He cleans and polished all day, so unless he really loves cleaning and polishing - probably not too clean and shiny, that's why u don't buy a mechanics car etc
@@markkulyas2418 obviously you’ve never polished anything in your life and even if you have I know it came out like shit. Real polishers know it takes more than just working a regular ass grinder, takes mad skill and technique, learn something instead
Those wheels look bad a$$ on that HD! That looks amazing. Just ordered the zephyr polishing kit, can’t wait to get results like this. I’ve been doing it by hand with that pro 40, with decent results, I’m ready to step it up!
one of the best vids I've come across Kev!...... do take your health serious though.. cover up and do NOt breath in particles or mineral spirit fumes .... we absorb chemicals through our skin, face, arms etc. .... money cant buy your health.. thanks for the share and take care : )
Great video. I noticed that you spoke about the polish that you used between each step, however, you didn't show how much to use or how to tell if/when you need to apply more to the buffer. Do you have any videos where you show those specifics?
thank you for your video they want to charge me $500 to polish my motorcycle wheels..." you gave me so much encouragement and save me $500 "THANK YOU!!..." I watched your video about 3 times every night for two weeks before I did my motorcycle wheels...(( and they came out just like you did them for me...LMAO
JimiMacRoss I’m not sure what you make an hour but you spent 45 Minutes a night for two weeks, bought all the materials, and equipment needed, then spent whatever time it took to do this. You sure it wouldn’t have been cheaper to just pay the $500?
+KiloSimeon yes it will but if you heard Kevin a lot of people asked for a how to polish with the wheels on, as they don't have access to power tools to take the wheels off and such.
A buddy of mine got his american force wheels scratched by his dog, (long story) can you do this process in sections if only part of the wheel is scratched
Good vid - quick question though. I’ve seen some vids that go to a 1000, 1500, 2000, and maybe even 3000 grit before buffing. What is the reason for doing that? Based on your vid, it doesn’t seem to be able to get any shinier, so why would some run all the way through the grits? Thanks again
What song is this man? Btw great job I've been watching this account for a looong time and the content keeps getting better! Just wish I knew the song😂
Very detailed and professional video! The only thing that slightly bothered me is the fact that this is a work truck. I understand the pride in having a nice and individual truck. But the wheels and tires alone are a bit much for a work truck.
Nick Smith its all about stuntin and rollin like a boss for all these welders out there lol they cant just have a simple tradesman or bare bones dually they gotta have the 100k truck lol
What does a person's title or wealth have anything to do with how they want there truck to look? To each there own is how it should be. From how you guys speak his rig is over the top but if he was rolling in a stock Colorado you guys would knock him for driving such a lame piece of shit?
I use to do motorcycle frames. Man it was soooo dirty! Face, hands, arms just black. I just ordered fuel forged in copper. Living where theres snow and salt I was like no way to polished.
There are several ways to polish Aluminum wheels (rims). Each one has it's positive and negative sides, however, at the end they are all somewhat equally shiny. What I am waiting for, for the last 30 plus years, is a method to keep them look nice for longer than just a few weeks. It seems to me that this is not possible. Not even Alcoa has managed the problem.
thanks for a great video. I have a question about the angle grinder he uses. all grinders I see turn 7-10k rpm, seems like hes modulating the throttle himself to keep it spinning
Bare aluminum looks the best! I don't see why you would have that on a truck though. Different rim size makes tires expensive. I don't care how long you got in Williston or wherever. I would of invested differently.
It's a beautiful thing to watch a professional tradesmen work his trade to this level!
Every time he did a layer I was like looks good can't get too much better than that but nope shinier every time😂
All the aluminum rims I've worked on were heavily oxidized and needed 100 grit to start. But this video is spot on. Excellent tutorial
what a transformation! this guy is good at what he does for sure.
I can only imagine how clean his dishes at home are
He cleans and polished all day, so unless he really loves cleaning and polishing - probably not too clean and shiny, that's why u don't buy a mechanics car etc
I came here for the best trucks in west Texas video and I ended being more into this video lol rims came out super clean
that right there takes a lot of patience good job guys keep up the good work
Superb cinematography and an excellent display of professional polishing! What more could you ask for?!?
Thank you sir!
Salinas Photography how much would a job like this cost??? all 4 rims
thats dude is an artist at polishing!! great job!!
An artist? Lol, a freaking monkey could run a polisher.
😂

Dude you are the man!!! Great work.
That looks amazing nice detail cleaning in the hole
Salinas you never disappoint with your videos, this one is one of my favorites!
Dude doesn't fuck around 👌
God damn, I thought I was a stickler. Two thumbs up bro.
Great job,,, brother really good information every step . Thanks learned alot
Thats awesome! Too bad my rims are black, I would love to try this. Thanks for a very informative video can't wait for the next one!
dudes a pro!!

Great job, thanks for sharing. 👍
Beautiful work, thanks for sharing.
Bud good work looks awesome
Boi looks like Everett from O Brother Where Art Thou
one of the best videos out there 👌👌
Thank you sir.
Shout out to Salinas Photography and Zephyr from Houston, TX.
Awesome how to video you guys
Great video guys! Much appreciated!!
Hope you can use this video one day!
Salinas Photography Can't wait to get my AF's in!

