      Are there plans to make a 1.25 pound micro adjustment plate and/or a stand to hold the dumbbells?

    • @REPfitness
      @REPfitness  8 місяців тому +1

      @@time.4174 Stand yes. The 2.5lb adder weights give you increments like 10, 12.5, 15, 17.5, 20... but yes, great idea to add the 1.25lb micro adjustments if people want 11.25, etc.

    • @time.4174
      @time.4174 8 місяців тому +1

      @@REPfitnessThanks that’s what I was thinking. A 1.25lb micro plate option would allow users to progress more slowly and methodically since sometimes a 2.5lb increase is too much when we’re nearing the top end of what we can push.

      I agree, Zaine. I'm 67, and was taught back in the 70's that if you can't hang on through the whole movement, you've got too much weight on (except for Olympic lifts). Barbells, plates and even fixed dumbbells can break with enough abuse.

      Nuobell is absolute junk. Even if you don't drop them they will fail eventually because they use tiny plastic cam followers to move the rods in and out. And when they do inevitably fail you can't fix them, you have to buy a whole new handle. Ridiculous for something that expensive.
