I think the video about “cooking” the rabbit isn’t a joke about cooking in that sense. I think they just were joking about the color, but I could be wrong
Uneducated I had a rabbit long ago and we did bathe him once in a blue moon, because we were tiny and dumb at the time He passed away ( old age ) and with the new bunny we learned more and more and are better
Mine loved bathing - meaning he would get into a bucket of water lying around, a pond, or whatever he found, and then rolled and chilled in it... Until his evil owner (me completely worried about him) got him out and tried to dry him, while he was trying to get back into the water. He was always acting sassy with me because I didn't let him...What a weirdo, I loved him. 🐰❤️

When my bunny eats celery all the juices drip down his chin and it's the CUTEST. Sorry thats really random but she mentioned how she like watching her bunny eat.
The first time I gave my rabbit watermelon rinds (there was a little bit of Melon still on the rind) their little mouths were covered in light pink juice 😂
Sophie Anderson my vet told me to bath my rabbit in shallow water every other month because my rabbit is 7 but my rabbit seems pretty relaxed and doesn’t try to get out but if she did we would stop it also we use very shallow water
Hi There Just because the rabbit doesn’t try to get out doesn’t mean it’s fine to bath them. They can go in shock and be paralyzed. NEVER bath your rabbit under any circumstances. Even if it’s shallow, they can still get hypothermia and go in shock. That vet clearly doesn’t know what they’re talking about. If you really need to bath your rabbit, use a slightly damp cloth, do not ever soak your rabbit in water..
Raven The Psycho ok I will start using a damp cloth thanks :) I never really wanted to bathe my rabbit but my parents just did it anyway but thanks so much for the advice it really helped

When I got my first bunny I did so much research but somehow missed what a “flop” was and it scared me I didn’t know why he was “falling over” It was so cute
When she said: “Hares are kinda scary” I shook my head faster then the speed of lighting knowing the fact they can be so innocent then mess you up one second later 😭💀
Innocent commenter: “Hey, I don’t think it’s a good idea to bathe your-“ Millions of other commenters: “UGH TIKTOK VETS GO AWAY!!” Seriously, I wish people wouldn’t do that though -_-
No it wasn’t, and if you read in to further context you would have know why it was getting a bath. It needed one because it’s urine was burning its skin and was urgent. And it’s not your pet so you don’t know if it was in shock. BECAUSE ITS NOT YOUR BUNNY
My friend does the same. She used to keep her bunny (Dippy) in a cage that size, he's now been upgraded to free roam. She just didn't know better when she bought Dippy, and the pet store recommended a cage that size.
this video is 4 years old but i am preparing for a bunny couple after years of not owning any and i can’t believe people would bathe or force their bunnies to go swimming… i left my door open as i bathed once and my bunny jumped in. i was scared, cried and took him to the vet. he was fine but i almost had a panic attack…
Mind you! I was only 14 then and knew better than to bathe my bunny. A fully grown adult not caring to put in any effort of doing their research before getting a pet is mind blowing to me.
I think you misinterpreted the one where he puts the bunny in the oven. The joke isn't that "rabbits are food", the joke is that he has 2 rabbits, one is lighter which he pretends to put in the oven, and then pulls the one with black patches like he's a burnt loaf. I doubt the creator had any bad intentions in mind, people do that with cats and dogs. For example, when cats sit in this kind of position where they put their paws underneath, they are called "loafs", not because they are food, but because they look life a loaf of bread like that, and it's cute. I understand if you don't find it funny, I didn't exactly laugh at that either, but I seriously doubt it was supposed to be anything but a harmless, silly joke.
The “pizza in the oven” is a trend on TikTok, he didn’t mean it as a “cook you rabbit type of thing” the joke is he puts it in the oven and when the song says “that *itch burnt as *uck” he pulls the black out like it got “burnt” people do this with other animals or people ❤️
Even though it’s a trend, idk. I get it wasnt a “cooking a rabbit” thing, but people make so many jokes about cooking my pets I don’t find anything that could be in the slightest way related to such things funny personally. :/
My bunny used to jump into my shower all the time .I would freak out and get him out and he would go again! He would just seat in the wet tub and grome himself then hop out on his own. I would never let the water hit him ! I think he just liked the wet tub and being there with me .
I never clicked so fast in my life! The first two things I learned about rabbits was to never bathe them and to not put them in a cage. Some of these Tik toks seriously make me cringe!
When I was in first grade my teacher had a free roaming rabbit at home (surprisingly progressive for the time as this was nearly 20 years ago) somehow the rabbit ending up getting into some cleaning chemicals and needed an emergency bath. She took the rabbit to the vet for the bath because she knew it was risky to bathe them. They kept the bunny overnight for observation and my teacher came to school in tears because she was so worried about her pet. Luckily the bunny survived and lived to be 9 years old. Please don’t bathe your bunnies!!!! It’s not necessary and can cause harm. Only bathe if it is a complete emergency and even then it should be done in a carefully constructed way to avoid shock.
Yeah. My bunny had trouble grooming herself, so I bathed her sometimes. Not very often though. I had to surrender her because we were moving across the country and I didn’t want to put her through that stress. She got adopted again a week and a half after we surrendered her, and now lives as a free time bunny :)
Lennon's mum, thank you for guiding us into being better bunny carers...found you January bunnies arrived February, checking in with your videos is such a good way to learn and review....thank you for working so hard to give bunnies a voice
Shelby Ballard hi! I’m sorry that my comment offended you, I phrased it wrong. I meant people who have pet store cages and still show them off even though they’ve gotten criticism for it.
@@bunbunnthebunny3795 Was about to get offended (my rabbits cage consists of a bunch of XL Xpens put together) then read that you meant those tiny cages the pet shops sell and was like oh yeah totally agree.