JimiMacRoss well $500 is the price what do you expect

A lot more work then i was expecting lol
It is a ALOT of work!
wouldn't polishing be 10x easier if you take the rim off...? seems like it would take way less time too without lugnuts in the way
+KiloSimeon yes it will but if you heard Kevin a lot of people asked for a how to polish with the wheels on, as they don't have access to power tools to take the wheels off and such.
Do you have to use grit before every polish or just if the wheels are scratched? Or can you just start the 3 wheel step?
A buddy of mine got his american force wheels scratched by his dog, (long story) can you do this process in sections if only part of the wheel is scratched
You are next level mate! What do you charge per wheel?
Good vid - quick question though. I’ve seen some vids that go to a 1000, 1500, 2000, and maybe even 3000 grit before buffing. What is the reason for doing that? Based on your vid, it doesn’t seem to be able to get any shinier, so why would some run all the way through the grits? Thanks again
Do you sand the barrel of the rim the exact same way ?
Great results. i had to turn the volume off though as that background song was making me hostile.
Joey M well that's good for u (Saturday night live quote)
The info was great!
But the "boom boom" noise (music???) is "bloody" annoying!!
Didn't watch the entire video because of it!!
Would it be easier to dismount the tire so you don't have to work around all those lug nuts?
Looking awesome, have you got a link to the products you use please
They sell these products? I wouldnt mind doing this to my WCI wheels tbh
Great video, lol you could tour with the blue man group after work :)
What song is this man? Btw great job I've been watching this account for a looong time and the content keeps getting better! Just wish I knew the song😂
ginuwine- so anxious
Milton Mitchell well its actually drake , thats just the sample
Salinas wheres your truck!!and great vid bro
What does he use to clean his buffing wheels after?
Holy mackerel! 😎
whats the best way to keep the wheels looking like this after every wash?
Amazing
Awesome work ! But what about the barrel of the rim I’d want that polished as well if I had chrome forces.
What is the minimum size polisher do you need to use the 10 inch or 8 inch wheels
Where would i go to get my forged rims done and how much does it cost?
Very detailed and professional video! The only thing that slightly bothered me is the fact that this is a work truck. I understand the pride in having a nice and individual truck. But the wheels and tires alone are a bit much for a work truck.

Those welders make dang good money.. you'd be suprised!

What if all I have is a 8500 rpm grinder will it still work ?
that Texas Chrome cap... 👌👌👌👌👌👌 lol
what do you charge for a dually setup
I see you flexing with all them grinders lol I hear ya
Can factory ford duelly wheels be polished it's a 2013 model king Ranch
John Mack they gotta be aluminum. Can’t be painted or have a clear coat
@@KD-mm3li thanks i think mines have a clear coat on them
what machines did you use, what models? i see mekitta and dewalt
Jesse Strader makita ga7021, dewalt dwp849x
So mineral spirits, any particular brand? What about kerosene
cool job
What is the tune to this video? the songs people have listed above is incorrect, but I love this beat!
I use to do motorcycle frames. Man it was soooo dirty! Face, hands, arms just black. I just ordered fuel forged in copper. Living where theres snow and salt I was like no way to polished.
Where can I buy the stuff in this video to polish my wheels?
Little Ginuwine playing at the beginning, nice

hi there! can you do a video polishing from bumper classic have in from thanks. you do great job and videos.
you sarted with 800g sandpaper ? and then 400 g ??
thanks for a great video. I have a question about the angle grinder he uses. all grinders I see turn 7-10k rpm, seems like hes modulating the throttle himself to keep it spinning
id say no cause the wheels are "rated" to only 3500 rpm. don't go past 6000 or the wheels may wear out faster.
What speeds do you run on primary and secondary cuts?
What brand of mineral spirits do you use??
I have some American force independence 22/14 and they have some curb rash is there any way to make them go away
Sand down the curb rash
Bare aluminum looks the best! I don't see why you would have that on a truck though. Different rim size makes tires expensive. I don't care how long you got in Williston or wherever. I would of invested differently.
Awesome video, what's the background music?
what's the backround song? I know it's drake but I cant figure out which one
Where can I get that mineral spirit
How do you maintain the grinder and a lower speed mines a 8k and the wheels are only rated for 3200??
You have to use verable speed buffing wheel. You can adjust rpm and trigger is adjustable. The more you pull trigger the faster it goes.
impressive beter then new
I agree!
Cant tell me he dont really use his rig my nigga was working 🤘chevy gang puttin in work but damn the wheel 😵😨
damn that came out clean , you know how much they charge for 24x14s?
sounds like the dentist cleaning my teeth
Not sure how good that respiratory is working, dudes face got dirtier & dirtier. Wheels look sick, good job my dood!
Do your windows first, that way you don't fling liquid polish all over your wheel you just cleaned. 😂
WHERE CAN I FIND THE PAD FOR THE DA SANDER ???
How can I get ahold of this guy to have him do my wheels? They’re hazy as shit
he must havnt washed/polished them in forever or something?
jays4forces take into consideration that it's a work truck so it's exposed to the elements.
+jays4forces this is a working welding rig!
Great video. Safety sake I would wear more protection so you do not get it all over your face etc. Your skin absorbs all that stuff. Stay safe.
yuh west texas ftw
What was the intro song
you're the best Man!!!!
So y'all just gonna skip passed the fact he did this over So Anxious by Ginuine. 🤔🤔🤔 #GreatJobTho
What's the name of that song?
Thats fuckn dope!
damn that shit looks nice
👍👍👍👍👍👍
we need you!
@ 5:48 spray what on the wheel?
How bout that extension? Where can I get one like that?
Andres Madrigal mineral spirits
One dirty dude right there lol
Polishing.. Getting so dirty to get the wheel clean. lol
One *working dude
That’s how wheels should shine. Always. If not don’t put wheels like that on your truck period!!!!
I'm as hard as a diamond in an ice storm right now
whoo hoo get out my sunglasses
Damn freaking get to work Damn
