice when you spin many tonns on top of it.. chains is a must,always..
Lock up your diffs.
Why dont he have tire chains on this John Deere blade? Does he not work for the city/county??????
chains needed
Difficult to tell, but I think it's a steep grade. He only slides to the left of the screen.
What a goof when you spin the tires you make ice.
And you could do better, goof
Gotta say also chains make all the difference

hill billy I agree, this week I’m going to learn how to get a grader stuck.

Lack of experience and common sense
Nube!
The man does not know how to push snow
Dollar tree is hiring
that was painful to watch
Motor grader not a snow plow. If he angles the mowboard right, it would blade some snow.
ยังไม่ทันได้เกรดเลย ล้อก็หมุนฟรีซ๊ะแล้ว อย่างนี้ต้องใช้แทร็คเตอร์ตีนตะขาบมั๊งถึงจะไหว
geez I use a motor grader for snow removal with no 6wd and don't have this kind of trouble. I am curious on how much air pressure he is running.

How do you spell diff lock
Thats what chains are for
ahahaahaha lugged tires in snow. a finer tread radial is the best. Not the dirt work tires its got...
Finally someone with some sense diff lock or not that thing wouldn’t pull a hen off it’s nest with those tires
num nuts!

That's a gutless road grader!
