I think it’s really impressive that he listened to the viewer and took constructive criticism and didn’t view it as a negative, but really implied it in his next video. This guy is an excellent content creator hooked up.
It would be nice to get more of a breakdown on the AFE components on the engine as I am sure, many GX owners would be interested in the intake and filtering you have fitted. Not so much the power module as it would probably void Lexus warranty (Not that many of your other mods would not 😀). Also are you looking at fitting the 30 litre additional fuel tank in place of the spare under the vehicle? Toyota have this for the new LC 250.
@@BattleScar09 For sure! Actually not much is available at the moment because this was the R&D vehicle for AFE on designing the intake for the gx550. There isn’t even an item number on their website yet besides for the power module. The biggest question I had received across social platforms was what the numbers were and even after this video not many believe it to be true but of course AFE had it on the dyno to test their design.

I am enjoying the updates on the GX, and so far it looks great! That solar panel looked deceptively like paint wrap or a hood decal, from a distance. I REALLY like that, and need that lol My 550 OT+ just returned home with some new 35 inch Toyo Open Country tires, Method 703 bronze wheel, and a Westcott lift that uses the factory shocks\springs etc, because I wanted to address the approach angle, and get on 35s with no issues, while preserving the stock ride quality, as much as possible. It turned out excellent! Oh wow an addition 100 hp? That is the tune you mentioned on my last comment lol. I had the Magnuson supercharger in my previous 2019 4Runner TRD OR, but so far I like the power of the GX 550 lol. In fact, with the infuriating 21 gallon tank on the GX 550, I would not want to lower economy, personally lol. That is something I'll keep in mind though! Excellent update!

I have already rejected the idea of solar on the roof of my 4x4s, but that is brilliant! I look forward to more updates! The GX looks great and articulates great with your current set up!
@ there’s lots of talk going around about Toyotas warranties so in all honesty either way trying to get a claim is going to be an uphill battle. What I can say is everything thats done is 100% reversible.

I was looking at well optioned Gladiators, but not even fully loaded, earlier this year that were in the low 70's. But, I gotta be honest, if I didnt need my truck to also be able to tow and not just offroad, I probably would buy a Jeep. I bought an LX570 because it can do both pretty well.

With all the money you have invested, I just figured you'd do that too. Also, have you considered a muffler mod so it isn't such low hanging fruit, especially now that spare isn't underneath? Either way, the truck looks KILLER!