right. it took me 11 years to get my own cat and i did so so so much research, it makes me upset when people just buy a pet one day and then dont care about the costs and how to take care of it
yeah before and after i got my pets i did research. If I didn't know what to do I would research before I did anything possibly harmful such as bathing my rabbit or feeding it different foods.
I got my bunny quickly but I still did so much research and tryed to get as much information as possible and I'm lucky enough to have 2 people that work in a vet hospital college in my family to be clear the reason I got her quickly is because a friend needed to rehome her and was afraid to give her to a stranger and i like bunnies anyway and like helping and wanted my own furry child so i took her in and keep my friend updated with cute pictures

Paws Up Weekly when I was younger I thought you could bath hamsters but I did my research and learned. It’s the fact that people don’t want to take 10 minutes to educate themselves, it’s even bad to bath a dog more than 1 time a week.
@@boyinblue. yeah the only times you should ever "bathe" a hamster, is if they've gotten things stuck in their fur they cant get out and need the assistance, especially if they're sick. But you shouldn't actually bathe them and probably just wipe the area that's messy with a very damp paper towel. But only if it's really needed.

When I was younger I use to have my rabbit swim with me. Now i look back on it and feel like a terrible person. Needless to say I definitely don't do it anymore! I feel like these people don't intentionally harm their rabbits. They just need to learn more about them.
Dont worry about it. We all make mistakes when we are young. It's just the fact that these people have access to google and to books and choose not to think before they act.
6:09 I mean slowing it down I didn't see any hands or skin, so the person couldn't have touched the rabbit. I assume what really happened was that the bunny tried to jump out, slipped on the edge of the tub and jumped back in and the person just got surprised and jumped back as well
So basically, the rabbits in the oven was just a friendly tiktok. They put a rabbit inside and when they open it, a different rabbit appears. Kinda like a magic trick but tiktok edition. If i sounded rude, i didnt intend to
I don’t think they punched the bunny, but the bunny CLEARLY wanted to go. Edit: This comment was now 9 months ago and I still get notifications about it everyday.
We found a lost house bunny and we had no problem free roaming her because she’s the sweetest bun ever!! She hasn’t chewed ANY of our many wood chairs or walls or wires since she got here!? I’m amazed how behaved she is and I hope she enjoys living with us
We also found an abandoned house bunny and he has no problem being free roaming with us! He doesn't chew anything except for charging cables for our phones or headphones which we quickly learned to keep tucked away! He is a Rex Silver Martin and we hope he loves living with us!
@@JessicaJohnson-gb8nh generally those wires are made with peanut oil which the bunnies like so if u get the cords that are braided in cloth and not just rubber they won’t go for them
In my country it is relatively common to eat rabbit. I personnally don't think it is that big of a deal. I completely understand that it is to vegans/vegetarians, though. But as a meat eater I don't differenciate between pets and livestock. That would be some kind of dysphoria. I've also owned a rabbit as a pet in the past and obviously bounded with it. I wouldn't have thought of eating it because of that special bond, but not inherantly because it was a rabbit. That is a lame thing to suggest to a rabbit owner. And they absolutely don't taste like chicken
Nooom91 THANK U, I’m vegan and it’s fine u can choose what u eat (I just don’t morally agree) but it’s so annoying when people act like sOme animals deserve to be eaten and others don’t? Cows are very social! And far more intelligent than we give them credit for!! Pigs are rly sweet too and chickens have suCH personalities! (I wouldn’t eat my dog but I keep that energy for all animals?)
@@anniemcmahon6778 I am actually a flexitarian for environmental reasons. I eat meat once or twice a week and eggs or dairies everyday for health reason because I generally have trouble keeping on weight and it was recommanded by my nutritionist. Otherwise, I think I would be a vegetarian. Vegan is way harder to do and I respect that commitment a lot. However, I personally don't mind eating animals that have been well treated, but I was raised to respect meat and seeing it more as Sunday family meal than as an everyday indulgence. I think people treat it as a disposable item nowadays, but my family had a farm with livestock and given all the work and care that goes into raising animals, you get the notion that meat shouldn't be left in the fridge to expire or trashed because you're not hungry anymore.
Bunnies sometimes need to be bathed, the one where the bunny was “punched,” I looked on TikTok, and the creator said that the bunny’s urine was burning its skin
It’s actually rlly sad that people don’t consider doing research before bathing bunnies and stuff. They should really watch your channel. You have been so much help to me and my rabbit. And I just want to say thanks!
