My wife and I just got back from a month trip in Bangkok and loved it! Our favorite coffee spot ended up being a small stand run by the sweetest lady inside Mixt Chatuchak mall on the 3rd floor food court - (right next to Chatuchak Market). If you guys ever get a chance, please stop by Ling JugJug Coffee and try her espresso yen and let her know we said hi! Towards the end of our trip, we told her that her coffee was our favorite and she requested a freshly roasted batch just for us so we could try it while it was fresh! I miss Bangkok!

When I was a teenager, Chatuchak Market was open only on Saturday and Sunday. There were very few shops open from Monday to Friday. But for teenagers in the 90s, they knew that Friday evening was a treasure trove for those who wanted to buy rare second-hand fashion clothes. Shirts, pants, shoes, bags, everything. Because it was the day that the merchants would pick up the products to prepare for sale on Saturday and Sunday. Good and rare products would arrive on Friday evening. And if you wanted them, you had to know the shop owner so you could go in and choose to buy. There were only a few shops that were open for people who knew about this to come and buy. Of course, there were fewer customers than on Saturday and Sunday. But you still had to compete with the people who came, and you had to have good eyesight. Find them quickly and check carefully to see if they were real or not, and you also had to be able to predict fashion trends well. Because some things were rare and some models were not available in Thailand. Most of the people who came were people who liked fashion personally or people who came to choose to buy to sell on a small scale.
The back side near Or Tor Kor (OTK) Market sells a lot of second-hand books. That's where I like to go and choose books. There are all kinds of books and from many countries.😊
@ChovyTravel i've been to Laos, it's not as lively like Bangkok, alot of people usually go to enjoy nature. Cambodia is my next trip! Cant wait for your next trip!

I would like you to visit Chatuchak Park, which is near the famous tourist market but few tourists visit. The area consists of 3 public parks that are adjacent to each other. The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration has a website with explanations in Thai only, although there is a channel to change to English but it is not done yet (why would there be...?). The Thai Wikipedia describes Chatuchak Park as being built by a former prime minister within 2 days in 1978 (That's how my fellow countrymen work).
