Sad truth! I can relate. At the age of 10 I realized that I can not respect my father nor learn anything good from him. Its nice to find a "father" somewhere. Even on the internet.

@@egorgordeev468 don't think like that... Out of relationships or anything else, you can achieve multiple perspective and you can obtain goods in even bad situations just if you're actually paying attention maybe even your father teached you something with his bad father figure that is you're not actually aware, think about that in people's every second of their life they can realize what actually they miss. This is like you are reading a book I mean reading multiple times and then you became more aware what actually there is lying in.

Ricardo Alvarez He is one of the most honest person, I have ever seen.
He truly understands how the mind works. Going through a tough time, right now. He has helped me tremendously. The JRE in particular. With guest like him and Dr Rhonda Patrick. Giving me the tools I need to move foward.
We all hit low points, I wouldn't of reached these low points without high points.
In every failure there is many lessons learned. That not many. Schools will teach you.
Can tell he has life experience.

    • @thebackchannel1641

Tony Robbins IMHO appears an to be a man who is charismatic, speaks very well, aesthetically pleasing and demonstrates a willingness to "help" people who don't really need to be helped except for their own false perceptions of themselves being "less than" in their heads. How can you tell? Tony charges BIG money to listen to what he says. The people who don't need his help are the only people who can afford to pay for the short term pep talk. That makes him (w/ all due respect), a rebooted 1970's Me Generation pop-psychology guru whose expertise is in the massaging of egos. How else is he supposed to get rich? Working at a real job? ROFLMAO!

I knew JP really was something special when I started noticing all the UA-cam comments on his videos. For the last 10 years I’ve been accustomed to 99% of videos having endless threads of negative comments and people verbally criticizing and abusing each other for really trivial things, regardless of the video itself. You can watch a damn video on cats and people will find a way to start an argument with each other that turns really nasty. For the longest time I’ve wondered if we’re all just secretly angry and have a lot of pent up resentment (which maybe is still true). Then I came across JP. 99% of the comments on his videos are positive and uplifting, both the comments themselves and their replies. It’s truly inspirational and telling that he is hitting the right cord with so many people. God bless this man and everyone of you here. I have so much more faith in people now :)

Dear Jordan, Thank you. I have acheived a lot in my fragile state of human existance. I have sought to help others all my life, in avery small way i have contributed in a positive way to humanity. I did this with courage, and discovered along the way what courage is. I then knew how important it is to stand up and seek to grow as a person in all my brokeness and alllow justice and kindness to flow from my actions. This in a gentle meek way i offer myself as a christain not perfect but broken. I will only be ridiculed by those who do not know or seek God with all their hearts and soul laid open

This is what "cleaning your room" is all about. It's having the mindset to make a place you're in better than it was when you entered it. You start by sorting your room; then you go out and sort other aspects of your life. As you sort out your life, you sort out yourself.

This is why I like Peterson, even if you may disagree with the details of his criticisms of postmodernism, or of gender issues or whatever, I think you should still admire this side of the guy, very inspiring stuff, gives many people a reason to get out of bed in the morning and improve their situation. If everybody improved their situation just by a small amount in a month, the world would have already become a better place imo.

Make Things Better Wherever You Are: many people are impressed by Japanese service levels, which basically arise out of the type of decision this part of your lecture is recommending that young people take... and I have noticed that their outlook on this is affected by a discussion activity that they have in public elementary and junior high schools (slated to be converted into a graded class similar to music or art) roughly translated as "moral education"... where a topic situation is introduced and the students discuss what they think the best course of action would be in that situation, and students hear from their classmates what their classmates would think of them if they lied, bragged, or did the best job possible even if it were a job like cleaning out the classroom rabbit's cage (vs. doing a lousy job because they didn't like the task). Week by week, year by year, this is a well-thought-out way to build civic culture...