rabbits actually like living in small spaces, as they live in barrows in the wild. I do think that they should have enough room to move around, of course, but they do prefer smaller spaces. I have owned rabbits in the past btw
@@sevenrichardson6722 yes I have one, and just because hamsters are small animals doesn’t mean that they they should be put in a tiny cage and suffer. SO MATE YOUR WRONG! AND THEY SHOULDNT BE BATHED AND IF YOU ARE SMART THEN YOU WOULD KNOW THAT!:)
Not to be wrong but some of those people just don’t know that bunnies aren’t supposed to be in water and that’s not their fault someone just needs to tell them that doesn’t make them a bad bunny owner
I suggest you add exceptions to your explanation when it's actually neccessary to bathe your rabbit, because it's not always like this. My bunny was seriously ill and got his back legs paralyzed due to the illness. I had to wash him, because he couldn't do it by himself anymore and would be basically laying in his own piss and poop at that point. We worked together like this for around half a year, he was a fighter before I had to put him down eventually when I he became visibly in pain and stopped eating.
@@sunpup6775 Pet wipes won't clean the rabbits fur all the way. Most have extremely thick fur and simply wiping it off with a pet wipe won't clean it fully.
I also had to bath my rabbit several times, just the butt and sometimes the legs. It should remain an exceptional case but sometimes it is necessary if your bunny is ill. In those situations wipes are completely useless. I was always very careful and my bunny never had any problem after a bath.
SiennaOMG yes, also that video of the rabbit swimming in CHLORINATED water! There’s chlorine on his/her fur that’s gonna be difficult for it to wash itself. Chlorine is difficult to wash out of human hair enough as is
Sometimes, it not very common, But some rabbits ENJOY swimming! I was watching a video and the rabbit deliberately jumped into the water and had a swim and then swam back to shore and binkyed out of the water?😶 it was kinda cute though lol
But still when people put the rabbits in water against the rabbits will? Ugggghhh, I mean sometimes they have to get a bath, if the have like, diarrhea but only a spot clean a little but wash but not the entire bunny
Livibeckk not trying to hate but I saw someone do it on tiktok basically the girl did it in reverse ( the video ) so if you speed it down you can see she hits him back in to the tub
I don’t want to be that person, but it’s clear you didn’t see most of the videos correctly. I really don’t like people bathing their rabbits, but please analyze the video before you criticize.
I feel like she was being very extra with the rabbit in the oven it’s a trend people did it with their dogs and cats it has nothing to do with rabbits being food lmao👀
Yeah it does have something to do with "Eating Your Rabbit" -or- cooking) there is people out here that'll eat rabbit's not being funny. & don't EVER! Say that she's being extra, she's telling what to do, & what not to do with your rabbit/ bunny.
I can’t believe what some people do to their rabbits. It’s one thing to post it and not know but to still keep their videos up is just terrible. But I’m glad that many people are kind and caring to their bunnies! Also I think that your hair looks really nice Lorelei!
also the "i was distracted by the small cage.." part kinda pissed me off. stop acting like you got some sort of moral high ground?? your couldnt even see the full cage like bruh
Giving a rabbit a bath is very dangerous! They can easily die from shock or hypothermia, they can develop pneumonia or ear infections. They splash, not because it is fun, but rather because they are scared *DO NOT GIVE BUNNIES A BATH!* Rabbits are naturally very clean animals and groom themselves as much as cats. _(If you find that your bun has a spot that he needs some help with, a damp cloth or gentil combing is all you need to fix the problem.)_ The hare didn't jump that high and it was on the other side so unless it jump backwards it's a glitch or a troll. Hare's are not scary there's cuter than bunnies i feed the wild hare's in my yard sometimes just because it make's them so happy and that make's me happy. It's 8 of them and i just love them 😍 I love just sitting on the grass watching them play and chase each other
I wouldn't say she was going out of her way to be "fake woke", I personally think she didn't understand what the joke was(can you blame her, no offense, I'ma millennial too, but even I think some millennials jokes are definitely really dumb and dont always make sense, so I cant penalize her for not getting a vague tiktok meme, it isnt what she's filming about). She also disnt say a ton about it, just that it wasnt all that funny (which is an opinionI don't disagree with) and that it perpetuates food stereotypes. Absolutely anyone that gushes about keeping ANY livestock animals *ex: goats, chickens, cows, buns* has heard MANY times some variation of their cute animal looking like a delicious snack. I dont even keep livestock and I here it all the time just talking about them. So yeah I could understand how that can sound extra to someone who doesn't understand or keep livestock as pets. Yeah I dont think she meant anything by it she just missed the bland joke. Id defend it more if it was funny.

