- Do you avoid using eggs because of dietary, religious or health reasons? Do you always wonder what can you replace egg with when you're baking cakes, cookies, brownies and other desserts? I know most of the baking recipes on the Internet call for eggs and for someone who does not use eggs, it could be problematic. I'm excited to share a list of ingredients that make for great #EggSubstitutes

This is THE baking tutorial required for all the home bakers out there, who do NOT eat eggs, like me. Thank you so much for putting this up 💓
1. Flax egg (1 tbsp instead of 1 egg) - used in cookies, brownies
2. Chia egg (1 tbsp instead of 1 egg) - used in cookies
3. Mashed banana (1/4th cup) - used in pancakes, brownies
4. Yoghurt (1/4th cup) - used in cakes or muffins
5. Sour cream/ buttermilk (1/4th cup) - used in pancakes or waffles
6. Applesauce/aquafaba (1/4th cup) - used in macaroons, Japanese cheesecake
7. Condensed milk (1/4th cup) - used in cakes or muffins

This was suuuuuper helpful. I got my first order for an Indian vegetarian cake, no egg but milk is ok. All the other egg substitute videos focused on vegan so skipped all these wonderful milk based options.

Great video with a lot of options! You forgot blended tofu. It works well in cookies and cakes like the flax egg. 1/4 C = 1 egg of tofu blended with enough water to have an egg like consistency. I recently also have seen whipped flax gel used to make macarons. I wonder if that would work in choux or eclairs?

Pls do a vlog abt the most common imperfections people encounter when we attempt baking at home and ways to overcome them. For eg..sometimes cakes flatten from the centre after rising in the oven !!
