But I get the larger point, and because your mining videos are well done - and because there’s a growing group of interested folks - a dedicated channel is probably the way to go. And grow. Especially if you intend to produce more regularly. Added to that, Eastern Oregon is an outlier with mining videos. It’s usually CA, NV, and AZ. So there’s that. (I spent a chunk of my life in Klamath Falls; Eastern OR is in my blood) With channel names. I have no idea. If you want to keep the “H” theme, I’d hit up a synonym finder, but that might be cheesy. History with Ham Homestead Ham Homestead Underground Ham Homestead … Whatever you decide, I’m sure it’ll be great.
Hi Jack, I'd love to watch your dedicated mining channel. I've been wanting to learn more about prospecting and the geological history of Baker county. (I was born in Baker in 1962 and just moved back to Oregon)
Glad that got sorted out, breakers popping can cause a lot of stress... Personally I'm good with one channel... (lots to learn & one place to go... Lol).. Hi Jack, I like the idea of a second channel for mining content. I like your homestead content too so I'll keep watching the original channel as well. You could call your mining channel "Ham Mine Exploration" or something like that.
I like all the video content you produce. Getting it all on one channel is handy. If you were doing multiple, weekly, uploads it might be helpful to have the second channel. Maybe the mining related videos could be called, “Ham Homestead - Underground.”
Second Channel sounds Great Jack! I don't know what category I fall in, but I'll watch anything that you post because its interesting and you have a Great Channel. Hey I'll tell you a trick that works for me sometimes on recovering a lost memory. I usually try this before I get up or after I have relaxed at the end of the day. I concentrate on the time that I thought about something, like some idea or a person's name and I start with the letter A and I try to think of words that go with that. Then the next letter and so forth till the end of the alphabet . May have to try this several times. Perhaps this will work for the name of the second channel that you can't remember. I've went thru the whole alphabet several time. Sometimes it works, sometimes not, good luck on the name if you remember, or hope a subscriber comes up with a great name. GOD Bless !