『 *-Amana Banana-* 』 yep. And in the video she made about the illegal “pet shop” where the guy was abusing the animals, I noticed in her voice and her words, she only ever talked about the rabbits. Not the guinea pigs, not the birds, not the turtles dogs or cats. No, she only wanted the police to save the rabbits. And in that video she made where the person who’s rabbit attacked Lennon apologized, she had a fan girl who looked around 12 years old on the thumbnail and words saying “I’m sorry” that’s practically click-bait. And that poor girl who probably watches her all the time must have been so shocked!
I think it was a joke too. Like someone prob did that with a dog cause it’s funny. Or a cat. It’s not necessarily directed to bunny’s but to the color of the for
I get this woman is trying to spread awareness about bad treatment of rabbits but the oven one was actually a cute and innocent joke And looking at some comments people are butthurt thinking it meant something different. The bathtub one (where they supposedly push the rabbit back) if you slow it down you can see that the hand didn’t even touch the rabbit and it went back into the tub (even though it’s still fucked up it’s clearly visible the human didn’t push the rabbit) I’m not trying to start a war but she’s over exaggerating with some-
Don’t worry, a lot of people agree with you. Apparently the owner said that they were washing their rabbit because it had peed and the urine was burning its skin. Even though you shouldn’t wash rabbits, it’s pretty clear that she was over exaggerating a fuck ton with ‘OmG dID hE JuSt PuNcH tHe BUnNy!1!1?1?’
Aiika ! Actually, if you slow the video down you can see that the owner’s hand comes nowhere near the rabbit; other than the rabbit accidentally bonking it’s nose against the camera, no harm was done.
I have the same reaction when I see people bathing hamsters. Besides the fact that a lot of their protective oils and therefore immune system is located in their fur.. hamsters, as many animals such as rabbits do have the ability to swim. However, just because they can swim doesn't mean they enjoy it. The only time you will se a hamster swim is when they are running for their lives. Because going into water is so risky for them and their health, hamsters will avoid swimming if there is any way around it. They will *only* swim to escape certain death as the absolute very last resort. When you put a hamster into water, although they are domesticated, these instincts are still programmed into them from their wild counterparts. The whole time your hamster is spending in that sink or bathtub even, they will feel like right now, they are fighting and swimming for their lives. They will be terrified, anxious and can in severe cases develope Wettail and die. Especially Syrian hamsters are vulnerable to this stress desease. Always inform yourself about the hygiene of your pet and grooming. Sometimes knowing or not knowing will decide whether your animal stays with you for a long time, or leaves you prematurely.

