What a wonderful piece of music and my favourite movie of all time,this happened to me back in 88 with exactly the same ending I was the one who couldn’t leave my wife and family,my wife passed in 2009 the following year just by chance I passed the other lady in the street we both stopped and looked back at each other and just fell in each other’s arms but we both knew the moment had passed we’ve had many many meets since then and still keep in touch,I wouldn’t say I regret my decision but just wouldn’t have missed the dance for anything. I’m 78 years old now and still look back with great fondness.

As a resident of Winterset, Madison County, Iowa, the Bridges still are magnets for many. Please, come and visit us and not only can you experience the allure of our bridges, but also visit the Birthplace and only museum honoring American Icon John Wayne and take a step back and enjoy a taste of a slower pace and an America like we remember it.
And to think that Clint Eastwood is the author of this magnificent song only reinforces my conception that he is a legend of the seventh art.... No words to describe what I feel.
Most heartbreaking midlife love drama of all time. I've seen this movie so many times and always end up crying at the last tear jerking scene with Clint standing in the rain and Meryl in the pick up. When I saw her hand on the door handle, I almost thought she would open the door and run out towards him. What a hard decision she had to make.
Excellent movie, love the acting of my favourite actors, the meaningful quotes, superb music and story. After all it's a movie directed and produced by C.E. with him acting, and the brilliant music also composed by Lennie and Clint.E.

La mejor pelicula que he visto en mi vida. Gracias a Clint y Meryl por esos irrepetibles personajes de Robert Kincaid y Francesca Johnson y su maravillosa escena de separacion bajo la lluvia. Que hermosa, romantica y bien actuada y dirigida. Gracias tambien a Lennie por esa melodia tan hermosa y tan acorde para el argumento.

He knows how to grab the heart and yet show human weakness and loneliness with desire. I believe you can find love late in life and some find this kind only once in a lifetime. Respect Clint Eastwood so much and the piano plays in the background.
Cheguei a ver este filme no "Corujão" há muitos anos atrás, qdo o meu coração tinha tanta esperança de um dia conhecer minha chama gêmea. Interessante, hj choro pela estória do filme, mas não mais de esperança de nada. Há um buraco muito grande dentro de mim. Um abismo sem fim. É linda essa estoria! Só isso!

The most moving scene is her Husband dying in Bed and he tells her he knows he didn't give her everything she wanted in life but truly loved her.

Stands the test of time as my 13 year old daughter watched it & loved it though the brief sex scene was not appreciated. How torn she was not to leave her car & go with him but it was a brief romance & she couldnt leave her life for a travelling man who was not a monk. Havent we all felt torn like this once in our life?