I don't know how many hours of JP lectures and podcasts I've listened to over the past 12/18 months ... growing up having never knowing my dad, or having a solid family structure ... I never had any rules, and don't get me wrong through making my own mistakes I've learnt what works and doesn't work for me, but I've never had the wisdom to go beyond my own mindset, and JP is like a dad telling me exactly what I need to push through. I still have dragons to slay, and I've grown so tired of living a meaningless life by chasing pleasures ... porn, drugs, escorts, comfort eating ... that in the end I decided it was time to stand up tall, bare my responsibility as a grown man and to stop blaming the world my for failings and to look at my own actions. I still have moments where I fall back on these habits as I get lonely, but each morning I try my best to put one foot in front of the next ...
    God bless.

I'm currently working at a job with two coworkers that keep complaining about any new little tasks we have to do, even though we have A LOT of downtime at this job beeing able to do anything we want during that downtime because the boss is absent 99% of the time.
It has come to the point where I'm trying my best to do any task that comes up and my coworker tries to convince me to stop working the way I am right now.
I'm already getting paid more (on a hourly rate) than they are working there for a year compared to their three years experience
My father has taught me this behavior at work, just like him I rather go to work feeling sick than leaving my coworkers to do extra

7:20 Cain and Abel represent adopting the responsibility vs not (doing what you know us right vs not)
8:00 People don’t see God because they don’t lower themselves enough to see Him (humble themselves and realize/utilize the things God has given them right under their noses)
9:57 he hides from God and doesn’t do what he knows he must do (face God, admit/confess mistake/mess, take responsibility) because he is ashamed/insecure of his inadequacy. He doesn’t aim up towards what He truly knows is best for him (instead he hides from it and aims down by not taking responsibility) because he was afraid of the consequences

    Jordan B. Peterson's overall point:
*For confidence or competence; modulate tension levels, which in turn alters emotional concentration, the flow which consolidates into your thoughts.-Be COMPETENT!*
    Remember:
Testicles test the best of us, to those who pass the test; great clarity of perception descends, along with fluidity of sharpened acuity in all mental faculties. Can you pass the test?

Same place man, 28, working on improvement so that I can find a relationship that means something to me. Lost 30lbs in 3 months and am getting stronger every week, improved some other facets of my health and am depressed less often. Still trying to figure out what goals I want to pursue aside from finding a relationship but my love for writing music is returning finally.

I’m listening to this after having listened for a long time to Alan Watts lessons ( and having read his books) and I’ m having a bit of an existential crisis , what should I do about it?

Nice new channel title. The profile picture could use some work, too: perhaps as a parody of that artwork with Adam and God touching fingertips.

I wish I had someone who told me this years ago. Guess I'll be heroic and fix my relationship with the fiancé that doesn't like me.

Gustavo Peláez maybe it's more heroic to go out and look for a fiance that does like you..

This is chant/mantra I done my absolute best to embody the last 15 years. I can say that of all psychological back paddling I've dove on different aspects on my dysfunctional, traumatized, angry, confused, and all alone in the world sad little andreas. 6 years old with "Swedish" child blond hair as I see my inner child. , it's that. What can I do to better in all aspects of life. A seeming life long project/s.
I say to people who get to learn to know me if they could even imagine who i was in my life 0.1 beta they would not believe it ^^,
It's so funny. Amusing. Mind boggling! But so wonderful and obvious in the end of that. To transmute trash to well, Kinda sorted trash anyway. I wanteed(my ego, and a story bout alchemy that I saw the same time ^^,) to say to Gold!!! But alas, maybe a nugget or two tho ;)
God blesses those who travels through the fractal. To put trust in the process of not knowing but have the courage to let go of having "control". Whatever comes up I'm not afraid to face it. From murderous angry do panic attaching rage, sorrow. What ever it is, don't fight it anymore. Study it. Embody it. TAKE THE BULL BY ITS HORN!!! ITS THE FIGHT OF YOUR LIFE!! THE NOW OF THE REST OF YOUR LIFE IS AT STAKE!! DO IT, NOOOOW!! ^^,