No it wasn’t, and if you read in to further context you would have know why it was getting a bath. It needed one because it’s urine was burning its skin and was urgent. And it’s not your pet so you don’t know if it was in shock. BECAUSE ITS NOT YOUR BUNNY
My rabbit is free roamed and I literally use that small cage from the pet store for a litter box
My friend does the same. She used to keep her bunny (Dippy) in a cage that size, he's now been upgraded to free roam. She just didn't know better when she bought Dippy, and the pet store recommended a cage that size.
That is weird
Mine both free roam and we use the bottom of a hamster cage that you could take apart for one litter box and a second is an old storage container.
Are you really Ariana Grande

this video is 4 years old but i am preparing for a bunny couple after years of not owning any and i can’t believe people would bathe or force their bunnies to go swimming… i left my door open as i bathed once and my bunny jumped in. i was scared, cried and took him to the vet. he was fine but i almost had a panic attack…

Kat Starr awww
your teacher is very education on pet care haha very nice
I’m so happy the bunny’s alright! Your teacher did the right thing!
Yeah. My bunny had trouble grooming herself, so I bathed her sometimes. Not very often though. I had to surrender her because we were moving across the country and I didn’t want to put her through that stress. She got adopted again a week and a half after we surrendered her, and now lives as a free time bunny :)

I really hate it when people find out I have a bunny and they say “I heard they taste like chicken” DUDE STOP YOU WOULDN’T EVEN SAY THAT TO A DOG

Regarless. It shouldn't be in the tub in the first place.
@@andreamc502 apparently the creator said the bunny's urine was burning their skin and that's why it's in the tub, according to another comment
so I wasn't the only one that realized that.
also the "i was distracted by the small cage.." part kinda pissed me off. stop acting like you got some sort of moral high ground?? your couldnt even see the full cage like bruh
I felt like I was the only person who noticed that
Giving a rabbit a bath is very dangerous! They can easily die from shock or hypothermia, they can develop pneumonia or ear infections. They splash, not because it is fun, but rather because they are scared *DO NOT GIVE BUNNIES A BATH!* Rabbits are naturally very clean animals and groom themselves as much as cats. _(If you find that your bun has a spot that he needs some help with, a damp cloth or gentil combing is all you need to fix the problem.)_
The hare didn't jump that high and it was on the other side so unless it jump backwards it's a glitch or a troll. Hare's are not scary there's cuter than bunnies i feed the wild hare's in my yard sometimes just because it make's them so happy and that make's me happy. It's 8 of them and i just love them 😍 I love just sitting on the grass watching them play and chase each other
You totally missed the joke behind the oven rabbit one but ok. The fake wokeness hit hard there
I wouldn't say she was going out of her way to be "fake woke", I personally think she didn't understand what the joke was(can you blame her, no offense, I'ma millennial too, but even I think some millennials jokes are definitely really dumb and dont always make sense, so I cant penalize her for not getting a vague tiktok meme, it isnt what she's filming about).
Mylow arts LMAOOO
Leander Hill Jesus fuck paragraph king get the fuck out of here she literally went off for no reason just like you’re doing now making yourselves look dumb
Mylow arts you’re a furry opinion denied
@@Bruh-kd9rx Not a furry, I just appreciate my friends art. But that doesn't even matter anyways because furries are allowed to have opinions 🤧
I feel so bad for the rabbit who had to take a bath 🥺😭
My poor baby had to take a couple "baths" (super shallow water) because she would mess herself and sit in it until her fur matted up
Same, they seemed unhappy.
Brooke John i understand it’s shallow, but i would still be very cautious and try to use a damp cloth instead.
Brooke John Yeah, my aunt has a rabbit named hops and she used to bathe it in shallow water until I told her not to
I have to wash my bunny's butt because she doesn't know how to wash herself down there. And a damb cloth doesn't do it.
That one bunny that was "jumping really high" was not actually jumping
The car hit the rabbit and it got kinda catapulted into the air, you can see that on other photos : (
There is one photo that shows the bunny jumping on it's own then into the air like that. I really am hoping that it didnt get hit by a car and die.
@@brainybunny13 you can clearly see that this guy skipped a few photos. I'm really sorry but this bunny died. On one of the photos you can see it being hit by the car, then catapulted into the air and then flying in like two more photos.
@@ackey521 yeah I agree with you. I checked and it seems that way that the bunny got hit by a car. Also upon closer inspection I noticed that its left hind paw was badly broken. Now I am depressed that it had to endure such horrible fate. I am a bunny owner and I love rabbits it hurts to see other bunnies get hurt.
I just don't get how the rabbit can be on a another side by being hited by car

her: i love how everyones watching the bunny in the park.

Iv been wanting you to post it makes me cringe seeing all that poor care
When she took the "burnt my rabbit" tik tok the wrong way, I was rolling and dying of laughter 😂😂😂
Don't get me wrong, I love Lorelei and I very thing she does, but sometimes she needs to keep an open mind and loosen up
『 *-Amana Banana-* 』 yep.
@Cheetaspot Aj werent those a while ago?
I think it was a joke too. Like someone prob did that with a dog cause it’s funny. Or a cat. It’s not necessarily directed to bunny’s but to the color of the for

nah shes fine the way she is.
The fact that the “This is the dummest video I’ve ever made” is spelled “dummest” instead of “dumbest” 😂

When you said, "I don't know, I guess I am a dinosaur," I died laughing.
I love it when my rabbit stands on his hind legs and looks around
Ducky Gang same. It's so cute lol
Same
OMG samewww
He’s a meerbunny
@Itafii smithhh If a rabbit stands on they hind legs they are curious not dumb so don’t be rude about rabbits
I get this woman is trying to spread awareness about bad treatment of rabbits but the oven one was actually a cute and innocent joke
And looking at some comments people are butthurt thinking it meant something different. The bathtub one (where they supposedly push the rabbit back) if you slow it down you can see that the hand didn’t even touch the rabbit and it went back into the tub (even though it’s still fucked up it’s clearly visible the human didn’t push the rabbit)
I’m not trying to start a war but she’s over exaggerating with some-
Don’t worry, a lot of people agree with you.
Some people are insensitive. So let that be.
Ever heard of the fact that you can hold your phone with both hands. I understand why they bathed it but they definitely pushed it back.
Aiika ! Actually, if you slow the video down you can see that the owner’s hand comes nowhere near the rabbit; other than the rabbit accidentally bonking it’s nose against the camera, no harm was done.
THANK YOU GOD SOMEONE SAID IT 🙏🙏🙏
I have the same reaction when I see people bathing hamsters.
I've owned several hamsters and I completely agree with you
